I called today and spoke with Miss Lou and even though she didn't have my Adderall prescription in stock she took the time to explain to me why it wasn't in stock and best practices to share with my doctor. It's extremely frustrating when your prescription is out of stock but having someone with the patience and understanding to at least show you they care is priceless. Job well done Lou

This place has served this community above and beyond for many years. Especially those worked so hard in the pharmacy they go past any pharmacy I've ever visit to accommodate each & every customer. To not give a 10 stars 💫 rating is absurd, to each is own the team here is amazing and dedicated to their job the customers and assuring every person is satisfied patiently they've spoken assist & given their all to this community. To give a bad review due to medication not received or can't be filled early is selfish and wrong when you know they have laws placed. I just want to say thank you Nakitha, other Pharmacist & pharmacist tech for all your years of work passion and dedication without you'll many of us wouldn't have a place to get our medication filled. Walgreens employees has always addressed customers by name Mr or Mrs last name that's beautiful and showing you acknowledge, respected & loved. When arriving your not just anyone you are somebody

I just spent two days trying to get a prescription refilled at Walmart in Chalmette to just get a run-around. (Out of the pills and have no idea when they would have them). My doctor then sent my prescription to Walgreen's in Chalmette as this prescription was VERY much needed. I spoke to a wonderful employee in the pharmacy named Rashondna. This name could easily be misspelled but she was an angel from heaven; very customer service oriented. She expedited everything and even called me back to assure me my prescription had been refilled and was ready for pick up ASAP. I have never been treated so kindly and just want to give her some much needed recognition.
She should be "Employee of the Month"! Thank you SO VERY much Rashondna.

Joel was so helpful and greeted me at the door with a smile. He is a great asset to the company.

I had a bad experience with photo at another location some time ago. I ordered from this store and naturally, called to ensure the project was received and would be done. Miss Heather, the assistant manager, was very helpful. She let me know that it had been received, exactly where it was in her queue, and ensured me it would be done in time by her personally. Thank you Miss Heather for restoring my faith in Walgreens photo.

Monique was AWESOME! She was informative and quick. My daughter had to have pictures for school tomorrow. They had to be downloaded from my phone. Only one picture machine was working (it was being used by a couple) and it was 8:30 pm. Monique said I could do it online. Did that while still in Walgreens. Within minutes we had the pictures. She made it happen! Thank you Monique and thank you Walgreens in Chalmette (corner of Paris Rd and W. Judge Perez) for having her there.

I couldn't find what I was looking for and was about to leave then Ms. Rose (beauty consultant) stopped me. When I told her what I was looking for she informed me the product wasn't on the shelf yet and went to the back to get it for me. I asked her about another product that she also had to go back to the back and get it. I left very happy. Great experiences like that just make the day so much better! Thank you Ms. Rose!

It was an okay trip. Found the No. 7 moisturizer I was looking for, the store was clean, there was no line, and the staff was very courteous.
