Had the Sophia Loren pizza on the jersey style crust. It was incredible. The garlic fennel sausage is amazing. Nice thin crust (they make their own crust and use their own yeast starter), perfectly cooked. The service was great. I can't wait to eat here again!

Love the concept of a small market and pizza by the slice at Sapori, as I'm not aware of any similar options in the Springfield area. Tried a slice of cheese pizza which was pretty flavorful. Also tried meatballs, which were perfectly seasoned and delicious. I did not realize how popular this place is around lunch time, and the dining area is pretty small for the amount of business they seem to receive. They do offer outdoor seating, but a larger indoor dining area would do this business justice. Food was very good and I will be back to try the gelato.

I have been here 3 times in the last 2 months and cannot stop raving about it to people. I’ve tried the Sophia Loren, the Formaggi, and the Michigan Avenue and enjoyed all three. The Sophia Loren however dominates with the combo of sweet ricotta and spicy calabrese drizzle. This is a pretty popular place with limited seating inside. Almost every time I have been (twice for dinner once for lunch) it has been busy and we’ve just narrowly managed to secure a table. While it is pricey for pizza, it is definitely worth it.

Best pizza in Springfield! Was really busy Friday night but still got a table and quick service. My partner & I split the New Jersey style Sofia Loren and it changed my life. We finished the whole thing!

The negative is also that we finished the whole thing! Pizza was a little expensive, but worth it for the occasional date night.

It was truly an experience. It is a little different. You stand in line and order to include your drinks. Then you wait for your pizza. But it is worth it. The pizza was crispy and perfect. But what I liked is their selection. You can order "american" style or off the wall. But it gets better. The wall has so so so many pizza products it's unbelievable! From what I saw, they have four different pizza flours (which are different than just flour). But so many other products it would take forever to list. Will be going back. And since I love pizza so much, I will try their products I didn't even know existed!!!

Absolutely fantastic! Pizza 🍕 and meatballs were remarkable and the service was top notch! Cookies, cannolis and tiramisu were the perfect sweet treat to top it off (yep we tried all three!) Excited to have this little Italian restaurant in town! Best pizza in town!

A great new family owned option here in Springfield, which we are lucky to have. I popped in this morning to buy some Italian food items that can’t be found anywhere else in the area. My favorites are the house made frozen and refrigerated items (pizza, tortellini, sauce, etc.). I also like the wide assortments of specialty pastas and small production olive oils. At check I had a few minutes with the owner, very nice. I look forward to returning for lunch.

Best pizza in town. Hands down. Excellent service and very friendly staff. If you are unsure what to get, just grab a slice of their specialty slice. Highly recommend this place

Fantastic pizza, probably the best and definitely the most authentic pizza in the Springfield area. If only they had a bigger dine-in space, feels like a gamble that you'll actually get a table or not if you go during a busy time but the restaurant does have a real Italian feel to it. Next time we'll probably just do carryout though.

I had never been to Sapori before last weekend, and I can't believe it took .e this long to check the place out. My wife and I had a Sophia Loren for dinner, and it was amazing. I can't figure out if the dining area is smaller than average, or they were just that busy, or if it's a combination of the two, but the place does seem to fill up pretty fast so get there early. It's worth the wait if you have to stick around, though.

Sweet little shop, inviting atmosphere. And the food is delicious! The Sofia Loren is exceptional. The meatball sub ridiculously good and get a house salad. Desserts…yes, you want cannoli, a slice of lemon cake and take the cream cake home to have with a coffee. Wonderful from start to finish.

Might just be one of the best pizzas I've ever had, the Sofia Loren is a 10/10 hidden gem. The atmosphere inside is super nice, they just need a better way for people to order food ahead

Hands down, the best pizza in town! Having grown up in an Italian family, I've been missing excellent quality, authentic Italian & pizza for the 15+ years I've lived here. Sapori hits the mark! The jersey-style crust had a perfect crunch, the cheesy garlic bread was good, and the cannoli & salted caramel gelato were delicious. Staff was friendly & helpful, as well. Can't wait to return & try more menu items! I also love the little Italian market that reminds of the Little Italy shops I used to go to as a child with my grandmother. We'll definitely be back!!!

Food is great and the space is very cool, if a bit cramped (the market isn't really a market, though some of the stuff they sell is interesting).

Don't trust the online menu and don't expect a wide array of pasta. I did get the one pasta dish available (baked mostaccioli) and it was delicious. I was disappointed there wasn't Alfredo (mentioned online) or lasagna (in store menu) available, but I enjoyed what I had. The bread was dynamite and we bought a loaf to take home with us. There was come confusion with the wait staff about what our order came with, but management cleared it up and all was good in the end.

The pizza seems like a better bet than the pasta and we'll be trying that when we come back.

My family and I went last Saturday night. The place was understandably busy as most new places can be. The staff was wonderful and were quick to let us know that we could expect a wait due to the volume of patrons that night. No big deal. I ordered a beer and checked out the unique market while I waited. The food did not disappoint. We ordered the Sofia Loren New Jersey style and it blew me away. No place in town even compares. It's 1 of 1. I can't wait to go back and try other things.

The pizza was amazing! I had the Sofia Loren by the slice and it was one of the best slices I’ve ever had they heat it up and finish the toppings so it’s fresh! Really cute inside with a nice atmosphere.

Concensus in my home is that this is the best pizza in Springfield. My teenagers eat a lot. At first look, I was afraid 2 pizzas wasn't enough. I was absolutely wrong. This pizza is fantastic and filling. My only somewhat negative comment is that the jalapeños were not even remotely spicy. Because it's also a market, it feels a little crowded, which makes me claustrophobic. My son didn't feel that way at all. I absolutely recommend this place to everyone. There is an option for by the slice purchasing which is faster. I'll order ahead next time and pick it up.

First time going, and I can easily say that it's the best pizza I've had in Springfield. I ordered the Sophia Loren and a margarita with a Italian beef. All of it was great

The smell reminds us of John Viviano's grocery on the Hill in St Louis. Friendly owner. Good pizza. Very busy. Probably early arrival or off hours for more peaceful experience.
