SpringHill Suites by Marriott Winston-Salem Hanes Mall

Great place to stay, near restaurants and stores. The staff was friendly and the room was neat and spacious we had two rooms for our family of six and we felt it could have slept 12 if sharing beds. But we were very comfortable with 4 kids And two adults. Breakfast was good quality waffles, eggs, baked goods,oatmeal, juice, coffee and tea. They could probably use more than one waffle iron though. The one there was a little wonky and there was a line to make waffles with only one for the whole hotel. Gym was decent, but too chilly. Pool looked nice, small but clean. Overall had a nice stay.

Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The shower was a dream... the water was hot and the water pressure was amazing!!

This hotel was recently renovated and it was very clean. We stayed in a King room and the shower was fairly small and when washing my body, couldn't avoid my body parts touching the wall or the doors (which I do not like) but outside of that, it was nice.

One of the best things about the hotel is the proximity to everything!! The mall is down the street with lots of stores, there is shopping all around and plenty of places to eat.

It was also wonderfully priced for our stay, as we booked it maybe 15 minutes before arriving!!

Got stuck in an "accessible" room, which meant no sink or mirror in the bathroom. Microwave had a sink next to it, but no mirror. No hand soap or any other amenities. Only one washcloth in a dual queen bed room, no hand towels. Light switches were impossible to find in the dark and were located in strange places. Beds were very comfortable, and the rest of the room was great.

Very clean rooms. Staff was wonderful. Many places to dine within walking distance. When in town I am staying here again.

I was in the area visiting my sister for her baby shower. The hotel is pet friendly so I brought my 15 pound cavapoo. Somehow she decided to lock us out of the room while we were out to dinner. The staff was absolutely wonderful about it and worked through the problem with me. I can't say enough about their level of professionalism and how nice they were even though it was quite an inconvenience for all of us. The hotel was clean, quiet and breakfast was really good. I will always remember this hotel and will definitely go back!!

The staff at reception was superior. Upgrades scheduled in 2024 should address the low light problem in both the sleeping area and in the sitting room.

Room was clean, complete with everything you will need for a night. Pool was small but it looks clean, amazing breakfast selection, they have the best egg scrambled. Good coffee as well, the parking is also great. Friendly staff and nice clean lounge area.

Friendly staff and Fluffy towels, decent breakfast, hand written card for being an elite member. Easy access even for larger trucks. Bonus can also eat within walking distance. Good parking for larger trucks

On a family road trip and just passing through. We were looking for a place to rest our heads for the night. This place is PERFECT for a family. Tried to book a room with 2 queens online but didn't see anything. So we called them to see if they had anything available that we couldn't see. The lady on the phone was super helpful and found us a room. It was a really good rate. I was afraid it was going to be small. When we checked in and entered the roo. It was amazing. There were 2 queen beds plus a trundle couch. The room was also very clean. Highly recommend this place.

I have had the pleasure of staying here a few different occasions for more than 4 days. All staff were extremely helpful, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food staff, grounds . The rooms were larger than most Spinghill suites. The indoor pool was definitely a bonus and it opens at 6AM. Something about after the pool is cleaned, it takes an extremely long time to heat, ( that is how I ended up speaking with maintenance 😊). There were food options for non-dairy milk, and snacks such as granola, cran raisins, sliced almonds, raisins, and fruit- red apples and oranges.

We had an awful night previously in the dirtiest motel I’ve ever stayed in. This hotel was suggested to us. It was amazing! I could tell it had been cleaned and it felt clean. The mattress and pillows very comfortable. It was a very spacious room. Very nice! The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming as well. I even spoke with the cleaning ladies and let them know they were doing a great job!

We stayed at this hotel for one night, as a place to rest our heads before we continue to our destination. It was very quick check in, and our room was clean and fresh. The beds were comfortable, and so was the trundle bed. The layout was good, with enough power outlets to plug in whatever we needed. We had absolutely zero problems with our stay, other than that the breakfast area was crowded in the morning. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a nice and clean place to stay.

The room was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The breakfast was good and offered a lot of variety. What was most exceptional was the staff: the front desk staff and the breakfast attendants were kind, funny, welcoming, and eager to meet our needs. They made our visit very pleasant.

I thought it was a standard property, but what stood out was the cleanliness of the rooms, quality of the place and most importantly, The employees. Every single one. Especially Paris who went very far out of her way to cater to my son and his waffle was THE BEST, Thank you, Paris for everything. We will be back just to say hello and give hugs, your marriott ROCKS

Perfect location with many restaurant choices and shopping, wonderful and very attentive staff, clean rooms with good safety social distancing and cleaning guidelines. I loved that Costco was very close. Overall it was a good stay.
Although the room was clean, the beds were comfortable and a very nice sofa bed, I felt the room was a little small for us as a family of four with two grown teenagers. It's good if you only stay for two or three nights max. But beyond that, it felt small and it didn't have a lot of drawers.
But nothing that the staff could do about it.

Great experience! Both hotel and individual rooms appear to have been recently renovated; very clean and updated. Loved the bathroom and walk-in shower setup. The packets of paper plates and plastic ware were a nice touch (hidden inside of microwave) and much appreciated! Other reviews noted "thin walls" and noise issues but this was not a problem. Either there were no occupants in adjoining rooms or they were pretty quiet. Staff was extraordinarily helpful and pleasant. Will definitely stay again when visiting the area.

The rooms are nice. They have a partially sectioned off area for beds so they are separate from the sitting area. Offering that little bit of privacy. The breakfast has been great, a decent variety of options, and high quality. The indoor pool is great and should you choose to use it the exercise room is kitted out rather well. It's right by a bunch of restaurants and across from some stores.

I enjoyed our stay last night. Wish it was longer! We got a room at a really good price. I was beyond amazed when I walked in! The hotel was beautiful! Our room was so clean and the bathroom is one of the places I pay close attention too and it was so clean! Looked brand new, our whole room looked brand new! The linens smells amazingly clean! The room was just so comfortable! It was pretty quite the whole time we were there. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay was wonderful! We asked for early check in and they got right on our room to get us in a soon as possible! We had a issue with the fridge in the room and the lady at the desk took care of it in less then 30 mins. The breakfast was amazing! So much to choose from! Have to say this is one of the best stays I have had in a while! Definitely will be returning! Thank you!!!
