great bagel and flat sandwiches for a great price, good ice cream selection, lots of other things in shop too like candy, prepackaged snacks & salads, merchandise etc.
great place to get stuff when you're at sandy beach or out on a nice walk.
- Hours don't seem to be updated on google for summer (8-11/3-5) It seems they are open all day with no middle break.

Always a fun place to stop by at and Visit. It is a core memory of my childhood when I'd visit my Grandparents and still to this day brings me joy to visit! If you have the time definitely is worth the visit!

Take a step back in time! Everything you'd want (and more?) from a local convenience and gift shop, but with that historical old-school flair. Just a delight!

Lovely place. Actually quite historic. Cute gals running the place. They had quite a few number of nice treats small packaged food other things that they would make. Fresh coffee. And two or three places to sit outside without your mask on. Enjoyed that immensely

GET THE PESTO CHICKEN FLAT BREAD, SO GOOD! The staff was young, but so fun and so sweet. They were great to chat with. I enjoyed my time there. They also have cheap candy.

A throwback to the way things should be. Big selection of ice cream and snacks in a historic building with an ancient cooler that is still operational. Kudos to the community for keeping this place going for 126 years.

Quaint little souvenir, sandwich and coffee shop nestled amongst a green glen of upscale housing of the lake side dwellers of Minnetonka.

I took the BLT lunch with me to a picnic it was satisfying and delicious.

The souvenirs are centered around the nautical theme of nearby lake. They had various sizes of aluminum canoe shaped tubs for gardening purposes, weathered wood oars and signs, sweatshirts and more.

The cottage wood general store is housed in a weathered Victorian house with a porch for sitting. Inside they have seating for about 6 - 8 people.

I believe the store closes for the winter, but I love visiting anyway. Today I posted my letter to Santa from their convenient mailbox. I will return again soon.

Hidden gem, and the store's been there forever. Picked up food here with a friend and enjoyed the experience.

Love it! It has been there forever. I used to walk there from my grandparents house 50 years ago! Such memories. Visited again about 5 years ago!
