Pho 4 Star

This is my 4th visit here. So far everything I have tried have been very good. I tried the mango rice dessert last time and I loved it. So I ordered it again today. So far it’s one of my top 5 dessert. The staff are friendly and attentive. The place is kept clean as well. This place will definitely will be my new regular place to visit. Must try!

This place is consistently delicious! I love that when I order to go from their website, I can add on 32 oz containers of pho broth. I stock it in my freezer for when we get colds. Everything I’ve had here has been really wonderful - I love their rice vermicelli and hot pots. I’ve missed our favorite Vietnamese restaurant back home and I’m so glad to have found Pho 4 Star.

Great hidden gem for fantastic Vietnamese food! Service was great, food was delivered hot and quickly.

Great price for the amount of food you get! The food is absolutely amazing. I got a pretty plain order of chicken fried rice and cream cheese rangoons. Didn’t expect them to taste any different from other places.. but man was I wrong. I didn’t expect it to be THIS good! Our server was kind and professional. Walked in and immediately got a table. Phenomenal.

I ended up changing my review on this location . The food here is at the Universal city location remains excellent . My husband and I had pad Thai and shrimp sag noodles . It was all Very good and the portion size was good. I’ll be coming here again more frequently.

I must caution though , do not try their location on Evans . The cook at that location does not adhere to the original recipes and only gives you a very small amount of food . So you are left with both expensive ,bland , and small portions.

Pho was really good and the place was nice. I really enjoyed the beef rib pho 😋 the waitress was very attentive and I will definitely come back.

My Daughter and I ate at Pho 4 Star on Sunday. I was going to have the delicious pho again, but I decided to change it up. The food is predominantly Vietnamese, but they also have Thai, a little Chinese, and Filipino lumpia. Our appetizer of spring rolls and lumpia was perfectly prepared! I had the grilled beef and shrimp. The beef was tender and shrimp was very tasty. I tasted a little of my Daughter's vermicelli bowl that had a nice and savory sauce. The Chinese doughnuts were crisp on the outside with great texture on the inside. Everything was delicious! Our cashier named Non was very attentive and professional. I love the ambience there. They have a large menu - so many choices! There were only a few customers when we arrived, but it was crowded when we left. We will definitely visit again!

I have been coming to this restaurant since we found this place for 8 years! Pho is great, I would rank this place top 3 in San Antonio! Restaurant has also expanded and is much bigger than before. Plenty of space, great staff and delicious food!

Ate here on September 27, 2021. The location in New Braunfels was just as good of an experience. But I’ll be honest that this is the best Chicken Pad Thai I’ve ever eaten. If you’re in the Live Oak/Universal City area, don’t overlook this restaurant. It’s a really feel good location and the food has a great Spirit. Highly recommended.

Been coming here for years and can't believe I never wrote a review. I always get cheese rolls as an appetizer and the P4 steak pho. Absolutely delicious have never been let down, one of my fav local spots. Done done in and take out before, both pleasurable experiences.

My husband and I love this place. The staff are all friendly. The food is amazing I got pork vermicelli bowl and my husband got the P4 Pho. Highly recommended 😊

Delicious and consistent food quality.
We have been coming here for years but we had not been here in a while. I was glad to see that the quality of the food and the environment is still great.
The pho and Vermicelli is our usual go to but this time we decided to try the seafood and beef hot pot and the Thai beef salad. Both were great. Their hot pot has a better variety of veggies compared to others that we have trued here in town. The hot pot comes with beef, shrimp, clams, mussels, fish, squid, noodles, broccoli, carrot, cilantro, tofu, fried tofu, snap peas, bok choy and greens.
The dressing on the salad is very very tasty. Watch out for the jalapeño slices. We did notice that they also have meatballs for the vermicelli bowl and they were quite tasty.
They also have other options like fried rice, stir fry, good Asian beer selection and delicious fruit buble drinks.

The broth makes the pho. Some places you HAVE to add hoisin sauce, Sriracha and soy sauce (because there's no flavor otherwise), but not here. Wonderful, full flavored broth. You can taste the star anise and it's already a bit spicy. Good size and amount of beef strips. Plenty of fresh ingredients. This is one of the best places I've ever had pho! Staff is really friendly. My kids enjoy the popcorn chicken and we get them a side of rice. Well made bubble drinks. If we don't have time to eat here we call in and order to go. You get a lot in the to go orders, too. It's a regular feature in our week now! We definitely recommend this place! I added photos from a to go order. It's always A+!

This place is a hidden gem. Right off of 1604 and 35, easy to access, worth the drive. Food is excellent and the customer service is very good and efficient. If you need to get some good pho, this is the place to go.

Love the food here! Whenever I come to place an order, I always see the owners working hard alongside the employees. The food is always fresh and ready within 10-15 minutes. I defined recommend giving this place a try if you’re in the area!

Love this place! Very good food and they always give friendly and prompt service. The only thing that would make it better is the addition of a chili garlic sauce for the tables. The manager spoke to me and actively asked what they could do to improve and this was my recommendation. He seemed to take it seriously and promised to have it next time I came to dine. Couldn’t ask for better customer service than that!

One of the best pork chops.. the crispy ones. I think they are deep fried. It's perfect. The mango rice was a good dessert too especially because they use the honey mango. Most of the plates are around 12$ :) I will try the crispy salmon next time. They also applied the 5$ coupon for us on the local magazine. Thank you :)

The food is fresh, and well prepared. This restaurant is very well kept and very clean. All the servers are friendly and attentive. I really like this restaurant!

I got the spicy Thai fried rice and chicken and it was very good! Everyone’s plates looked good and there were no problems. The management and servers were very nice! I would definitely come back :)

Got a coupon in the mail for 20% off. Figured we would try it. I'm from Garland where there is a large Vietnamese community. To say I'm familiar with Pho would be a understatement. I love the stuff! I will say it was not the best I have ever had, the broth was missing some flavor. It is the best I have had in San Antonio. Service was great. They are very clean, observe social distancing, and enforce masks. We will be back!
