They have nice collections of clothing…
Quality is really good and few of them are on high end.

Staff are very friendly

We were assisted by couple of staff
With our shopping and was very happy.

Handbags, shoes, jewellery, perfume department have wide range of options.

Went in last night to the 3rd floor women's dress department to look for prom dresses for my daughter. There were 3 women working who were literally INVESTED in this with us. They even asked my daughter to come back and show them pictures of her all dressed up. She said they were her hype girls and felt very special. Awesome experience, you don't get that shopping online!

Huge store spread across two floors. Lots of inventory, really big men’s department. Jewelry section is also very impressive, excellent collection, lots of sales. We bought a pair of earrings for 70% discount. Associates are super and do their best to get you the best deal.

Great people. They were in happy moods. I had 15 different gifts to have wrapped and they were helping me shop and having fun. I didn’t get the blonde girls name but she really made my holiday spirit. Thank you blondie.

So I dress rather modestly, & by that I mean I am often confused with DoorDash delivery men when I walk into my apartment building. Not to knock hardworking delivery guys, it's just, I live here. I'm constantly saying, you know me bro! If there were actual security, I'd imagine I'd have gotten denied entry at some point. It doesn't help that my beard is a worse version of Keanu's patchiness in that it just looks bad. So combine that with my daily work clothes & you can see that I'm always in dire need of fashion assistance.

The first time I shopped at Bloomingdales was sometime before COVID. I walked into the store & nervously asked for help. I was fully aware of how disheveled I looked. The griminess radiated off me as I fully expected a Pretty Woman scenario mixed in with a cartoonish act of someone literally kicking me out the front door. To my surprise, a lady immediately smiled at me & said she was of course happy to be of assistance.

I told her I shopped once a decade. It was a slight exaggeration, but not by much. I generally walk into a department store & grab whatever generic items catch my eye & head home. In this case, I had a date, & it was due time for a new wardrobe. I explained this all while smacking the side of my jeans as I tried to secretly smack the dust particles off. I tried my best to ignore it & not cough.

The sales lady kindly guided me through my cloud of soot into each area of the men's section. She picked out button down shirts, fancy jeans, & a leather jacket. She encouraged me to try them on & I did, feeling immediately like James Dean. That's when I started to realize why people shop. It felt really cool. I felt better about everything, except for the fact that I'd have to put my work clothes back on. Yeesh, I thought, I'll look for a matchbook later.

So I opened up a Bloomingdales card & rewards account. It was all easy & straightforward. I had an issue with my credit score at the time & was delighted to see that I was approved for a generous credit limit. I used that to fully upgrade my closet & go out on my date.

Fast foward to Christmas of 2023. I still walked around in a cloud of dust & sweat while I worked, but I now had a drawer/closet full of great high quality clothing for my leisure time. The only thing that was missing was a great, look at me I'm rich watch! So obviously I needed a Rolex. Sadly, I'm not rich. So this Christmas gift for myself would need to be creative, but luckily, I had Bloomingdales in the wings.

The men's jewelry department had a friendly sales rep. He didn't mind going back & forth as I was incredibly indecisive. The rolex's just didn't look cool enough to warrant the price. Fortunately, he got to know me & started to understand what my style was & what would truly impress me. He asked me if I liked Breaking Bad, I answered who doesn't? He then pulled out a Tag Huer Monaco watch & explained that this is the watch Walter White gets from Grey Matter. I explained to him that I was never a fan of square watches, but the simple yet bold look was incredible. I was sold.

We walked over to his register & he ran my card. Not only did he go out of his way to make sure I got all the available discounts, but he helped explain when & when not to use the famous Triple Point days. He was careful to help me in that & I ended up with that, look at me I'm rich watch without having to go sell Meth. To this day, every time I wear this watch, I am always complimented.

Bloomingdales took me in when I was living like a pauper & dating whomever was able to look past my patchy Aladdin type jeans. Even though I'm not affluent enough to lobby for congress, I still feel like I'm too cool for school. I even managed to snag a knockout fiance, which I'm pretty certain Bloomingdales had a hand in. What I do know for sure is that I'm no longer being stopped by the Concierge, & for that I have you guys to thank!

short hills mall is always lovely to go to! such nice service in bloomingdale’s and lots of options for gifts and nice quality pieces for yourself! returns are easy and they are able to put it right on your card sometimes you may need your card for the return but usually it’s able to go right on it without it!

Luxurious department store but good discounts. Check it out.

Best shopping 🛍 experience in New Jersey

Still a nice a "luxurious" mall after all these years. Bathrooms were gross. Parking spots were spacious.

Excellent service. We were greeted immediately. When we started looking at a particular dress, a salesperson was quick to give us some additional information (including the current discount) about sizing, etc. Then she took the dresses we were interested in and placed them in a fitting room for us so we didn't have to carry them around. When we were ready to try them on, she reiterated that she was available if we needed help or additional sizes, etc. We did need her to answer a couple of questions, she came right over and was again very helpful. We decided to buy the dress and then her colleague was very helpful and efficient during the checkout. We walked out with a dress in a bag and a smile on our faces. (This is in sharp contrast to the disappointing visits we had in Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Macy's on the same shopping trip) why high end department stores think it makes sense to skimp on staffing and training while trying to sell me expensive items is beyond me. The Bloomingdales evening gown area was lovely. The same areas in the other stores I mentioned looked like a hurricane had hit and then a single employee had been tasked with hanging up every dress - while blindfolded - in the five minutes before the store opened.

I was there a week ago looking for sunglasses and a sales associate named Michael Rodriguez helped my husband and I find the perfect pair! We were extremely happy with his expedience in processing the transaction and his professionalism. I’ve come to expect this type of excellent service from Bloomies at Short Hills.

Classy stuff, but this particular location is not for the faint-hearted....pricey

My fiancé and I had a beyond fantastic experience at the Bloomingdale’s fine jewelry department! We went shopping for all events related to our Wedding day and the Sales Professional ELEANORE RALPH was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, kind and helpful and we were very happy with our purchase! Bloomingdale’s has a fantastic selection of fine jewelry for all tastes. Whenever shopping there, make sure to ask for ELEANORE, you won’t regret it!

If you love amazing scents, definitely go to Judy in the fine fragrance area. She is so good at recommending niche scents that are so luxurious to smell and wear. I love her personality and fun attitude which helped me become a Parfum de Marlys fan!

Another best place on my list for shopp a luxury biggest fashion brands 🌟

Jodi was the sales associate in handbags who assisted with our purchase. She was patient and gave genuine advice on helping finalize the decision. Most importantly she treated us with respect and was able to assist multiple clients without showing frustration or aggravation. Kudos and we will be back for future purchase and seek her out.

Great store at Short Hills mall. The people here are very friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of many brand and they carry quite a few options. It doesn’t get too busy so it’s nice especially during the holidays. The selection of brands is excellent
