Highland House

Thank you, John for the exceptional service!! We, as a family don't dine out so much because we all cook really well. The food was delicious, we all ordered totally different menu option. What made it awesome, was our server, John! Very attentive, funny & professional! Thank you, Sir for the great service! As we all know, great service is hard to come by!! You made our experience amazing!!

Excellent food, service & atmosphere. Tony was very friendly and quick. I truly enjoyed myself. We had BBQ ribs &chicken, minestrone soup, chicken Alfredo, steak, baked and mashed sweet potato, salad. Portions were generous. Everyone enjoyed their meal. 5 stars

12/2023 update. Did catering carry out for a surprise birthday party and all the food huge hit. Mostaccioli, bread sticks, chicken wings, Greek salad.

11/7/23 update. Family birthday dinner. Food was all great. Cannot beat the price for amount of food you get.

8/10/23 update. Stopped for lunch. Breadsticks were delicious, Greek side salad yummy, and Mostaccioli sooooo good!!

Sorry for no pics of our food. I have been going to Highland House since my childhood and have nostalgia over the original restaurant. Our service was good and the breadsticks and Greek salad are still unbeatable and have stood the rest of time. I am not sure if it was my fond memories of the cuisine that did not hold true or just an off day for the cooks but our meals were disappointing. The whole chicken was over cooked and dry, the fish and chips were good but nothing special and the lasagna was nothing like we remembered - again over cooked, dry and minimal sauce. We were all disappointed. So why 4 stars!? Because this was one meal out of many before that were excellent and I would like to chalk this one up as the exception.

Great meal, excellent service by Dan! We were happy to see he was our server again! He truly understands how to take care of the hungry customers and even made a great custom drink for our kiddo, the Dan special. A perfect employee to have in my opinion.
Our only little suggestion would be for the restaurant to somehow change how their ice cubes are made. The well water taste was really strong in our pops. Other than that, we will be back to try other dishes soon.

Love their breadsticks!!! Today, while visiting we their breadsticks, chili, turkey sandwich, and fish and chips. I also ordered an Irish coffee bc I was in need of some caffeine with a kick. As always, the service, atmosphere and food at Highland House are FIVE stars!!

Amazing! The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and the space had music, but it wasn't too loud so we could still talk. The menu options were phenomenal as well. Highly recommend going here!

Got the lamb burger as a bowl and a side of coleslaw instead of fries.... lower carb and still delish!!! The hardest part was staying away from the breadsticks!!! They smelled sooo good, but I took them home to my kids.

Wanted to send a quick message picked up a carryout for one of my customers today at noon and there was a young man behind the counter. Who’s been there several times in my last visits usually on Friday afternoons. I think his name is Alex. Kudos to whoever raise that kid and kudos to whoever hired him. My order has been perfect. Every single time he’s been there and I even when I took it to the doctors office today, they commented on how professional the guy who answered the telephone, was how he repeated their order was proficient and super fast, don’t often give those kind of reviews, but I thought I would give a review for somebody that definitely is a asset to your Business.

Husband had lasagna and felt it was definitely one of the best he had ever had. I had grilled pork chops that were very good, but a little dry. Possibly if I had had them roasted, another choice, they would have been more moist. Salads were huge and delicious!!! Love this place!!!

A lifelong establishment of which I always plan to return, and nonetheless a staple in this lakes area! Nikki was extremely sweet and provided exceptional service today, while the breadsticks are still the best in town! Highly recommended!

So good. What can I say. Had the Shrimp, scallop pasta. Lots of seafood. Real scallops. Salad great. Breadsticks to die for. I hear their pizza is superb. I consider it but always get a dinner. Try the pizza for me. The hostess saw how much trouble I have walking and sat me in a close booth. That was considerate. You can't go wrong. I wish they were closer!

First time there, and Nikki took great care of us. She was fantastic! Gave us suggestions, was helpful and attentive. Very friendly and just made our dinner with friends perfect. The food was plentiful and delicious. We will definitely be back for more. Bon Appétit.

The menu had a great selection even though it wasn't an extensive one. The service was great. I couldn't believe how busy it was on a Thursday night but my young son and I didn't have to wait too long for a table. It's busy but the tables are placed a nice ways away from each other so it feels more private. Never went to the old one but the new place is very nice.

Overall seems like a well oiled establishment. We had a party of 9 and only waited 25 minutes to be seated on a Saturday night around 7pm. Our waitress was friendly, quick, and efficient. Food tasted great and came at a reasonable amount of time. Draft menu was good. Bathrooms were clean. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a restaurant with larger parties. I ordered the chicken alfredo that came with a salad.

First and foremost my mother was pleased with this place so it automatically gets five stars in my book.

The staff was very friendly upon my parents and I entering. I Love how spacious the place is. We were sat at a booth for the three of us and it was awesome. We each had ample room and did not have to squeeze in and feel boxed in. I love how open the place is and how much room there was. I can not say enough how cool that is.

I ordered their lamb burger and it was delicious!!! I can be wordy about it but simply enough it was delicious!!!

My parents got ribs for two and with their salad and that was delicious. My parents were pleased so I was happy. The salad was fresh and that counts for a lot!!!

Their bread sticks are phenomenal. I could live off that every morning if I had to!!!

Last but definitely not least is the service. From when we entered till when we left, my mother felt respected and her needs were attended to. She commented on how great the service was and how she really liked that we went there to eat. It was our first time there.

Our servers name was Megan. She did an absolutely phenomenal job in taking care of us. She made my mother's experience worthwhile and I cannot express how grateful I am for that.

BEST SERVICE ever! The hostess could have been more helpful however our server TONY was amazing! Food was great. Definitely coming back and sitting in Tony’s section.

Tim was our server today of a group event of 17 women, who all wanted separate checks. He did an outstanding job, and was very patient! Everyone had a good time and enjoyed the food.

We've been twice now to Highland House with a group of 5 or more people. The food is always delicious (especially the bread sticks, I'm told). And, the service has been exceptional. It's a nice clean place that feels welcoming, and we'll be back again.

Such an enjoyable and wonderful dining experience tonight. Our server, Lesley was incredible! So genuine, warm, personable, and conscientious. All the best traits for impeccable service. The owner, Gus sat with us and chatted for a few moments. So nice to see a devoted owner with passion for his business. My all time favorite is the Apple Orchard Salad. Love it.... Always fresh and delicious! Thank you for a fantastic dinner.... see you soon!

The food here is always amazing. Sometimes you have a wait, but that’s a testament to the great food. The only negative thing I can say about this place is don’t drink the water. Been there several times and I order bottled drinks only because it’s so bad.
