It's definitely a gem to be found, and there's a reason it's been open for such a long time! My first and only visit was extraordinary! I will never forget this sandwich. I do believe I will indeed go back a 2nd time and try more food!

Prices are great, but the workers are the real heroes. Be sure to tip them because without them, there is no Thunder cloud!

New favorite Thundercloud in ATX... & be sure to place your order in advance, too (I ordered online which is a lot easier than phone especially with multiple toppings, sandwiches, group orders etc.) and you will have the best experience, because this place is popular and quick to dip off to for a meal. If you want to be able to come and go even more easily, this is the most convenient route. The staff are super friendly and made me laugh after a long day. Thanks, T-Cloud! We'll be back soon.

Overall a great place, always a refreshing sandwhich and Julie is awesome. Always so nice and on top of things.

Been going to Thunderclouds since the 80's. One of my all time favorite subs there is the club. Can't go wrong. I do miss the hot roast beef they used to serve many moons ago. I'm almost 60 years old. ha

The best ham and cheese subs i've had in a long time

This place was busy, it usually is. But the staff works with efficiency and is very fast at processing your orders. The meal was delicious and so bulky(the meats and other ingredients) it had everything you ever dreamed and wanted in a sub.

I could probably eat ThunderCloud every day.. I sure missed it living in north Texas for 3 years. This is the location my family and I would visit as a kid and still today it never disappoints

Went to this location today for the first time, been going to thunder cloud for years though. The blonde lady who helped me today sorry didn’t get her name, she was very nice and sooo quick! California club and corn and green chili soup was delicious!

It's ThunderCloud Subs! You don't come here for gourmet; you come here for a fresh sandwich made the way you want it with very basic ingredients. You control what you get so it's always made the way you want it. Place is a great down home original that I think can be enjoyed by anyone and should be given a try!

This place may not look like much on the outside but the inside was very clean. The staff was very kind and attentive to your order making it exactly how you request it. As basic as it is you just can't beat it! Love seeing these places still around after all these years!

Service was great and attentive. Asked the right questions to get my Cali Sub made the way I like. Been eat this sandwich for years. Just love it.

I’m probably what most people would call a “regular” at Thundercloud. I enjoy the food and its healthy. My favorite store is the Thundercloud on the corner of Ranch Road 620 and 2222. There’s one particular employee that shines amongst all of them and her name is Juanita. If you run into her and ask her how she’s doing she will always tell you she’s doing fantastic. If you get a chance to talk to her you will see her attitude is always consistently positive and this rubs off on others. She happens to know my sandwich by heart which is nice but she doesn’t just throw the ingredients together. She takes enough time to make it look and taste delicious. I own a business myself that deals with the public and I can tell you it’s employees like Juanita that really make the business successful and create an incredible customer experience which makes us want to come back. I would love to steal her from my business😂. Highly recommend.

Love their Veggie sandwiches. Best place to have a fresh sandwich. I did not like their Nada Chicken sandwich though. But what ever is served there is fresh and tasty. You should also try their soups. One of the best soups. Love eating there.

This location can be a little busy. So the sandwiches they make are slightly less pretty to look at, but that doesn't make them taste any less delicious. The staff is friendly enough if sometimes a bit hurried. Overall very good like all Thundercloud subs.

It's a little hard to access and park my giant van there, but otherwise this is one of the best Thunderclouds in town. Only rivaled by the Lakeline location because they have a sandwich savant there

I love this place! It was the original sub shop in the area 14 years ago. It's so fresh and good every time. The soup is also good for being a sub shop. The people are all really nice, parking is tricky at times, but it's a nice reminder of the lake area back in the day.

I love this place! No waiting, and you direct the assembly of your sandwich while it’s being done. There are endless options for meats, and all sorts of lettuce and trimmings. Servers are expert and super quick. Prices are very reasonable, too.

Thundercloud Subs always delivers a solid meal at a great price! A true Austin original with quirky workers and patrons too. They don’t try to hard and Have curated an effortlessly cool atmosphere.

They offer gluten free bread that ain’t half bad. I highly suggest the office favorite(egg salad and bacon) or the big paul (piled high with cold cuts!)

This location in particular location always brings their A game. During the lunch hour rush they are efficient and friendly. Be sure to give em the praise and tips they deserve.

I have been a customer for years today I went in at 6:20 highway and a trainee a person who was being first day or I guess made me the best sandwich I've ever had from them I'm very impressed she needs to be recognized that she's doing a great standing job hooray I got a perfect and very delicious sandwich exactly the way I want it I'm in contact them and have her know that I appreciate the effort if she puts in congratulations
