Hampton Inn & Suites Springfield-Southwest

This hotel is the best I've stayed at. Wonderful, friendly staff. Clean pool. Clean room. The bed is so comfortable, I slept like a baby. They even had a complementary wing and wine night. I would 100% stay here again.

The room exceeded our expectations. Very clean, smells good. We had an issue with the TV, and they delivered a new remote in just a few minutes.

Within easy walking distance to restaurants.

Wow! It may be my expectations of Hamptons are so low because I’ve had a number of “meh” and worse experiences BUT this hotel was a wonderful surprise. Clean. Friendly. Good bed. Pet friendly. Fabulous breakfast and happy hour. Reasonable rate. Not sure what more we can ask for. Great place to stop on your way to or from anywhere.

Yes, everything was very nice. Pool, location, and room was above average. Would highly recommend and will stay there again. Enjoyed our stay.(2023) Update...just stayed again(2024) during National Clydesdale sale. It was also our anniversary and we received a free upgrade to a suite. Very happy and will make this our go to from now on.

When we arrived we found some complications with our reservations. Phyllis the general manager went above and beyond to make it right and make us as comfortable as could be. Cleanliness and Breakfast were excellent. Would absolutely stay again.

Clean, nice location. Good breakfast and mgr special some evenings was great! All staff was welcoming. Only downgrade was a slow elevator.

This isn’t the newest hotel, the building and rooms are a bit worn BUT the hotel staff is constantly cleaning. The staff were incredibly helpful, the pool area was big and clean, also the exercise room. And breakfast was great, hot foods along with continental style. We’d stay here again.

I can't say enough about our pleasant experience here over a busy weekend. We had blocked rooms for our son's wedding weekend, and they couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly! They even gave us a room Sunday for the couple to open gifts. Despite the huge breakfast crowds, the food was great--wonderful selection. They kept up with it all! Beds were comfortable & everything clean. I highly recommend this hotel! The location is perfect for Springfield area. There are eating and shopping options within walking distance, and it's just off the interstate. The pool looked amazing--wish I'd brought a suit!

I got in late, slept to the morning and then left for work. That being said, the room was comfortable, clean, roomy and quiet. The morning breakfast smelled great and had a lot of different options to suit your tastes. There was literally nothing to complain about.

Nice. Clean. Great breakfast. Heated pool for kids is great. And good size. Bigger then Most pools in Springfield…

I thought that this was a great hotel and I would stay again. We were traveling through Illinois and stopped here for the day to see the Abraham Lincoln Museum. I felt that my car was safe in the parking lot and I thought their breakfast was very good. Staff was friendly too.

We loved staying at this location in Springfield. Friendly and helpful staff who have a list in the front lobby of recommended restaurants. Also, there is a free happy hour most weeknights and the breakfast menu varies each day. Hampton Inn & Suites, we will be booking many more rooms with you at other locations in the future!

AWESOME STAY! The rooms were clean and comfy, common space also very well kept. The breakfast was very well done, so many choices and all so yummy. Pool was also well kept and warm. All the staff we encountered were very kind. We travel quite a bit as a family and we absolutely recommend this hotel. Bravo!

It may be outdated, but by it is by far the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time. The staff was phenomenal, and always smiling and ready to help in any way! The pool was awesome, and they even had life jackets available for little ones. The breakfast was great, with way more options than any other hotel I’ve stayed at in the last 2 years. The breakfast stayed open until 10, and when my little one wanted a little more food they let him in even though it was a few minutes after 10. It just really felt like they cared about how every customers stay was. Corporate should definitely choose this spot to get updated, because it’s the best hotel around!!

The staff was excellent. They went way above to ensure our stay was great. All staff was very friendly. Room was very clean. The breakfast was out of this world for a hotel breakfast. This particular Hampton has been by far the best one we have ever stayed at. We alway chose to stay with the Hilton brand.

We stayed two nights. We called ahead before booking our stay, to see if the indoor pool was up and running, which it was. That was our main reason for our weekend getaway, to go swimming. Our King Suite, was very clean. Everything was in great condition. We had the pool all to ourselves and the hot breakfast was super fresh both days of our stay. Comfy bed, the air conditioner/heater was set on the perfect temp. We watched the Super Bowl on a good sized tv. It was a very cozy atmosphere. Employees were friendly. Good location. Accessible entrance and elevator.

I sincerely appreciated the warm welcome shown here. The staff were very hospitable, and the room was extremely cozy and comfortable. I really appreciated the soft cushy pillows as most hotels have very hard ones. The sheets were very soft and comfortable, and made for a very restful night. The breakfast had some very delicious choices, and I greatly appreciated the western omelets in particular. Thank you for an amazing experience and pleasant rest.
I hope to come back someday!

What a great place! Like so many other Hampton Inns, this place was clean and the staff was super friendly. Check in and check out was quick and easy.

If you're looking for a quality stay, stay here! This Hampton Inn does service like no other I've been to. They definitely know what it means to provide excellence!

Great hotel! Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and Great breakfast - probably one of the best ones I've had at a hotel. Only downside is bathroom didn't have Great ventilation but overall would highly recommend.
