I shop at Schnucks when I am in Springfield. I really like all the selections of groceries they have, especially the healthy whole grain cereals, gluten-free items, and fruits and vegetables. They may be a bit more expensive in prices, but overall, it's completely worth it! The only thing that could be updated is the self checkout machines. The automated voice telling you to put your items in the bag and when you do, it does not always recognize that you did, and then begins to repeat the request over and over and it doesn't allow you to continue, until the employee managing the area touches a button to reset it. It takes far too long and slows down the self checkout experience.

I like shopping at schnucks. They always have their shelves stocked even when it's a sale item.

The Schnucks in Montvale Plaza is my "go to" place for my shopping needs. The meat department is my favorite in Springfield. I know a couple fellas who work there so I'm never concerned about the cleanliness. My favorite thing to get is the Malibu seasoned kabobs. The Boars Head tavern ham in the deli department is a must as well. Prices are reasonable. Store is always clean. Staff has always been super friendly. Overall a great place to shop.

Yesterday was our 17th wedding anniversary and I had these flowers sent to my wife. I've been ordering flowers from this store for years now and I have never not been pleased. Kathy in Floral ALWAYS does a wonderful job for me. I ordered some "just because" flowers for my wife a few weeks back (you know the old saying "Happy Wife, Happy Life") and my wife was so happy with them she talked about them for a week. Thank you Kathy in Floral for always doing such an awesome job.

Always great best selection. Now the service some people need to retire when you don't enjoy your job anymore it's time to go. You know who you are angry lady at the checkout. Be nice or stay home.

This store has everything you could possibly want, love the bakery and staff, excellent meat selection and helpful butcher. The pharmacy staff courteous. The store's new checkout system and courteous checkers speeds up exiting.

A Well Stocked Grocery Store. Prices can be high but there is Quality Here. The Vegie Area was Clean and Fully Stocked. The Bakery had an abundance of Tasty Treats. The Deli had a line of Customers which tells me they have a Great Deli Selection. The Meat Dept was Outstanding. Store Employees were very helpful and scooters were Fully Charged even on a Saturday.

I usually shop at a different chain, and was pleasantly surprised at how helpful the customers at Schnucks Montvale were with people who were elderly or disabled. I observed several people offering to reach items for others. Employees were also easy to find and helpful when I had trouble locating things. The prices are a little higher than some other stores, but they offer a wider range of products that aren't found in the other stores.

Store was clean, shelves well stocked and staff were friendly. Will visit again!

This is one of my favorite grocery stores in Springfield. It has a lot of items and is always clean and organized. It is rarely super busy so it's usually quick and easy to check out.

I was there today and was wanting some whitening fish. They cook the fish for you while you shop or you can call ahead also. The lady who helped me only had the ones that was frozen. She was beyond sweet😊she did the steps necessary where I was able to take it home deep fried and it was some of the best fish I ever had. There is also an older taller gentleman that works behind the meat counter and he's absolutely excellent. Highly recommend shopping there before anywhere else.❤👌
