We are up at App to see our son graduate and have to say the food is really good here and service for our party of 7 went great, definitely recommend. Drinks were great as well.

We were really pleasantly surprised by Basil's! I've lived in Boone for a while and finally had the chance to try it for lunch this weekend.

There aren't a lot of vegetarian options but we got the grilled cheese with tomato soup and a veggie press - absolutely delicious. I'd recommend eating outside and their potato frites with garlic aioli were SO good.

We had a couple of their cocktails (ALL cocktails are $7 on Saturdays), the raspberry coconut margarita was the best I think I've ever had. Definitely give it a try!

Service and food were amazing! We all got pasta, it's made fresh everyday. Will be adding this stop to our annual trip!

Everything was amazing. Best service I’ve ever had. Gorgeous views of the mountains. Everything we tasted was clean, simple, local, perfectly seasoned. Amazing ingredients put together so nicely. Easy, simple, delicious. Not pretentious at all. Chill and lovely. Next time we are in Boone- we will be back!

Went for a dinner date. The server was quick, attentive, and very nice. We had a great time and the food was so good. Cute place and yummy food. We will be back.

Met there with a group of about 12 - 15 people. We had drinks, appetizers, and entrees over about a 2 to 3 hr time frame. The food was really good but the service was a little lacking. Nobody in our party was in a rush to eat but it seemed like the server would come take 1 order and disappear for a while. People had to walk out to the bar to get a drink or find someone to take an order on multiple occasions. Condiments that were ordered with the meal showed up after the food was already eaten. It seemed like the service was run by kids who had no idea what service requires. Again, the food was great, but the staff needs some leadership and training.

Such an awesome spot!! Every time we come to the mountains we have to come here for dinner one night. The food is always delicious and the ambience is nice. And the servers are AMAZING! Tonight we had 3 awesome young men who took care of us. They were super nice and all very attentive!!! There’s nothing that could be better to be honest! If you come to Boone this place is definitely one that you have to try out!! ❤❤

Pretty open dining areas with nice views through glass walls. Food was good, especially I like freshness of the pasta. Healthy eating choices are available here.

We absolutely fell in love with Basil's. It has been on my list for awhile as a place to check out. I am so glad we did! We had had a lackluster dining experience the night before a different restaurant & Basil's completely redeemed the trip culinarily. We ordered bottle service mimosas, a great deal & was more than enough for the 2 of us. I have a feeling that everything on their menu is amazing. But, we ordered the tempeh Banh mi with sweet potato fries & the avocado BLT with chips &a pickle. Both sandwiches were delicious. I cannot choose which one I prefer and I cannot wait to get back to Boone to order those again and try some new ones. And the sweet potato fries were the best I've ever had. My partner doesn't really care for SPF & was hoping to try the eggplant fries, but they were out. I still want to try those, but these sweet potato fries even converted him. They are addictive!
The atmosphere is cozy and stylish. I certainly was not expecting such an upscale (in a good, relaxed way) vibe from a restaurant within a strip mall. They have done wonders with the space. I was very impressed. And the staff was attentive, informative, and conversational. A++ in my book. If you haven't been, definitely add it to your itinerary next time you are in the area.

We loved our pasta dishes and the service was good. Conveniently located across from Boone Mall which is a plus.

My wife and I are here on a getaway weekend. I was looking forward to trying this place out. I was a little disappointed when they informed me they were out of a lot of things but I understand that times are a little different now. But I ended up with the Spaghetti and Meatballs and my wife had the Shrimp Cabonara. We also had the Brussel Sprouts for our app. They were delicious!!! Best I’ve ever had at a restaurant! The cocktails were very good as well. I would recommend this place if your looking for some good Italian food in Boone.

My mom came to town and I needed a nice place to take her for dinner and this was the perfect spot! Kaylynn made our experience so nice and she even made us the BEST cocktails and made the best recommendations for appetizers and food! Everything was perfect!

Whoa! This food was off the chain and the portion sizes were…gigantic. From sandwiches to pasta to salad to soup, there wasn’t a bad thing that I tasted. Cap all of this off with great service and you’ve got Basil’s of Boone. Thanks for the great experience! We’ll be back!

Really fresh & tasty. Casual & comfortable. Plenty of space & arcade games if your chilling & having drinks. I enjoyed the atmosphere on my lunch break.

Hands down best spot for sandwiches in Boone. You can’t go wrong with the “Naptime” and a side of chips. The salads are also on point. They are partnered with Booneshine Brewery and thus have an awesome selection of taps.

We went for brunch and had Anne as our server - she was great! Food and beverages were amazing, highly recommend!

i love basils. the bruschetta is my favorite thing ever, i get it every time i go. all the pastas and sandwiches are great but i love the chicken alfredo so much! The last time i was there our wonderful waitress Anabelle suggested the chocolate martini and it was so delicious, now i have another reason to keep coming back! everyone who works there is so nice and respectful, you can’t go wrong eating at basils.

Ordered the goat cheese & pancetta salad. *hand clap *That salad was AWESOME. The dressing tied in so well with all the heavy flavors on top. Really one of the top salads I’ve ever had. Bravo!
