Novella's Pizza: New Hudson

One of the best Pizza places! We had a great experience with the kids making pizza for a birthday party. Owners were great with the kids showing them the process to make pizza including a tour inside the walk in cooler.. the kids loved it! The pizza was delicious! We had a variety to try for the party, the crust was thin and crunchy and the pepperonis were those small quarter sized pepperonis that got crispy. We also had the Fig pig with arugula, figs, bacon and a balsamic glaze that was phenomenal!

Great pizza and a great experience all around!

I was really impressed today with Novella's Supreme pizza, the thin crust was delicate and crunchy, and the toppings were amazing (love the roasted garlic). The pizza sauce was very well done, simple and full of unadulterated tomato goodness. I have an interest in baking bread and pizza (look up Ken Forkish's books) and I have to thank Brandon the owner for the tour and conversation we had on how he selected his crust, sauce, and ingredients to get the results he was looking for. Great place, stop by and give Brandon some business at his first shop (of hopefully many). You won't be dissappointed...

First time in, tried the Michigan Cherry pie with my wife and my son had is own kids pie. Great service, clean restaurant, fresh ingredients! Doest get better than that, I will be back soon!

This is quality pizza.
Nice thin crust
Little bit of char which is perfect.
Price is up there but you get what you pay for.

Didn't get the Detroit style but if you appreciate a good thin crust you'll like this place.

Only thing I didn't care for was dining in the soft drink selection is lacking but I understand the feel they're going for

Great place to get a NOT run of the mill pizza. They have great Detroit style Pizza! The Garlic knots are a change to the normal bread sticks. They also have a Vegan Option. Good location with lots of parking. I haven’t not been there while you could sit down (due to Covid) but looks like they have nice seating with a great windows to look out from. If you are looking for a different pizza for Pizza night or just to get something quick on the way home this is a great choice in New Hudson Area. So glad we live close by!

A small pizza place with some amazing combinations on their pizzas. The "fig and pig" was interesting and tasty. I would have never thought to put fig on a pizza. Also got the Detroit style double Roni (2 kinds of pepperoni) with truffle oil. The carmelized cheese at the crust was perfect, and the pizza was pretty good. The meatballs were excellent as well.

Very good pizza. I have tried multiple toppings and found that pepperoni was the best. I found that the pork belly was somewhat lacking, the flavor was too subtle and easily overwhelmed by the crust/cheese/sauce. Regardless, i would still recommend.

Back from Italy recently and they make pizza exactly as I had it overseas. from the city/place that invented this stuff. I thought it was as good.
Seriously high quality. It was really quality, great food. Great small spot in town, dearly needed in that part of New Hudson. Chatted with the owner for a bit while we ate, legit dude, friendly guy and we are happy to support local places like this. If you live in the area you owe it to yourself and your community to support this type of place. I'm sorry I don't have pictures to post but we'll get some next time. Thank you guys for great dinner! Remember folks when you support local people like this, you support yourself, your community and so on.

New favorite pizza spot!
My husband and I are hardcore pizza lovers and we have both been raving about this pizza!
We’ve tried both the thin crust and deep dish and both were great (though we prefer deep dish).

A bit pricey but really really good. We got the fig and pig pizza and a Detroit style pepperoni. Everyone loved it. It's clear why the fig and pig is award winning! One of the better pizzas I've had, and the Detroit style was no slouch either.

They have amazing Pizza that has unique combinations unlike any other pizzas I've ever tried before. Their staff is very friendly and enthusiastic as well! I can't wait to go back!

Fantastic food!! We got the fig n pig pizza and OMG it was amazing. The truffle fries were outstanding. We had all of this from DoorDash while at a softball game at Milford High School.

Had my son's 3 year birthday party at Novella's. We had a pizza,salad and garlic knot buffet. Everyone loved the food! Especially the Michigan cherry pizza, yum. Great place and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend 100%

This place is great! The pizza is amazing, and the kids get to make it themselves! On top of that, the staff are fantastic. It's the friendliest place I've been to in AGES. My 7 year-old said, "I wish we could go back in time and eat at this place every day for lunch".

We got the Back Alley BBQ pizza tonight. It was delicious! The owner was up there and he was very personable and all smiles! I would definitely recommend going here and supporting a LOCALLY family owned business. :) We will be going back!

Perfect pizza every time. They even have those little pepperonis that curl into cups. Pizzas are just the right amount of crisp. Fresh ingredients, fast service, very clean restaurant. Staff is always friendly. We love having novella's right around the corner.

Previously had a issue with the staff, and choice of music. Spoke with Brandon, the owner and he stepped up to the plate and hit a solid triple off the wall. Bumping up to 5 stars. My favorite pizza!!

Remarkably delicious pizzas! Had two of their choices, looking forward to more, esp when they open their second location. Curbside servings didn't go well, though, too busy. Had to go in. Otherwise spectacular.

By far the best pizza in New Hudson or South Lyon. A little pricey compared to Jets or Cottage Inn but for taste and quality there is no comparison. If you like your pizza a little different and unique Novella's is the place to go

Consistently great, unique pies. The Fresco and Margherita top our perennial favorites. A little pricier than competitors, but Novella's never fails to deliver excellent quality, flavor, and service.
