Carolina Cabin Rentals

We had a great time at The Lookout log cabin. It was clean, had ample supplies, and was very spacious. There is only one TV, it is located on the lower level family room, none in the second floor where the fireplace is, none in any bedrooms. That was fine with us, but maybe not with others. The path even when just wet is challenging if you don't have 4 wheel drive, I wouldn't chance it any other way. The gas grill and wood burning outside fireplace was very popular this stay. Lots of stairs! I giggled trying to go up to bring our luggage in, because it tickled me so, I am 65 and work on a treadmill 4 x week for an hour each session. That helped prepare me for these stairs and the snow tubing we did at Beech Mountain Resort while there. Yes, I would go back again. Awesome!

We very much enjoyed Bald Mountain Lodge in Todd, NC. This pet friendly home was exceptional in its condition and exactly what was listed. It did not disappoint. I felt like it was a home and not a rental. Our family of 5 plus our doodle had more than enough space for us and the beds were so comfortable which I really appreciate after we spent a day skiing, a day on UTV’s and time at Grandfather Mountain and Blowing Rock. We were able to come back from our fun and enjoy the hot tub, cook in a well equipped kitchen, enjoy a fire and rest for the comfortably for the next adventure. This home is only 20 minutes from Lowe’s Grocery store and food establishments too.
We loved this home and we thank you for sharing it with us and having a great property management company to oversee a perfect stay.

The listing was perfectly described! The amount of space, beds, sitting room, and eating room were perfect for our party of 9 and could accommodate more! The view was stunning! The house was stunning! This is our second time at least renting through Carolina Cabin Rentals, our other home 2 years ago was only a few houses up from this one, and we highly recommend! Great everything!

Beech View Retreat: a great place to stay! I have rented cabins before and the pictures looked better than the actual place. Not true in this case. There were 10 of us for the weekend and as roomy as the cabin is, we would have been comfortable for a whole week! It was very clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay!

My girlfriend and I vacationed in Seven Devils and absolutely fell in love with the area. From the supurlative surroundings of nature to the convenience of having everything we love and enjoy at our fingertips.

The views from our vacation home rental were the most awe-inspiring we've ever experienced. The place was a bright haze of tranquility. We'll definitely be back!!

So beautiful , had such an incredible week there. Cabin is very roomy clean and very cute. Wish there were tvs in the bedrooms but besides that I couldn't have asked for a better vacation

Little Timber Creek did not disappoint. Very cozy and well equipped. We really enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub. Just right for two people. Beautiful private location. Perfect romantic getaway. Convenient distance from Boone.

Loved our stay! Check in and check out we’re a breeze. House was clean and exactly as pictured on the site. If you stay, follow the directions provided as Waze is a bit off. We had a great time and enjoyed the hot tub.

I've stayed at the Golden Ridge Getaway mountain house, in Blowing Rock, three times now and I'm NEVER disappointed. The knotty pine and and indigenous decor is so beautiful. The only thing that rivals the interior are the amazing views off of both the lower and upper decks. If you were so inclined to never leave the home to experience any of the local attractions which are minutes away, you'd be content to stay in and relax dreading the end of your stay. Highly recommended!

We had a great time. Booked the house for our family for a fun family weekend and ski trip. Not too far of a drive from Beech Mountain. The house was well stocked, just a pictured, plenty of space to relax and hang out together, hot tub was a huge plus and enjoyed and we liked the location to other things. Kitchen was well stocked, which was very nice as we cooked breakfast and dinner daily. The only suggestion would be to have more coffee cups and drinking glasses - those seemed short in number for the house to sleep 12. Would definitely consider booking the same spot again for future trips! Thanks!!

We stayed at Red Fox Den for 4 days. The house had all the modern amenities! We thought we’d have the house & the yard to ourselves, but when some other guests arrived at the neighboring cabin, there were people just casually wandering through and hanging out with their pets on the grounds of the property we’d rented. It seemed strange- like you wouldn’t hang out in someone’s yard in any other rental scenario. It really took away from the experience, because the people talked constantly and chose the spot 10 feet from our steps to fish (when they had a yard with river access of their own). They’d rented a tiny cabin where we’d rented the larger house, so I guess ours was the more attractive spot for fishing etc; they just wandered over, repeatedly, constantly. Maybe there should be more information in the rental packet to advise what the property boundaries are, and what is available for every guest to use and what’s not. We’d rented a house and thought the yard of this property would be solely ours during our stay. Was weird to look out the window to see people standing in the yard with their dogs running off leash, then back again with their fishing poles, then a third shows up and then another person, all standing and talking right beneath our deck in what we thought was our yard. That being said, the property is quite lovely and the Linville River is just a showstopper of a view from the deck of Red Fox. This property may not be ideal for anyone who has mobility issues: there is a flight of stairs from driveway to the front door that you have to carrying your luggage up, and another quite steep and narrow stairs to reach the loft where the nicer of the two beds is. The bathroom is downstairs, so if you are sleeping in the loft and need to visit the bathroom in the night, you will have to navigate those steep stairs. The nearby restaurants were closed during our stay, as it appears most places are only open Thu - Mon. We made the (1 hour roundtrip) drive to the nearest Walmart and bought our own food to cook. It was fine and we enjoyed eating our meals on the deck. Don’t bother with “Lowery’s Barbecue” just up the street. Though the brightly lit sign flashes “BARBECUE!”, we were told by the employee that they no longer sell bbq. All they had was microwave pizza. Your best bet is to bring your own food and get the lay of the land the first day as there is not a grocery for miles and the few restaurants keep odd days/hours. We were looking for quiet isolation so we were ok with the lack of eating establishments. All in all we had a wonderful time despite the few issues I’ve mentioned. We will definitely use Carolina Cabins again!!

We stayed at Cloud 9 - the cabin was a perfect size, clean and had great view of the mountains. We did drive an AWD vehicle which made it easier to get to the cabin. We had a few questions but they were very communicative (we booked directly through the rental group instead of vrbo). Hot tub was perfect also. We would stay at this property again.

Had a great stay at Beech Creek Cabin! This was our third visit to this cabin and the cabin was immaculate. The beds were super comfortable and the cabin is well equipped with everything you need. If you're coming in the winter and they're expecting snow and you're driving a vehicle without 4 wheel drive I'd suggest you pickup a set of tire chains to be on the safe side.

We just spent 4 nights at Blue Ridge View cabin and it was spectacular. The home is beautiful and away from all of the town bustle. The driveway is steep, as advertised, but we had absolutely no issues with our AWD SUV. The staff at Carolina Cabin Rentals were friendly and professional and answered all questions promptly, both by phone and email. We will definitely be back!!

I stayed in the Blowing Rock / Boone area in cabin 'Time Well Wasted' in mid-November for 4 nights. This cabin rates as one of my best rental experience. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed. I really liked how close to town, both Blowing Rock and Boone, and yet we still had mountain views.

The property management is the best we've worked with. Communication was great and all questions were answered very quickly.

I will definitely stay again!

Our family had the opportunity to take a vacation together and we stayed at The Happy Place. The house was amazing! Each couple had their own king sweet, and the granddaughters shared a room downstairs. The views off the deck were breathtaking and the hot tub coupled with the low temps made for a fun time!
The staff and management at Carolina Cabins were quick to respond to our questions and the maintenance staff did a great job getting the cabin ready for our arrival. We look forward to coming back soon...
