Erin Rose, just steps from Bourbon Street on Conti, is a beloved retreat with a welcoming embrace and an unpretentious atmosphere.

This Irish-inspired pub, a magnet for locals, artists, musicians, and tourists alike, invites patrons to enjoy a pint of Guinness or a shot of whiskey, relish a sandwiches from Killer Poboys, and embrace the relaxed vibes.

Proprietors Troy and Angie curate unforgettable experiences with a legendary secret-recipe Bloody Mary and their renowned Frozen Irish Coffee.

The wooden interior emit a cozy charm, encouraging patrons to unwind with a drink amidst vintage nostalgia, complemented by a jukebox.

Erin Rose transcends being merely a bar; it's an immersive experience that invites you to become part of its vibrant story.

In a city chock full of institutions, "Monahan's" Erin Rose is one of the most reliable. Been coming here since 1996 when I am in town. Great staff, great regulars, great atmosphere. Far enough off Bourbon to be sane but still insane in the best way possible.

I can't pass up their Frozen Irish Coffee. It's just the best combo of refreshing and boozy to hit the spot every time. Just miss the old juke box with the punk music, but that's life.

Can’t comment on food because we didn’t get any. We dined at Broussard’s first and then came here, definitely not because it has the same name as me. Carlos was amazing! So was the crowd. We watched some football, spoke to some other patrons and just had a great time. We were looking for a dive that wasn’t over crowded and we had an incredible time! Thank you Carlos, you’re a great bartender and you have an amazing sense of humor.

Came for the famous frozen Irish coffees, left satisfied with drinks in hand! So delicious and refreshing on a warm day - we paid $15 ish for 2 drinks, very worth!

One of my favorite pub in New Orleans.
They serve food and it was good. Kinda big portion so i share with my husband.
Friendly staffs, good music, and good drinks. Seems like this bar is really popular even to locals.

We love this bar and visit multiple times when ever we visit which is 2-4 times a year! Great mix of customers - locals, service people and tourists! Bartenders are super friendly and a huge shout out to Brooke- what an amazing person she is !
Specialty drink is a frozen Irish Coffee make sure to get a topper shot of either Jamison or Peanut butter whiskey! Happy hour 10 AM - 2 PM and the mimosa's are cold and strong!!! If you get hungry Killer Po Boy's is set up in the back of the bar! This is always one of our first stops when we get off the plane 💜

This place is the hidden gem of the city. The frozen Irish coffee is one of the best drinks in the city and it's cheap (~$6). On top of that, the inside of this place feels authentically different than every other bar in the area. Check it out.

Oh my goodness did we love this bar! Brooke - the bartender was so friendly and made you feel so welcomed! Thanks for being amazing Brooke! The bar’s vibe made you feel like you were at a small local bar back home. Drink prices were great! Highly recommend stopping here on your trip to NOLA.

Drinks are reasonably priced, many under 10 dollars, but there is a 10 dollar minimum on credit cards so it's a devious way to get you to stay for just one more. Lol. Great atmosphere.

When I’m on my deathbed and asked if there’s anything in life I would have again, it would be Erin Rose Bar’s Frozen Irish Coffee in an absolute heartbeat. As a tourist, don’t expect for the locals to be chummy with you, as they’re there to do their job and keep the pace going. Stay for the drinks and enmesh yourself in the atmosphere, but BY GODS there is a reason the best cocktail bartenders in the world rave about this place. Don’t.👏🏽 Even.👏🏽 Hesitate.👏🏽

As someone who would describe themselves as nothing more than bar fly. I gotta say this is TOP 5 best places to exist as a regular. Nothing more local. Nothing more genuine. Nothing more New Orleans. From the impenetrable fortress of bartenders to the absolute satured history it has to offer, there really is just nothing better. If it weren't for one "other bar" it would be my #1!! To top if off, it is ACTUALLY the best place to get an Irish Coffee hot or Frozen, no betta spot. If you're visiting New Orleans you gotta make this one of your spots. If you're the right kind of person you'll love it. Those who don't like it, good riddance.
This one goes out to all them beautiful people behind that bat that do the lords work day after day.

We were suggested to try the blended Irish coffees at Erin Rose, and they did not disappoint! They were very tasty (especially following the sandwiches from Killer Po’Boys in the back!) and great on a hot day. The bartenders were nice, and bonus points for the Giants gear!

If you pass by this place as you probably have you are so missing out. Bartenders are great, friendly people. Frozen coffee is amazing. This is a quite un assuming place half a block off Bourbon, and you should not skip this place.

The bartender Alex is LEGIT. Just popped in for a pint, he’s running and gunning on a busy bar. 20-30+ people. Super calm. Humble. Friendly. Will definitely be back!

So for food I can only really talk about drinks but I can say I NEVER go to NOLA without a visit to Erin. The frozen coffee is amazing. I bought a sweater from here before and now a tank top and my friend had never been here but wanted a shirt and to go just because of the tank 😀 this is a must visit when in town.

Our bartender Brook was a lot of fun, kept our drinks full! It was cold that day and she made the best hot Irish coffee we’ve ever had. I also had the frozen Irish Coffee…that is a must have with every visit to NOLA!!!

We have been there a couple of times on our recent visits to NOLA. It is very cheap and open almost 24h! Love the ambiance, the people, the small and old place and just a good feeling overall. Do yourself a favor and ask for a espresso martini 😉

Small joint that fills up quick. Definitely has all the characteristics of a dive bar, but didn’t feel dirty. At least by Bourbon street standards...

Killer Poboys in the back is tight quarters as well, but great sandwiches. We did the beer braised beef as well as the shrimp and both were fantastic. Drink prices were very reasonable for the French Quarter.

Get the frozen Irish coffees for sure. They are good any time of day or night.

Great stop in the quarter. We arrived shortly after opening and their Irish Coffee was excellent especially with the added floater/shot.

The guys were great as they poured a complimentary shot for us and everyone in the bar and took a toast!!

As a first timer to try the Irish coffee I can say after two-I was feeling marvelous to start my day up!
