Newark Liberty International Airport

We are quite impressed with the updated appearance and variety of amenities at Newark Airport. Although a large and complex facility, it has excellent, easy to understand signage. Rental cars are also close to the airport, which is a plus in my book. Finally there is ample parking.

Let's talk TERMINALS in Newark Liberty International Airport!!!
I have been to all the terminals A,B, and C, but terminal A is a beauty! New structures, new facilities, new bathrooms (make you feel like you peeing in the woods lol) crowded still, but I love the Newness.. loads of stores , restaurants, duty-free to choose from! Enjoy your travels!

JFK Airport is a traveler's haven! The moment you step foot into its terminals, you're greeted with efficiency and warmth. This airport is nice, it gave better feelings than JFK for sure. The NJCL train from New York Penn Station to Newark was $15.75, so it does cost more in general to get to that airport but it's also more comfy.

Also Newark airport is a very old historical airport.
Security was easy-going and fast ! I didn't have to wait, but my flight was at 7 am so it makes sense I guess.

Thi review is specific to Terminal A, the modern, rebuilt $2.7b space that will floor you. The open concept plan is stunning. Everything from the modern and clean bathrooms to endless places to eat and shop, you'll forget you're standing in the middle of an airport. Next time you're here, come a bit earlier and walk around. You'll be glad you did.

The airport is well maintained the sign boards are very clear and can help you navigate through the airport easily. Staff are very friendly. There are few eateries available. Gift/duty free shops are also there. Bathrooms are clean. Lots of places to wait

Came an hour earlier than I usually do to find out what recently renovated Terminal A looked like. I am absolutely stunned from it. Cleanliness was never an issue here but, wow. Easy to navigate where you’re supposed to go, so many stores to choose from. You no longer have to walk, what felt like a mile, to use a restroom from your gate. My biggest issue was finding a seat at my gate and obviously looking for an outlet. They have gone out of their way by not only making it easy to access an outlet but they also put usb and usb-c ports for their customers. Putting an aesthetic touch to their furniture really makes this airport lively! Also, being able to listen to what they have to say through their intercom is no longer a complaint of mine. Great job EWR AIRPORT!

Great airport, good size, and easy to navigate through. Signage is very good and they have friendly staff everywhere willing to help. When arriving, there are lots of taxis and special locations to get picked up by Uber or lyft. Makes getting picked up a breeze. Definitely recommend this airport. One of the easier airports to navigate thru.

They have updated this airport and made it incredibly easy to navigate. The spacious area allows you to claim your baggage so easily. It is spotless and spacious. Even the bathrooms are clean and spacious. The attendants are very helpful and they allow pick up from Uber and Luft so easily instead of making you walk so far like at JFK. This was the first time I actually enjoyed arriving in New Jersey airport!

Never expected to give a 5 star to Newark but…terminal a is another level. Designers clearly took inspiration from some nice European and Asian airports and implemented the best. Efficient plenty of tsa stations, spacious bright hall, plenty of seating, charging points, greens and restrooms. great to fly from terminal a! Also nice delta lounge. Better breakfast than in jfk and very attentive staff

Many times in New York but never had came into Newark and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s really nice all around. Plenty of seating and charging. Clean bathrooms. Plenty of food spot. Transit to parking and ride share are all easy to navigate. It’s especially convenient if you don’t have to get into New York City and just stay on the Jersey side.

The new Terminal A is totally redone and all modernized. Efficient TSA lines, great selection of air-side stores and restaurants. Most of the new seats by the gates have built-in power supply and USB ports.

Terminal C - gates 120+

EWR is a United HUB and one of three major airports for New York City. Terminal C is one of the three terminals and dedicated to United and the gates 120+ concourse is home to one of their newest international business class lounges. This concourse is shaped like a rope with a loop at the end. The walk from one end to the other is about 4 mins.

There are upscale restuarants with seating and bars from end to end. In the food court is a large selection of food, but they don't have seating or a bar. Finally, there are self serve grab and go pre made food, drink, and snacks. All of these are self ordering through a QVC code (scan with your camera and click the link) and they all take United Mileage Plus points.

At the entrance/ exit of the concourse there is a mileage plus shop, a duty free, a currency exchange, a grab and go, a bookstore, 3 upscale restaurant, and shops . There is an immediate exit to baggage claim.

Lining the rope section of the concourse from the entrance/ exit to the where the loop begins is another upscale resturant. The restrooms, a drinking fountain, and even a defibulator are here. At the end of this section, where the loop starts is a another grab and go line and the escalators to the United Club centrally located.

The loop itself surrounds a large self serve grab and go, and the food court, which as of 2023 Oct, is under partial construction. Restrooms are located on the backside of the concourse loop next to the last of the food/ bars.0

It's a beautiful airport . Very busy mostly as people are flying back home for the holidays .But once you are able to arrive early to the airport it shouldn't be a problem if you want to check in on time

Clean & organized airport, unlike other typical US airports that are crowded, old & chaotic. They have good options for food & drinks as well.

Keep in mind, since it is a smaller airport than the JFK, there are less variety of duty-free products.

As a frequent traveller, I must say my experience at Newark Airport has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped foot into the terminal, I was greeted with efficiency and warmth. The staff were incredibly helpful and courteous, making the check-in process a breeze. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment for me to relax before my flight.

One aspect that truly stood out to me was the diverse range of dining and shopping options available. Whether I was craving a quick snack or a gourmet meal, there was something to satisfy every palate. Additionally, the duty-free shopping area offered a fantastic selection of goods, allowing me to pick up some last-minute souvenirs for loved ones back home.

Furthermore, the airport's transportation connections were seamless, with convenient access to taxis, rental cars, and public transportation. This made it incredibly easy for me to navigate my way to and from the airport.

This review is only about the new award winning Terminal A, you can really tell they spent a lot of time and money designing this terminal, from the moment you enter you will feel this is a well designed place, the TSA lines are fast and efficient with the new machines where you don't have to take out laptops and small liquid containers, to the perfect temperature that's neither too cold nor too warm, to the great lighting, to the modern high quality screens, the food options are also good, plenty of bathrooms and hydration stations so don't forget to bring your refillable water bottles.

Newark is a beautiful airport! And the people that work here are some of the nicest I have ever met at any airport.
The spaces in terminal C are easy to access. They have tables and chairs with power for all your devices. One of the easiest I have every been to for comfort.

Spacious. Clean. The huge NJ sign at the baggage claim area made us feel so welcome. Gotta explore more on our return flight.
