Words cannot fully describe Bertha's Place. This place is definitely a spot for locals, and is open really late. When we first arrived to NOLA, we were looking for some place close to our Airbnb that was still open, and this place was packed and filled with fun vibes! Its a bar, restaurant, and dance club! Everyone was very welcoming, and it was a fantastic beginning for our short stay in NOLA. The DJ was amazing! One bop after another! We ordered Yakamein which is apparently a unique NOLA noodle dish with Chinese roots that was really homey, and was exactly what we needed that night. We also ordered fried shrimp and oysters, and those were really bomb. On top of a bunch of fries it was a great deal for the price! One of our favorite spots during our stay, and we'll be back to say hello to Bertha :)

Great vibes! Locals were very friendly and welcoming! Did not have a chance to try the food. Drinks were great and reasonably priced.

Really enjoyed myself here, Total vide on Saturday nights. Everyone was chill and not to many youngins. Definitely will be back to eat next time.

I went there with friends and it was empty, but the place was nice. It was clean too. It's an adult crowd 30 & up. The drinks are pricey. $8 for single shot E & J Brandy.

The atmosphere here is a total VIBE! Laid back, easy going crowd, not too many youngsters. Definitely a great place to hang out.

Keesha is the BEST bartender & one of the cook's also works at The Ruby Slipper in the CBD. Good food, good drinks. True adult crowd with no rif-raff.

Me and my friends enjoyed ourselves. You can only be 30 and up to go in. I and one of my friends are 27. With one of our friends knowing someone, they let us in. And once we got in and heard the music it was a time. I love me some R&B music but they played a mixture. I have an old soul, so I will most definitely go back. I got the pork chop plate also, it was good as fxck.

We were visiting from out of town and wanted to hang at a local spot. We heard about Bertha’s and had the best time! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was as well. Customer’s really do turn into family here. Bertha was the best

Good music Good people Good dranks Good vibe Good food. Grown folks doing grown folks thangs. Not the spot for those that cant hold their liquor OR those that don't know how to act. A must visit lounge for when you are in New O for Bourbon St...but you already did that.
Open until 3 am..so make sure you get yourself a plate before the kitchen closes.

Real New Orleans Environment... Bertha, her son and daughter in law assures everyone is treated like golden. The atmosphere is so welcoming and comfortable. I had a some much enjoyment..very refreshing and the music, drinks and food is superb...One of the best places to party...A1!!!
