Lunds & Byerlys Glen Lake Minnetonka

Cute little lunds convenient for smaller shopping trips. Staff is nice. I don't believe they have self checkouts which is frustrating, but still happy to go here if I need something and am in the area.

First shout out to the veteran union guy I shook hands with coming out of store room with a smile and greeting. I started shopping for my mommy at Hove's in Edina. Chanhassen is my regular.

Excelsior Blvd is our highway to perfect merchants and... our daughter. Today was Center Drug Hopkins... best in all the land then back to Chan. But we couldn't make it. Restroom stop required. Glen Lake L&B has a masterpiece set up. I sense that Glen Lake has older customers like me who know exactly what they want. Yes they are better at that than Chanhassen.

Of course, every L&B I spoke with was super including the man in produce who let me get just the right amount of Brussels sprouts. Allisa introduced me to Gen Mgr Chuck Dahlmeir, and Gavin delivered our order to my vehicle. Deluxe plus!

Yes I have utilized Eden Prairie, St. Louis Park and Edina too.

thanks to Allisa who suggested baking the margarita pizza in the container it comes with. Incredible, about $19 and worth it.

Super nice store and friendly staff. Really like the team they have running the place lately. Stopping in is always a positive experience. Especially when employees are sharing samples of their homemade chili. So good! Too bad it was only promoting the recipe, all in store ingredients. I would have bought a large cup for sure. Had to resist running off with her crock pot. Great job L&B!!

Great store, they have a really nice selection of produce and I always walk around to see what's new. But remember Lunds/Byerlys is a high end grocery store. The prices are pretty high, I only get specific things here. I love Lunds though, had one near me growing up so I kind of have an emotional attachment to them!!

Never had issues really nice, I'm very happy to shop. They're a little pricey in my opinion, but for me its more convenient. Due to it being closer, so I don't mind. Their deli area or whatever its called is amazing I love the food amd the sushi is awesome most stores don't have great sushi but theirs are really good.

Small byerlys that has pretty much everything you need in a tidy space. Quicker to visit than nearby Eden Prairie though it's selection isn't as good of course.

I just grabbed a small jug of chocolate milk there for lunch, but it's a high end grocery store, tastefully decorated with quality food.

Small but well appointed. Helpful, friendly staff. Always consistent - good quality and quite decent selection for a smaller store. Recommended!

Update Jul 2023: still good!

Great customer service and very friendly staff! Stopped in today for a few things and noticed the General Manager stepping into a couple departments to help in the short time I was there. She also was the one to check me out and had a great conversation with her. In a former life, I worked in food distribution and have met many different store general managers and typically haven't had great experiences. Kudos to you and this quaint location!

Byerlys is great. Always kept clean, never a mess or clutter in the isles. It's a premium grocery store so if you plan on buying your weeks worth of food, you will pay a premium price for the food. Ryan

Very nice staff. Whether management encourages friendly interaction, or they are naturals, it is very pleasant. Nice sized store, may not get my Fitbit steps in, but they seem to have everything I need. Wonderful meat department.

I love having a Lunds/Byerlys nearby. It's smaller than other Byerlys but still has a wide selection incl. Deli, (Attended) Meat Dept., Great produce, flowers, Ready to eat foods, Bakery plus greeting cards and health goods on top of groceries. Plus helpful employees.

If I could rate this Lunds with 10 stars I would. It's always clean, stocked, and employees are SO kind. I typically pick up sushi, salad or soup for lunch and it never disappoints. Thank you all for working, Lund's employees!!

Great little neighborhood location and while it doesn't have as much stuff as other locations it still has great produce, butcher, and deli.
Update 2023: still a really great local grocery store that I enjoy going to for quick and specialty things. More organic and healthy items than cub/target.

This a quaint little community in glen lake where Lunds/Byerlys purchased an existing store and improved it to the companies standards. Well maintained and great quality of produce and meats. Lunds/Byerlys is slightly more expensive but this is due to their standards of quality. Staff is polite and helpful. Store has good selection and is clean. The bag persons are great if you cant carry to car yourself.
