Strawberry Banke Antique and Vintage Shop

We absolutely loved visiting this living history museum, many buildings over 300 years old. It was unbelievable!

The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, the restrooms in the Visitor's Center were nice and clean. It was a very reasonable admission price for the experience.

This is a wonderful place for families and children too. We loved Charles, an older gentleman, who was at one of the houses to explain the history to guests. He was extremely knowledgeable, very impressive! There were several other staff, whose names escape me, who were also very knowledgeable.

Great selection, shop owner was very friendly and welcoming. Prices were fair on all the items as well. Bought one thing while I was there. I will definitely be returning.

Great selection, friendly owner who went above and beyond when I went back to his store to get help opening the item I bought from him a few days prior! It is a must visit the next time you're in the Strawberry Banke area of Portsmouth!

Wonderful reasonably priced vintage finds of all kinds! Today I purchased a great light jacket with a mink collar. The texture is impeccable.

Awesome little spot! If you love history, then this is definitely worth stopping in and taking a look at the many fascinating pieces in here. They have some really well preserved vintage clothes that were really cool to look through, but also many unusual items to do with local history. My husband and I stopped in after exploring the town, and got a lovely little pendant for a very reasonable price, and had some friendly conversation with the owner as well, who made us feel very at home. Sometimes locals can be kind of defensive around travelers, but the shopkeeper was super nice and inquisitive, and really was just a pleasure to interact with. The shop was easy to navigate, and was quite service dog friendly. Cheers for running such a lovely shop!

My first trip to New England and I wanted a special momento of the trip. Strawberry Banke Antiques was delightful. David was very helpful, and willing to negotiate a better price on a captain's writing desk. I am so enamored by this antique piece of New England history. In addition, I purchased a glass negative. Can anyone give me information about the lighthouse please?

First time in. Within 5 minutes I found a few things to purchase. Large assortment of items from jewelry, clothing, comics, and more. Owner is very nice as well.
