Wings Wings there are Wings and there is Turkey Wing. Plus POboy sandwiches lol. I must say this place have amazing food, It pack with local And you know the local always find the best food. Yeah sure you have to come off a little bitfrom the tourist area but boiii they weren't wrong never have Wings and Deep fryTurkey wing these good before Full of flavor pack of punch on em sauce. And the catfish Poboy oh boy delicious.

My mom and I went here. If you want po boys and hot boiiiz at the same time this is the place for you. Kinda wild, who knew you could deep fry anything. I swear if you ask jimmy(the guy behind the bar) $15 he’ll deep fry your sisters flip flops and it will taste like filet mignon. Anyhoo life’s good at V&T& me.

My wife and I arrived in New Orleans after a full day of driving. We were really hungry and really tired. Thankfully we found v&t food store. This is not a fancy place, it is a truly authentic neighbourhood place with amazing takeout food.

We got a couple of Po Boys (shrimp and hamburger) and took them back to our place, best sandwich I've ever had. No kidding. Oh I almost forgot, get the GUMBO. Brilliant. And kicks the butt of any fancy restaurant in the quarter.

We were so impressed we went back on Christmas Eve and got food for Xmas Eve and Xmas day, it was awesome.

The food was utterly amazing, people were friendly, they made us feel right at home.

The place can look a little intimidating from the outside but don't be fooled.

Highly recommended.

Best red beans and fried chicken hands down. Follow up: Tried gumbo today and it was so good. Best kitchen crew and friendly front staff crew.

We were actually looking for a BBQ spot according to Google reviews and they were out of business. Stopped in here to grab a drink for the walk back and found an amazing food selection. Ribs, chicken, mac and cheese, corn on the cob and on and on, and that's the stuff ready to go made every day. You can tell because it was all SO good. The owner was awesome too. It's unassuming from the outside, but you better get in there and get some food.

This place is amazing. I used to live in New Orleans but now I live in Texas. But I visit new orleans every summer and the first thing I do when I arrive is go get their food. It's one of the best things you ever eat. Everything there is good especially there shrimp fried rice, chicken, and po'boys. And there prices are low. Trust me you will not be disappointed.

Hot food and poboys. Can't go wrong. GREAT food.

Please demand that your chicken providers stop selling you chicken pieces so small, that they look like they were born the day before sale.The chicken taste great, but I am tired of paying $8 for chicken plates, when I get chickens that fit on a finger. They don't have to be jumbo, but be fair for the price.
