Wyndham Springfield City Centre

We stayed here one night and we had trouble with the heat in the first room but the staff were so quick to help and try to fix it and when they couldn’t they immediately moved us to another room. They were so nice the only problem was the whole building was very cold but it was very cold outside so I won’t hold that against them too much. Overall I would recommend.

I loved it here! The rooms are clean and huge. We had a fridge and microwave and a really nice view from the tenth floor. I throughly enjoyed that you could leave the room and walk right into the Starbucks without even leaving the hotel! And I noticed that they have a hair salon there which I'm sure is for weddings mostly but could be really convenient for other events! I did get to peek at some of their banquet rooms and they're huge! I'd consider holding an event here! It is also right next to Lincoln's home. You can walk there! It takes maybe around 5 minutes! It's right in the middle of everything! Overall, a decent room at a decent price!

The first night of my stay, I fell in the restaurant and hit my head. My server Tara quickly got ice for my head and called security. Devon and another gentleman responded immediately, helped me up and informed me that EMS was already en route. I spent the evening in the ER and returned to the hotel after midnight. The next day Devon sought me out to check on me, which I consider above and beyond his duties.

I would also like to add that the hotel is by far the cleanest one I have stayed at in years. The common areas are all easily accessible for disabled people, and I was overjoyed to be able to access everything so easily with my walker. The room itself was clean, well stocked with essentials and comfortable. I spent a lot of time in my room recovering from my fall and was very thankful that the bed and chair were so comfortable.

Every staff member I encountered was knowledgeable, welcoming, respectful and kind. If I find myself in the Springfield area again, I will definitely be staying here.

Our first stay was so nice, we didn’t hesitate staying here a second time and the experience was even better. Once again from check in, to check out all the hospitality was great. The buffet style breakfast was amazing and all the gentlemen working down there provided and unrivaled amount of courtesy! Do yourself a favor and stay here. Sakai get a room way up, the view is impressive!

Towering over the city of Springfield is the Wyndham at City Centre. Check in was simple enough, and the front desk staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. There is an attached parking garage, so parking wasn’t an issue at all. Well lit, and plenty of space even for a big van. It felt very secure and we didn’t need to worry about our vehicle. The lobby was busy with a Knights of Columbus conference, but the hustle and bustle of the event added to the charm of the building. There were some renovations happening in the lobby which was nice to see. The property is dated, but throughout the building there were efforts to update everywhere. This is a huge property and it looked like they were doing a lot to modernize it. This is a big task, and I’m excited to see what they do with the property. Our room was spacious and clean. I really enjoyed being able to look out of our room windows and see the city below. The thermostat was easy to use and the room temperature was easy to get right where I like it, a little on the chilly side. Breakfast was not complimentary. It is served buffet style, and it was a huge spread. You have to buy a ticket for it at the front desk. The pool and fitness center are down on the concourse level. Both the pool and the fitness center are good sized. The fitness center was fully stocked for all your workout needs. I did not swim but the pool area looked very clean and inviting. Thank you to all the staff! We can’t wait to stay again.

Was looking here again since I had my honeymoon here June 15, 1999. Actually sad the waterfall is gone and the pool is still green. We stayed in the Bridal Suite on the 27th floor. Guess we won’t be planning to stay there. Only gave 5 stars because of service we got in 1999.

We were here for an Elks meeting. So this wasn't our first time there. But this was the first time the elevators didn't break!!!! The beds are nice and the heating with it being -12 outside kept the room nice and warm. The hot water in our room... on the 9th floor could have been better. Last 2 years we've been told they were going to be remodeling. But we didn't see anything different or anything new. I had a hamburger in the bar that was really good. It tasted like it was cooked outside on a grill. The white sauce they had over the fries had no taste. The people that worked there were all nice and helpful as always.

Katrina, Junior and Keith were very attentive to guest needs and made everyone feel welcome.

Just finished up a 4 day convention with over 700 attendees and the event could not have been better! Management, Amanda, Gina and Dawn made sure everything was where it should be when it should be and pitched in with their staff to make sure it all happened on our timeline. The chef made fabulous meals served hot and kept track of all the special needs diets involved with so many attendees. The AV people, Bill and Bob, were always there when needed and all our presentations went smoothly because of that. Rooms were clean and everything worked well. I will work with these people anytime!

I had read reviews that the place was tired and a little dirty, so I was nervous about our stay. We had tried to stay at the Hilton, but was booked. Happy to say we had a lovely room on the 28th floor. Bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly! I hate that they don’t have a refrigerator in the room, but I did find out you can request one. All in all, I would stay here again!

So far, very pleased. Highly convenient location. Nice service. Comfortable beds.

Everything about this hotel is top notch! I enjoyed every bit of it! From the banquet hall, to the hospitality room, to the pool. I supremely enjoyed my room. The beds were so soft and so amazingly comfortable , that i didn't want to get out of bed. I love this hotel!!! Highly recommend!!!!

Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms. The pool area was very clean and relaxing and the front desk staff was extremely nice, especially Chris. I also liked the fact the deposit is only $25, which was promptly returned to my card within a business day. The breakfast buffet was delicious with multiple menu items both hot and cold and Starbucks is right on the premises. Great location as well and the view from our upper level room was spectacular! I would stay here again if in the area.

One of the most interesting places I've stayed. From the outside, the building is kind of an eyesore that juts out from the rest of the skyline (it looks like an air traffic control tower), but the staff was nice and I love the location. We asked to be put on a high floor because we thought it would be fun to see Springfield from so much higher up, and they actually put us on the very top floor, which was cool of them.

Very nice "grand old Dom". It has seen better days. But it was clean and beds were comfortable. There were lots of space for a couple of teenagers to explore and a very convenient location. Teens loved the indoor pool.

Excellent value. I reserved upper floor king room. Huge window with fantastic view(west is best, then n & s, then e, I'd venture) Spacious, clean room. Beautiful furniture with great desk. I ordered room service for breakfast. The French toast was delightful and very reasonably priced. Service was exemplary. Parking was reasonably priced and convenient. I can confirm the air conditioning is in tip top order and was in fact cooler than both other hotels I stayed at on this trip (Wyndham St. Charles, MO and Hampton Jacksonville, IL, though both of those were good also) Excellent location!

Stayed downtown for a Route 66 event. The room was a little noisy on the 12th floor. The front desk and others were very friendly.

The rooms were clean, elevators were quick and in good working order which is important for a building of that size. Housekeeping and front desk staff were friendly and eager to help. Breakfast was great, not sure how much the buffet is normally because I had it comped through my company. The restaurant/bar has great food and the bartenders were attentive. All around a fantastic stay!

The rooms are clean and very nice at a great price.

Can't rate the rooms other then the large conference room which accommodated the event we were hosting. Location was a little confusing since I had never been there. But I did figure it out.
