Prudential Center

The Prudential Center is an amazing multipurpose arena based in Newark, New Jersey. Opened in 2007, it serves as the home of the New Jersey Devils of the NHL and hosts a multitude of concerts, live productions and even UFC events.

In January of 2024, I brought and treated myself and my wife for a visit to the Prudential Center to attend the “Disney On Ice:Find Your Hero.” Both my wife and I highly enjoyed watching the show at the Prudential Center!!!

The Disney On Ice is a captivating ice show featuring ice skaters playing the roles of Disney characters in performances derived from Disney films. My wife and I were absolutely impressed with the awesome performance of the ice skaters and were in awe of the dazzling light, sound effects and the mesmerizing music featured throughout the show!!!

We found our seats at Prudential Center to be quite comfortable, loved the Center’s acoustics and the great quality view that we experienced while watching the show.

We highly recommend for everyone to attend and watch the “Disney On Ice” at this wonderful performance entertainment venue!!!

Fantastic experience at the prudential center ! Came here for multiple concerts and loved it. Helpful staff and lots of food options. My two cents is firstly its packed for bathrooms. Also all the food is ridiculously expensive. Come early if you're driving because parking is the epitome of awful.

Went to the devils game with a large group of people. I must say this is one of the better venues to go to. They have the best food compared to any other venue that I have been to. I must say yes like every other venue it is expensive food but at least it was good.

Aside from the over priced $35 event parking which is a ripoff! Went to see the Devils win on their home turf.. they did not disappoint at all! It’s a clean event center, easy enough to navigate. I wish these centers were built outside of cities so the traffic wouldn’t be so crazy when you leave. I’d have to say Hershey pa has done that right. If only they had a hockey team lol. Any how, great center!

One of the best arenas around, and easy to get to in Newark. Tons of parking, whether in the garage or outside of the center. Go Devils, Go SHU!!!

Very nice arena. Suite was spacious, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Uber drop off is fine, but Uber pick up was a bit of a nightmare.

I went to a Travis Scott concert on Decide 26, 2023. The lines were quick and efficient. Security was kind and organized. I enjoyed the variety of snacks/food options. I ordered my favorite Auntie Anne's pretzel bites for $10. I've been to NY concerts before, but this crowd and event was 10/10. Hype! The visuals (fire, lights, sparka) were so mesmerizing. I plan on looking for more concerts at this location!

It's an indoor stadium, so the temperature is better than an outdoor stadium like Metlife (obviously). I went there last Sunday for a concert and everything was nice. The bathrooms were nice and clean and there were a lot of guards. Hopefully I can go there for a hockey game!!

Went there for the Marc Anthony Concert Historia Tour. It is a State of the Art facility with all amenities under one roof, nice and strict security personel the bartenders where very nice and very knowledgeable and fast. Good Vibe!

She sat Section A Row 4. Great Concert and Very Nice Staff. Very clean too. Always a pleasure to come here for Concerts

Ticket price: my ticket didn’t cost more than 35 dollars.
Excellent spot to watch the game. Went a month ago to watch NJ Devils vs Montreal Canadiens.

Food was really bad and expensive tho.

To be fair I wanted to write this on both sites, UFC Las Vegas and Prudential Centre Newark. UFC 159 was our first UFC event we visited live in the US and it was worth every dollar… We were in the US on holiday from South Africa and could not resist see the highly anticipated Jon Jones vs Chael Sonnen and Roy Nelson and Cheick Kongo fights… All praise to the UFC team and their professional fighters for making this an evening to remember… The Prudential event was easy to find even thought we had to travel from Manhattan to Newark… The facilities was great and had everything you would expect from a center this size… This weekend at UFC 297 Dricus du Plessis vs Sean Strickland will be one for the history books and we wish our champ from South Africa all of the best and may the best man bring the belt home…

First time here. Grabbed parking right next to the venue for 39$ was def worth the price for ease of access and leaving. (Paid online before event) Staff letting us in were super nice, and informative. Food court area was packed but had an efficient line flow. Even for the 12k+ in attendance. Beer prices were basically 18$ a tall boy, chicken and fries were less than 16 i think. Chicken was crispy and better than expected . Staff inside the arena were also very nice and helped us find our seats. Bathrooms were easy and every where. Spund quality was awesome. Would highly recommend!

Awesome! Me and my dad went to a devil's game, and it seems we're lucky charms haha.

Comfy, yummy, and go Devils!

Came here to see Cirque Du Soliel and absolutely loved it. Such an experience and I hope they continue to do shows at this locatiob.

From all the venues i have visited in the jersey ny area it has been the most pleasant experience and I love seeing my favorite artists having their shows here can't wait to come back. The staff have always been amazing and very helpful.

Had an amazing time watching Spiritbox, Papa Roach & Shinedown at the Prudential Center. Everything prior to the show was a little chaotic however. The "Green Team" was supposed to guide everyone who purchased General Admission floor tickets to a separate line from the rest of the lines & they failed to do so for me and my group. The show, however, completely made up for our struggle in the rain and with the event staff. Overall the night redeemed itself and then some🤘🏽

The Prudential Center is my fourth or fifth NHL arena I've visited and one of my favorites. The concourse is extremely wide which makes walking around much easier. The arena is bright and the pre- and mid-game video board entertainment was great. The food options were a bit lacking but I'm not someone who needs something incredibly interesting at a hockey game. Getting in and out was very easy and we enjoyed stopping in the team store to browse.

Being able to experience Disney On Ice was a wonderful experience. The cherished characters had a profound impact on my kid, who had a wonderful day and was completely enthralled by them. The concert itself was incredible, and it provided a mystical experience that the whole family could enjoy together.

Having said that, I feel it necessary to point out that while the experience as a whole was amazing, the pricing of the snacks that were available were pretty high in relation to the amount that was providing them. In spite of this, the entrancing performance and the happiness that my daughter experienced made it a genuinely unforgettable occasion that we will always treasure.

Great place to come and see events. Plenty of police presence. Therefore, do not come to this place to FAFO!
Nevertheless, if you are ever in Newark come check this place out.
