Indigo - Short Hills

Five stars for the Indigo store at the Mall of Short Hills, NJ! This store is a haven for book lovers and so much more. Its atmosphere and diverse selection of books, gifts, and home decor make it a great place to shop for all ages

Love this bookstore, it’s a huge space with seating too. You can enjoy flipping through the books and relax before checking out your items. They also have a section for kids, and sell bath-wear stuff, kitchenware, stationeries, etc. Wish there were more bookstores like this around.

This store has gotten better and better. It's become my favorite coffee table bookstore in New Jersey. The displays are lovely and the children's section is a wonderland. It's been well taken care of. Definitely bumped up to 5 stars ♡

It also seems to be dog friendly!!

So nice to see a normal store at the short Hills mall! This is coming from someone who grew up in the area and I’ve been going here since the 80s. I took my son to see the Easter bunny and we stumbled on the store. This mall was sorely missing a bookstore and it’s great! Lots of gifts and a huge toy section. I was shocked to find toys under two dollars (Hot wheels cars). It will be a great place to pick up a book or a gift if I need it.

This is a really cool bookstore. Vast selection of books and toys. Be sure to check out the T-Rex!

Any new bookstore is a cause for celebration. It’s refreshing to see this excellently designed store with mainly books, but lots of other things to keep you visually interested and to keep the store

profitable. I love the tables and chairs by the books. The books are well curated and displayed. Staff is enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. This is their first American outlet. There are 200 Indigo stores in Canada. It has a different feel than we are used to. It is refreshing. There are Heather’s Picks where you can return books if you are not satisfied!

I hope that this store makes it.

The most beautiful book store experience I've ever had.

This book store is quite large and they have other things besides books such as small gifts, blankets, cups utensils... They have a great selection of true crime. Non-fiction.

For an avid reader, this place is great, great book selections and recommendations. They even have a section on Tiktok recommended books! They also have home decor and other interesting items!
Wished they had membership program though. It’s our goto weekend destination!

Very serene, and beautiful, like art. So many interesting books and house items. The prices are not for the faint of heart. If you are looking for an amazing gifts, this is the place. Bento boxes in powder pink, yes please.

This is more than a book store. It's beautiful and huge and you can get lost in it for hours. There are so many different areas of dedication and a lovely Cafe and multiple lounge areas.

The last of the mega book stores, a step or two up from Barnes & Noble was even back in the day. This place is geared towards buying gifts for friends who love to read, with the newest books set out next to beautiful hardcovers versions of the classics. The inventory isn't exhaustive, but it's got everything you would need for even a picky friend.

Pleasantly surprised by this spaceous store and products they carry, will def go back to browse some more when I have more time.

Incredible book store with different areas for games, stuffed animals and even clothing.

Indigo, a Canadian-owned bookstore is a great addition to SH Mall. I've been shopping here since the 80s and this is the first of its kind bookstore which sells not just books, but many other gift items. It's large and spacious, with attentive staff and a cafe as well and a nice clean bathroom.

I also love the children's area.

Very lovely interior design and wide variety of books which were all great choices. Suitable for casual hobbyists or more advanced readers - ranging from Stephen King, to the classic Charles Dickens. What surprised me even more was that there were art products in stock as well, alongside toys for kids, candles, journals, and those of the kind.

A beautiful bookstore. They really have the sections: First, the newest books and recommendations, bursting with ideas. Some must-haves you'll find everywhere, but some offers are carefully curated and make your visit extra rewarding. Second, miscellaneous books. They've got a big section on Manga, if you're into that. Third, a section on random things like kitchen utensils. That first book section alone is worth the visit and the five stars - it's huge and very up-to-date.

Great store..they sell books & so much more! I was there for a book signing & they were very organized & accommodating.
