Super excellent park. Clean and tons of fun for 0-10. Semi enclosed so it keeps your kids close and has lots to offer! Indoor bathrooms and concession stand, dog friendly.

The playground area was huge! I loved all the variety and sizes of equipment to include all abilities. The walking trails and grass areas were well kept. The trees looked gorgeous!! Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

A very streamlined process to park, shuttle, purchase lift tickets, and rent and return equipment. Rental staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and innovative. The ski instructors are top notch too. I'm a first-time skier in my mid-thirties. They taught me the basics, which helped to build the confidence I need to take a ski trip to Lutsen in March. Hyland is very affordable and offers approachable hills; requires some patience on busy days.

The kids, ages 9-14, had a blast! They climbed rope ladders and webs, swung on swings, and created games inspired by the fun surroundings. Interestingly, they didn't go on any of the slides. Oh well. They still asked to come again when we left. There are several areas for kids to play in: one section of netted tubes and climbing platforms with slides, a large playground with multiple long and twisty slides, a smaller playground for young kids, a little playground in the sand for babies and toddlers, a large spider web rope tower, a set of tire swings, an enclosed maze of tunnels and nets, twirly chairs, and even a spongy foam hill to jump from. (Most of the flooring in the playground is spongy foam, but sections of it are wood chip.) There are lots of options for seating, from benches to tables, covered and uncovered. Oh, and there is a little section of misters to cool the kids off on hot days. For being misters, they really get the kids wet, so bring a towel or have them come in their swimsuits. The whole playground is fenced in, but there are a lot of areas to play in, so you may be on your feet a lot to keep track of who's where. Enjoy!

Came here during the summer with the family and we had an amazing time. We decided to come during the week so it wasn’t so busy. They have areas with picnic tables and we hung out there for lunch. The best part? The lake! They even have rentals for canoes and paddle boats, which we ended up renting both. The worst part? Some areas of the park were a little dirty but honestly nothing too bad. We would go back for sure.

What a fantastic play area. Something, and not just one, for all the age groups. I was able to bring my 5 kids here and they had a blast for a few hours.

It does get crowded, so you'll need to be fine with that

This is a gem of a park. The playground is a kids dream! There is a beautiful trail that circles the lovely lake. You can rent paddle boats and circle the lake or stop on the island in the middle of the lake and explore. In the summer, there are plenty of Picnic benches, bbq grills, and even rental pavilions to host fun functions. In the winter, this area is known for its cross-country ski trails. One can get lessons and rentals at the chalet.

Great walk today around Hyland Lake Park. Had a couple of residents watching the Hoo-maan walk around. Also found that the place was still here to continue to conteplate the meaning of life.

Great park! I thought that it might not be good for littler kids but all 3 of my kids loved, 5, 3 and 1 years old. I like that there's only one way to get in and out of the playground area. Beautiful area too.

We camped at the group campsite over night with my son's class. It was great. There was plenty of space! It was quite tidy. We enjoyed the firewood provided and had a delightful overnight trip.

Great family park. The Nature Center had a lot to do for both children and adults. There were leaning activities, birds of prey to watch, an animal viewing area and reading stations. As well as, outside firepit and picnic areas. The hiking was lovely. Trails were nicely groomed and well marked. YouI have the option of both paved and unpaved trails for hiking. Biking is limited to the paved trail.

This place is a blast! It's a really fun play area that your kids will love. It's a huge play area with all kinds of things for all ages. There's an area for small children, as well as climbing nets, monkey bars, rock climbing, and slides for older children. There's also a spot with water misters, so good idea to plan for your kids to get a little wet. While there is plenty of seating and shade around the perimeter of the play area, you can easily run out of spots during peak hours. There's nearby concessions, indoor restrooms, and water fountain, which is very convenient.

Took my kids with other families to Hyland park, playground and to the lake where we rented the Paddleboats. It was fun day for all, kids and adults, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Very cool place. The trails are in great condition and the hike was easy to do with a 2 and 4 year old. The trails also have many switchbacks so if you need to cut it short you can.

This place is amazing for kids to just run and have fun. One entrance in and out, indoor bathrooms for use in the main building, small kids play areas as well as older kids play areas. I used to come here as a kid, happy to see this place is still up and running.

Lots of parks around here. Bush Lake Beach has a small playground and umbrellas for the beach. Nearby is the Chutes and Ladders park. Many trails, so there are people walking, biking, running, and taking dogs for walks.
