Absolutely great fried chicken wings! Flaky and crumbly outside with a hint of spice. The order came out super fast, probably within 10 minutes of ordering. Don’t let this place fool you, it’s not only Chinese food in the south.

The wings here are well worth the trip. I first learned the lingo of "flats" and "drums" here and now I'm all the wiser. Get yourself here and enjoy ALL they have to offer.

The Best chicken in the city…Periodt

I had their chicken wings, and as a fried chicken connoisseur, I can confidently say they have the best fried chicken in a 1500 mile radius. We had to go back a second time in the same day to make sure, and the second time was every bit as satisfying as the first.

Great place for an inexpensive bite to eat. Being located in downtown New Orleans, parking is a nightmare but MANCHU'S is definitely worth it‼

Who would've thought that corner store food taste soooo good. This whole meal 10 wings half BBQ half regular with Cajun shrimp fried rice with extra green onion was 6.50 I am here for it all

Nice little store right next to the air bnb we stayed at. Great customer service & very decently priced. We ordered the fried chicken wings and they were moist and had so much flavor! 10/10 recommend!

Oh man, sooo delicious. I asked the girl ordering ahead of me what to get, and she said split an order between the regular and the bbq. Truth be told, I liked the regular fried a lot more.

Ate them in a backyard a block away with a cold beer — best on a steamy day. Unrelated, but a rooster jumped into the backyard at the same time. Yeah, I chased him. So what?

LOVE the chicken wings here! I almost never order or eat out chicken - but Manchu definitely gets my vote when wings are in order! (Haven't tried anything else yet).

Great for large groups, game days, pool parties, and other events - at a reasonable price for huge order! Be sure to call ahead (same-day only, if I remember correctly), and arrive early for pick - up because trust me, there will be a wait!

Really 4.5 stars... My only complaint is location and limited indoor waiting area. People are are literally wrapped around the building outside waiting for their orders! But that just let's you know how much we locals love it! #NuttieFoodie

Best fried chicken! Really bad area of town, I traveled here with my 5 yr old daughter. Lots of homeless begging for money, cigarettes and sleeping under the bridge. I felt fairly safe though overall. Food was amazing, cheap and get you get huge portions.

First time in New Orleans and took others' recommendations to try Manchu. The fried wings were great all by themselves. No sauce necessary!

Hands down the best fried chicken!!! I visited this spot based off the locals and I was glad I did. The chicken was amazing!! OMG!! I really can't stop thinking about it. The fried rice however was ok( I'm from St. Louis and in my opinion no one can make fried rice like we can). If you are in New Orleans please visit this place. The location is not the best but they get you out fast and you can't beat the price.

The egg rolls have pork so we got the 10pc fried chicken. It comes with fries or shrimp fried rice.
Order took about 5 mins to complete, they take card.
No dine-in.

Recommended to my friends and I by some locals, I can see why! Some of the best fried chicken I've ever had, and so cheap. Be sure to get the shrimp fried rice on the side!
