These folks are why I keep coming back to their store. They know their wine, and have been so upbeat and helpful every time I walk in! I had to purchase wine for a gathering we were having after my mother’s funeral, and they were there for me - even giving me their sympathies for our loss. Love this place.

Dan and Tanya, husband and wife owners of Glen Lake Wine & Spirits are two of the hardest working business owners in Glen Lake. Dan always gives me straight answers to my questions and has extensive knowledge of all of his products, especially wine. Their staff is friendly and efficient.

Great locally owned shop with friendly staff and good tunes. Skip the big box place and spend ur hard earned dollars in the neighborhood.

The staff and selection are the major strengths. The owner and long term employees are all super friendly.

They have a specific Riesling I cannot find anywhere else that my wife loves (blue bottle with yellow label, upper right shelf by the door). I am slowly working my way through their vodka and whiskey selections. Their prices are comparable to MGM.

The craft beer is where they shine. First of all, their prices beat MGM. Second, they know all about them and have actually tried them, unlike say, MGM. Third, the selection is fabulous.

There was an unfortunate incident a few years ago when I pulled a six pack of Fulton bottles from the bottom shelf, and a bottle fell out and broke. They said don’t worry about it and would not let me pay for the damage. I still feel terrible about that.

You can also order cases of beer and wine, which I have done over the years, like Surly and that Riesling I mentioned.

Interior is also very nice. Parking easy.

The only reason I keep bringing up MGM is their hours. For whatever reason, they are closed when friends come over or we are headed home after something during the week.

Seriously the best liquor store in the area. Always friendly, always great advice on wine, and a good beer selection.

They must be the friendliest and most helpful liquor store around. Been going there for over 3 decades.

Fun little bottle shop. There is usually a good selection of craft beer and a cooler right by the door with the discount single cans and bottles.

The store manager is also an author! They special ordered Bols genever for us too.

Friendly, well-organised wine shop with some interesting bottles (smaller producers, independent companies, etc) along with the big international brands.

Local, well stocked, friendly crew, convenient. Always enjoy going here.
