Dr Pepper Park at the Bridges

I love the venues our little city has. Dr Pepper is a beautiful place to see a show! It has a great view of the Star on Mill Mountain as well. There's alcohol and food trucks on site. The area is open and spacious with no bad seats. Shuttles run for parking, which there's a garage right across from it..some parking is available around the area but not at the small clusters of businesses right outside of the venue (Starbucks, Moe's). The venue will email the ins and outs but make sure you take notice of what is allowed and what's not allowed. You'll have no regrets going to Dr Pepper Park!

Do you love being outdoors? Do you love music? This is the venue you can do both. We love the outings and the acts that come. Just be aware there is no on-site parking but the carilion garage they use isn't far and they provide bus transportation. The venue is right next to South 16 apartments which also has a Starbucks, Moe's, and starhill brewery right there. In the venue the food is pretty good, beer/wine is $5, and suggestion to bring a chair/blanket or rent a chair while there.

This was the first time I have been to this concert venue and it will definitely not be the last. I came to see the greatest band in the land Blackberry Smoke. They did not disappoint as usual. I also got turned on to the Vegabonds who did not disappoint either. I really love your venue and the vibe. In today’s world I found you over delivered for your guest. Great experience getting in. Beer pricing was awesome @ $5 plenty of Bathrooms. I did not eat anything but I would assume it was probably pretty good to. There are a lot of concert venues that could take a lesson from you all on how to do it right. Thanks and Keep doing what you do. I will definitely be back soon

We had a blast last night at the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band Concert. We took our 12 year old daughter with us and she really enjoyed it. We love the close intimate settings like that.

Saw JJ Grey & Mofro here on 8/13/2022 and it was one of the best live music experiences ever! Venue is in a wonderful location on the Roanoke River with plenty of bathrooms and food/drink lines weren’t too long. A few more food vendors would have been nice but other than that, no complaints. And the crowd was really into the show which made it the perfect night. There are some restaurants nearby and a Starbucks for a pre-show meal or coffee. The walk from the Riverwalk parking deck is less than 10 minutes. Already looking forward to my next trip to Dr. Pepper Park!

Went to see Jackyl,they put on one hell of a show it poured rain before they played.The venue was very nice on the small side but it still had a packed house. Absolutely loved the show

My husband & I have been to a couple of concerts here and had the best time. Staff is nice & the shows are fantastic. I always look forward to the next.

My favorite venue for music!

Awesome outdoor venue with great vendors. Good beer selection, shuttle service (but walking isn't far) Be sure to bring a chair. Friendly leashed dogs are welcome.

Want to spend an evening with a show and not break the bank? Then the Dr Pepper Park is the place to go. Bring your own favorite chair or rent one from the park because there really isn't a bad seat in the park. Easy walk to and from the parking area or hop on the Free bus and ride to the gate. I definitely will be back again.

Most affordable venue in the area, the tickets were not outrageous and the drink prices were better than most local restaurants. The acoustics were a little weird due to the way the buildings are around the stage but it definitely did not make the show unenjoyable.

The venue was layed out perfectly! From the vendors placement to the smoking areas.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
I will be back to see another show...rain or shine.

This was our first time at this venue to see the artist Yelawolf. Everything was great. We will definitely be going back again.

Nice place to see a show. Better traffic control would be nice. Took FOREVER to get in. Over an hour to drive 2 miles.

Always a great atmosphere! And a 5-star rating for continuing to bring such great Rock to our area! LOVE "Shoot To Thril"... seen them all three times they've played there, and we've enjoyed lots of great bands that we've lived for decades, like the Motels, the Romantics, Quiet Riot... just to name a few. We can't wait to see Candlebox there. Keep on doing what you're doing, and we'll keep coming back, event after event...

I’ve been here a couple times for concerts and other events but Yelawolf, Caskey, and Cowboy Killer killed it. Great venue!

Not right that the food vendors can't sell water or soda so you only need to stand in one long line not two. O I know, so you have to pay $5 for one in the second line😡
