The Italian Store at Westover

Fun Italian specialty shop that also serves ready-made sandwiches, custom sandwiches, pizza (whole and by the slice) and has a small amount of seating (my only complaint) if you want to eat there. My pate and Brie sandwich was decadently delicious.

Great experience. Pizza was delicious (IMO, the best New York pizza in NoVA), with a nice and chewy dough crust. Sandwiches were also delicious, and for a reasonable price!

Truly wonderful place! My Italian wife was in heaven. They have everything from prepared foods (pizza, subs, coffee, desserts) to a full range of Italian groceries and a nice wine area. Outdoor seating a plus as well. So shop there, dine there, or both!

This has been an Arlington staple for years, and for a good reason! Excellent selection of gourmet food and wine, as well as prepared foods in the refrigerator. Good coffee and amazing deserts. I am a fan of their thin crust pizzas - one slice will definitely fill you up. Some parking and outdoor seating are super convenient.

This one is one of the most fancy store in my neighborhood area completely renovated good pizza very delicious gelato Illy coffee I highly recommend it to buy wine and Italian soda red wine from all over Italian regions best of Tuscany

I just love the Italian Store. It is a must visit every time we stop by Westover. The combo pizza slice + ice cream to enjoy at their patio while listening to great music is just unbeatable. And don't forget to grab some wine and Italian specialties.

I can’t stay away from this place. The hot subs are delicious. I like the Caprese sub because they use fresh locally grown basil. The aroma and taste taste of thier basil is out of this world. They make their own secret recipe pesto daily and it is to die for and it is a weekly staple at my house.
I choose the Italian store every time because they put a priority on customer service and supporting local agriculture.
Next time you go buy the pesto, trust me you will love it!

I love it here and come in frequently. It reminds me of my grandmother, who was very old and very Italian living in the Bronx.

My favorites are the pizza and prepackaged food for a dinner or lunch. I'll even get a slice pizza at an off time because it's still so good even if it was sitting out for a little while. I think it's the best NY slice in Arlington. They have their own sauce and dough; you can make your own pizza at home that is also delicious.

Friday nights and Saturday during the day there are free wine tastings, which is always a joy to attend. The staff are super friendly. It's nice to sit outside or at the storefront bar and grab a bite.

This is their larger store and it's a great place to get specialty Italian groceries.

The best Sandwich, not just Italian sandwiches place I’ve ever been. Very unique and delicious. Every section (sandwich raw, pizza bar, drinks, shelves) in the store was too perfect even during a busy lunch time. Store front to the back including rest rooms were super tidy. Happy employees too. Well that explains a lot. Two thumbs up 👍🏼👍🏼. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a good meal time.

I love this place. Been going here for my Italian subs since they were in 7 Corners and 7 Corners was an indoor mall! I live 200 miles away now but this is always a lunch stop when I am in town. Love the new location but I went to both on this trip. Small Roma with everything on a soft roll, is my go to but all their subs and pizza are amazing!

My brother introduced me to his favorite spot. That said, I love the ambiance, people, and most of all the food. Delicious subs, pizza, and everything you look for in an Italian deli. Highly recommended!

Neighborhood staple. Most towns are missing stores like this. Sandwiches, bakery, and pizza are all great, especially for lunch or dinner! Reasonably priced and all fresh. Must try!

my favorite place to go for picnic prep. i love all the packaged sides and freshly made sandwiches. the coffee and gelato bar is a must try and the pizza is hard to resist. delish!

Best pizza and subs and easy to order on line . They sell a variety of Italian cookies, pasta, cheese for every occasion, desserts, wine, and more…The store has a friendly customer service atmosphere .

What a great first time experience. Manager got me fresh basil from the back and had the best mozzarella I have had living in NOVA.

Wow! Amazing pizza from the crust to the fresh ingredients. Worth a trip for the pizza alone but the other Italian dishes offered are equally amazing from sides/salads to the subs. Very nice wine selection and a small but respectable cheese/charcuterie selection. Nice selection of Italian cooking ingredients. And to finish off the meal a nice gelato counter.
Just remember this is a order and then be self seated style restaurant without service but the food is so wonderful who cares!!

Walking into this store will arouse all your senses! I absolutely love the vibe. I purchased an entire Tiramusu cake, and it was phenomenal to enjoy and share. The pizza is outstanding, too! This place is usually crowded because the quality of the products are top notch! My best friend and I thought we would stop in for coffee... which is extraordinary! It was strong, with mild acidity and bold. I purchased products I can't usually find, such as elderberry candy, good quality licorice, and canned goods. I really love this store. It's my favorite place to visit while I'm in town. Also, they have fantastic customer service, and the staff is always willing to help.
