Doerr sales very nice, high quality products. However, What makes this store special is Danielle! Walked in y sold me a great table. We love it! So I called and told her I needed a new couch ASAP. She sold me a couch, then called 2 days later with an earlier delivery date. We love it! If you need something great, go to Doerr and ask for Danielle, she’s the best!

Went here and was somewhat skeptical if I would purchase anything because prices are largely absent from their website. I’m so glad I did. Danielle was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable. She took time to listen to my needs while patiently answering all of my questions. I’m definitely going to be back to get more stuff as I finish unpacking. I highly recommend this store, and Danielle. Delivery was a breeze, and the guys who brought my furniture were friendly, nice, and very careful not to damage it or my walls. Make it your first stop when shopping.

My salesperson was Danielle, but I also worked with Gabriella to design as custom piece. My overall experience was fantastic; Danielle met my needs at every turn, from suggesting the customization to connecting me with Gabriella for the design work to guiding me and my partner through multiple walk-throughs as we selected our furniture. She was incredibly practical and kept our actual living space in mind instead of simply pushing for higher ticket items, and she was realistic about the issues we might face as pet-owners who wanted a leather sofa and arm chairs. When we did face some of those difficulties post-purchase, she was even available to make suggestions and help source replacement or repair items.

My only negative to this whole process was the limited nature of Doerr’s warranty policy and the seeming lack of transparency surrounding that policy, but given the overall quality or service, I would gladly shop there again.

I should however point out that this is not the place to go if you are seeking trendy or disposable decor — everything here is quality, and priced as such.

I had a great experience buying my furniture from Doerr and will definitely go back. The employees there were very helpful and patient as i looked around the store to find what I needed. The quality of the furniture also impressed me and will last a long time. Both locations of Doerr Furniture (New Orleans and Covington) are phenomenal. Their high quality furnishings are both extremely tasteful and beautiful. And, the price points are highly competitive. Every staff person is well versed on product lines, as well as in how to provide excellent customer service. They pay close attention to your design vision. Our needs were not just met, our expectations were surpassed. We visited both stores, which not only help you to pick the designs and accents that work the best for your home, they both also provide the option for you to pick the fabrics and colors that work best for you...through your own custom design. Our family has always loved the quality and innovation of Doerr Furniture. Do yourself a favor, go and visit one of their locations. You will certainly become a part of the family that cares about your furnishing needs. Their staff, products, and storefronts are awesome!

Great experience. Judy Murphy in sales did a great job! The delivery men were excellent, even pointed out some damage and report the issue to their supervisor before removing the piece from the truck. Damage did not impede the usage but Doerr called the next day to assure me a replacement was ordered and would be delivered. So happy with the pieces. I’ll update when the replacement arrives.

Our sales rep from Doerr was Teresa. She is a consummate professional and possesses extraordinary knowledge of all the furniture lines that Doerr carries.
Selecting furniture can be an overwhelming experience, but Teresa made it enjoyable and stress free.
The entire staff at Doerr was very friendly and attentive.

I have been shopping at Doerr Furniture for the last 35 years. I have never been disappointed with my furniture purchases. You can always expect great quality furniture and along with great customer service. Jamie and Janel are excellent to work with, and both can offer their expertise in designing.

We purchased a leather sectional this past weekend, and after this experience I can say I will never purchase any furniture from anyone else. This business is outstanding, quality was excellent,no pressure, with fair pricing. Our sales person, Mary Vance, was patient, friendly, and knowledgeable regarding our particular selection, even though she shared with us that she was fairly new to her position. She helped us remain in our budget, and we are very grateful to her, and the sales manager, Tony, for that. We are interested in other items, and will definitely be back.

An incredible experience from start to finish! I worked with multiple people while shopping, and all of their knowledge far exceeded expectations. If they don’t have exactly what you need in the store, they’ll get it. They care more about getting you what you want, than just making a quick sale. Theresa Purcell has been a delight to work with! I have bought at least four rooms of furniture from Doerr with her expert guidance. She always helps me to review all options and I dont know how I could manage without her design expertise!! Also the quality of the furniture is outstanding!! My 14 year old couch still looks like new!!

I saw a cabinet on sale on Doerr's website. Went in to see it and met Theresa. She was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. And the cabinet was at a lower price than advertised! I purchased the cabinet and it looks great in my room. I have been doing business with Doerr for years and will continue to do so.

We went to Doerr to purchase a mattress for our motorhome. Theresa Purcell helped us twice in the past purchasing mattresses for our home. We told Theresa what we wanted and how much we wanted to spend. She showed us what she thought to be our best choice and we chose the one we liked.

We shop Doerr for all of our furniture and we have never been disappointed. Doerr is the best and they only sell quality furniture!

I called Doerr furniture looking for metal bed slats for my queen size bed..up and until this point know one had what I needed in stock..until I contacted Doerr furniture..Theresa took my call and she begin to take care of my needs..she was not able to give me a direct answer on if she had the metal slat frame ..but that she would check the warehouse and see If it was in stock..she took my information and said she would call back..well to me I felt I better continue my search just in case she had know luck in finding what I needed..and online I found what I needed..but it was going to take up until Tuesday until I was able to receive my item. I went on ahead and ordered it..not even 3min afterwards. Theresa called me saying she had what I needed in stock at the warehouse..my jar dropped open..as I shook my head I began to explain to Theresa that I had just ordered the metal slat frame and I just paid $89.00 dollars for it..Theresa explained to me that was the cost for for the one she has..I went on to say that I needed to know the type of metal slat frame it was. She sent me a email...and to my surprise it was the same item and cost ..so I called the online company back to cancel my order..saying all this to say patience is a quality we often time lack and as a result can potentially cost us time and money. It's absolutely nice to know that people like Theresa still exist .. because she did her job she made my day better .. thanks Doerr..for great customer service and that extra priority and professionalism it was the icing on the cake..if ever I need furnishings or just to give a referral..you have my personal word ..." like Arnold Schwarzenegger ill be back and my testimony to friends and family on my experience..again thank you Doerr family..

Theresa was excellent in helping us find a bedroom set for our new home. She was very understanding & beared with us taking some extra time to find the perfect fit. Great quality furniture & service at Doerr!

My first furniture shopping experience was a success. Nicole was great, even though she was new she was a tremendous help. The only negative was how long the furniture took to come in (10 weeks), but I don't think that's really Doerr's fault. What I was most impressed with was that they gave me a loaner couch for the 10 weeks! I couldn't believe it. The prices are a little high but you get what you pay for.

Doerr Furniture is one of the best experiences I have had in searching for furniture. When I have made inquiries your sales personnel have always responded promptly and professionally. I love the quality of furniture that you have and am looking for a dining room set and a high four post rice bed. I want one that I need a step stool to get into the bed. Your staff is currently looking for the bed for me.
