My wife wanted a dessert so we tried here. It was great to have plenty of parking in back. Once we went in, we were greeted by friendly staff and they took our orders. While there’s no place to eat inside (bakery), there are three tables outside and the weather was gorgeous. I had the lemon meringue which very good and creamy. My wife enjoyed her creme brûlée. We still have to try the Oreo cheesecake and carrot cake.

My favorite bakery. I have loved every single thing I have tried here. My parents love it, my grandparents love it. I stop by when I go to visit my grandma or my parents and spend $50-$75 on sweets to bring with me, and we always love everything. The lemon bars are great if you like tart, the swans are amazing, and my mom swears by their pecan diamonds (I buy at LEAST a pound for her!). Their breakfast pastries (danishes, buns, croissants, etc) are also great and sell out quickly so get there early.

Great little pastry place to go and have coffee and morning buns and deliciousness all around. Very friendly servers and wonderful. We ordered cupcakes, and raspberry filled cookies and an elegantly wrapped elephant ear/palmier and also a morning bun to go! My hubby had coffee and they have a small fridge with refreshments and water. Everything is so neat and clean and definitely a wonderful bakery. Oh and on the outside they have a small patio with wrought iron tables and chairs for you to enjoy your desserts. If in Arlington, make sure you stop here. Oh and it’s Kosher certified under orthodox supervision all year.

Found this place last minute while scrambling for a custom cake for my husband’s 30th birthday. I ordered and was able to have my cake created by the end of the same week! Cake was Tres leche. I’m not a cake person but it the best cake I’ve ever had, even the fondant was delicious. I’m very impressed by this place!!

If it were possible I would have bought one of each. Everything was appealing to the eye, and each pastry and dessert was created with craftsmanship. It took every ounce of willpower to not eat one of my purchases on the way home.

I can’t say enough about Pastries by Randolph! Bakery items are beautiful AND delicious (a difficult combo to live up to)!! Expensive, but worth it! The service is great! It’s always crowded, but the staff gets you in and out quickly with a smile! Highly recommend!!

We brought the cake for our 1 year kid. The people were good to explain us the details both in mail and directly. also there was a minor mistake in the bday cake they were professional to correct the deliver to the home.. everyone in the party loved this cake

This review has been a long time coming, but Melissa and her team were a dream to work with for our son’s custom woodland birthday cake, complete with bark details, a custom fox, mushrooms, and leaves. They also made us a small smash cake per our request, and hit it out of the park with our design. Not only that, the cake tasted REALLY good. We actually had no leftovers for the first time ever in our cake eating history. Now that we are readying for a second bday, you know we will be reaching out to Pastries by Randolf.

We tried the Tres Leches cake from Randolph and it was absolutely fantastic. The cake was very moist, and the cream was clearly of high quality. This is definitely one of the best cakes we’ve had in the DMV, and we will be coming back.

Hi all! I was throwing a gender reveal party for a close friend and the mom-to-be had this cake in mind, so going out on the limb I sent it to Gen at Pastries by Randolph who absolutely CRUSHED IT! Of course, I wanted everything to be perfect for the gender reveal. I knew she was good, but this was above and beyond. I would HIGHLY recommend coming here for custom cakes for special events. Gen was super easy to work with, accommodated the time request, and was just a pleasure to work with. On top of that, I mean, look at what she created! It was SO soft, tasted amazing, and the design was spot on for what the mom-to-be wanted. The price was very reasonable also. I was expecting it to be significantly more, but I couldn't argue the price for what we got. 11/10, please go here for your requests. Also, GEN rocks. Thank you SO much!

I love this place! My favorite go to for pastries. I have never been disappointed. The one ought I have with them is I bought a chocolate babka today and didn’t look at it. I got home and it had icing on it. Icing! I’ll probably give it away. But they still get 5 stars. Please people. Don’t ice the babkas!

Update: I stand corrected! This was one of the best babkas I ever had. And the icing, though non-traditional, was perfect!

Went there to pickup a pre ordered cake and tried malibu and marble mousse cake. Loved them and its a best malibu so far

I was trying to find a treat for someone with many dietary restrictions, and the staff members were patient, knowledgeable, and careful. The pastries are works of art. An absolute gem of a shop!

Loved this custom cake from Pastries By Randolph! Our family ordered it as a surprise cake for our engagement and we will definitely be back! The cake was not too sweet, but still rich and chocolate-y! The inside was chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and white chocolate shavings on the outside. YUM!!!

When i contacted Pastries by Randolph, i already had a vision of what i wanted for my graduation cake... I was a bit picky and extravagant, however. They worked with me to satisfied all of my expectations and even went beyond to help me! I would recommend, hands down! Sweet caring staff, very willing to satisfy your expectations and requests! I fell in love with my cake and so did my party guest :)

We ordered our daughter’s birthday cake from here and it came out exactly as we described. It was great looking with great taste..

They were amazing with my last minute wedding cake request. I was even able to get a groom's cake in a short amount of time. I should have started with them in the first place! I was also able to get a sample of my wedding cake in 24hrs so I could be sure the flavor combination was right. Eizel was absolutely amazing. She was patient and walked me through every step. The follow-up from day 1 thru picking up the cake and after was absolutely amazing. Thank you for accommodating me last minute and giving this bride one less thing to worry about!

I rarely leave reviews unless I am truly impressed, or truly disappointed. I have to say, I am extremely impressed and wanted to share how pleasant my experience ordering my sister’s wedding cake was.
Penina was an absolute delight to work with, very detailed and patient. She provided a variety of options to work with our budget and was flexible up to the last minute.
The cake was a delicious success! It was spongy, not too sweet, light, and just everything we could have imagined. I was nervous because we had not had time to do a tasting, but I was absolutely not disappointed and the cake was amazing!
