Police Foundation Park

Nice, clean, not crowded. Unfortunately several people living in the closest area believe they are above rules and common courtesy so you MAY find someone walking their dogs or their pet goat, some kids riding mini dirt bikes or golf carts....
Not enough to make me avoid the place but enough to make me ask why

This little park is kind of way off to the side of the neighborhood, so it is not only quiet, but hardly used. However, I guess that is most parks these days since kids tend to be stuck indoors while having meds shoveled down their throats because they are bouncing off the walls (because they are kids and you keep them inside!) But I digress. I like to bring my grandchildren to the park and I am always pleased to see young mother ls actually forcing their kids to be active.

My 2 and 4 year old love to come here. Perfect combination of climbing, slides and swings. Very nicely shaded by big trees as well. There are no facilities here tho. Just a Porto pot.

It is definitely a nice small park. I go there all the time with my 3 year old and my 1 year old. There is a porta potty and make sure to bring your own drinks during the summer.

Edit: there definitely needs to be an exterminator for the ants... there are so many ant beds.

Decent little park with a little pond. Not real big but pleasant.

Gee Wiz phone, I was just taking my 2 dogs for a walk, lightn up! I don't understand why they don't want people walking their pets on the walkways , it looks so inviting! I would pick up after my girls, even bring my own bags since they don't have any to give out. Oh well, I will obey, it is a Police Park and I like my freedom!

I'm extremely grateful for this park. It's nothing special, but I'd be really upset if it were replaced with housing, etc. It's about the best place to stop and have a picnic or some fast food when you're in the area.

The park is was just rebuilt and the new jungle gym is very nice. They have more work to do, but its a good place to bring the kids.

Nice spot for those with kids or want to relax with a pond view with bench's...good spot for a picnic also

It's a smaller park in a older neighborhood. Pretty place.

This is great little park for younger kids(like under the age of 6 or 7), docked a star for lack of a bathroom & the ant hills surrounding the playground.

Other than those two things this park is shaded well by three large trees. There's two covered pavilions with picnic tables & grills, one by the parking lot & the second one is on the other side of the pond.

The equipment looks on the newer side with lots of slides, climbing options for kids to play and use their imagination as well.

There are picnic tables and benches by the playground but only the two beaches & one table is shaded the other two tables are out in the sun, but they are handicap accessible. There's a nice walking path around the pond that leads up to the playground as well.

Will definitely come back to play here again, just make sure you use the bathroom beforehand or have a little travel potty for your little.
