JAMNOLA isn't your typical tourist selfie trap. It's wall to wall thoughtful and interactive art created by local talent! If you're tired of stuffy art exhibits where everything is tucked behind glass, this place was designed with you in mind. We purchased tickets in advance with a time slot online. Arrived a few minutes early and were ushered into the waiting room which is also features exhibits. If you come solo or in a small group your tour will be combined with others but they keep the groups small enough for the experience to remain enjoyable. The guided tour portion was quick and ended with a short documentary. I typically prefer more information and a longer tour, but the space was so immersive no one can keep your attention for long. The fun really began after the tour guide turned you lose as you weaved your way from room to room letting your inner child roam free. You'll want to know more after it end so make sure you snap photos of the artists names and collect the QR codes.

Very fun place to visit with friends. Has more rooms than I had expected and all different. Love how repurposing materials have been used for a lot of the rooms too.
Has a great little gift shop at the end as well.

Came here with my dad and we had the time of our lives. The art is beautiful, dynamic and diverse, and the staff is extremely kind. We bought our tickets online as requested and they were perfectly on schedule. The groups were small enoigh that we didn't feel like we had to rush through the exhibits, which made sharing and experiencing the art much more enjoyable. This was by far our favorite part of our trip to New Orleans.

One of a kind experience! Learn at least a little about NOLA before your tour day and know that you will want to research much more afterward!
Wish it wasn't so quick to go through it that you could go back through. It's quite short for the price. I would have gotten more out of it if I had gone through a second time.

Visited here early November as a group of five. Check in was fast. If you arrive before your time, there is a waiting area. The first 2 segments are self guided, after that you go off and explore on your own. Take as many pics and videos as you'd like. This experience is all about what you make it, informative and fun. Roughly about 45 minutes, could be longer or shorter depending on how fast you move. Ticket pricing was fair. If you are a teacher, veteran, first responder or 55+ you can get a small discount on tickets. At the end we got a souvenir cup but they do have a gift shop if you'd like to purchase more. Overall, we had a great time. I'd love to see if other exhibits get added in the future.

Short museum but interactive and good for families and large groups (up to 10). We spent about $35 per person on this, which is a bit expensive, but you are able to take so many pictures and really immerse yourself. Also a good place to go if you want to take pictures for the aesthetic.

The moment I stepped into the gallery, I was transported to a world of imagination and creativity. The interactive elements added an entirely new dimension to the traditional art viewing experience, making it truly unique and unforgettable!
From intricate paintings and sculptures to psychedelic lighting, head pieces, and murals made from local trash, the gallery showcased a wide range of artistic expressions by local artists. What truly set this art gallery apart from others was its commitment to visitor engagement. There were interactive displays and exhibits throughout the space, allowing visitors to not only appreciate art but also to actively participate in the artwork on display with signs saying; “Try me on “, “Climb in”, “Touch this”. One memorable exhibit allowed visitors to add their own wishes and dreams on paper and add it to the walls of the artist’s section, fostering a sense of community and shared artistic expression.
The staff at the gallery were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly passionate about art and their community. They were eager to engage in discussions, answer questions, and share insights, which added a personal touch to the visit. ABSOLUTELY RECCOMEND THIS FOR ALL AGES! A MUST IF YOU ARE IN NEW ORLEANS!

My wife found an ad for this museum on Facebook. It was a pleasant surprise to see the colorful, unique and calming works of art. The exhibit takes between 45 and 60 minutes to view and there is a wonderful gift shop at the end.

So fun! Self-entertaining and self-paced. Guide for the first 15 mins was genuine and knew his stuff (forgot his name because it's been three weeks, but he was cute). Lots of photographic memories. Would do it again!

This was a really cool experience. It's definitely selfie oriented, but there's still a lot of info and history. There are a bunch of different rooms with different themes. This is kid friendly and interactive.

They require tickets ahead of time and if you are late and call them, they will charge you to change your ticket.

Neat art experience. Go to Bob's art and Studio Be as well if you go here. They are really close by and also worthwhile to art enthusiasts.

Absolutely loved this place. Every room is so thoughtfully put together and such a unique experience. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly, she mentioned that they change exhibits occasionally and I would love to come back, the only thing is that I feel the price is very high for what it is. Either way I enjoyed Jamnola.
