The environment is great, amazing staff they are friendly all the time. They help you with any question. The manager Ana she is amazing and Angelo the guy on the front desk.

I go late every night. Staff is amazing and so helpful! Lucas is so attentive and he keeps the place spotless. After my last gym and what I went through their it means so much to come to a clean gym with friendly staff that are tentative and actually care about you. Other places I've been to have not been so friendly and the place has been discussing dirty this is like the opposite of that they're just very friendly and attentive and you know there for your every need , yet it's spotless and I appreciate that. I go late at night I kind of like time to myself and they're respectful of that as well. if I just want to be quiet and do my thing then that's fine, if I feel like being social that's fine too. The rest of the evening staff is just amazing. I'm so impressed! The only complaint I have is that I wish the bathroom and showers weren't so freezing. I mean it feels like the air conditioner is on full blast. I just wish they'd turn it down a little bit or something. Some nights I go in there and the temperature is perfect. But most of the time it's like a ice box. Other than that I couldn't be more pleased!

I love that I can bring a friend without me or them being hassled for a membership or personal trainer. Everyone is very respectful here!

Inexpensive and all their equipment works! You would think that wouldn't be such a high bar to clear, but I left an enormous struggling gym chain for PF.

Great! I have been a member for almost a judgement Free. Great atmosphere. Suggestions: Needs a Steam Room (At least) & a couple more showers.

Finally, a Planet Fitness on this side of the bay! I've gone to several over the last few years including Fremont, Blossom Hill, Milpitas, and San Diego. This Redwood City one looks big on the outside, but this one might be the smallest by far (imagine a space the size of your average Denny's for comparison).

This one upholds the standard and positive PF experience. Everything is still very new and clean. There are plenty of treadmills and ellipticals, but only 3 Smith machines and maybe extra space for about 2/3 people in the dumbells or stretching area. Unfortunately, they don't have yoga mats at this location. They do have 2 of the fan type rowing machines though!

I did see a lot of people signing up too. Just be wary of the peak hours because you might have to wait on the machine you want if you're not doing cardio. But the off hours are pretty empty.

Great Facility. Just built and recently opened, so everything is nice and clean. The staff is friendly. It’s a great gym. They have a tanning bed and a red light therapy machine too. It’s also an easy place to workout, even if you’ve never been to a gym before.

I love this gym! I’m fortunate to have this gym open at this location for many reasons. I’m super glad I don’t have to travel across the bridge to another location. I know a lot of people that give negative reviews simply because it didn’t open soon enough. We should be thankful planet fitness opened a location in this side of the bay period. Seems a bit harsh for someone to leave a negative reviews simply because they have no patience. Completely nothing to do with planet fitness. Planet fitness has offered me something even 24hr fitness cant, a real chance without contract to working out. There’s no way I could afford the upfront 300$ annual payment. For those saying it’s a scam and they keep charging when they cancel. All you have to do is call your bank. It’s simple and even 24hr fitness kept charging after I cancelled. Doesn’t mean I have to trash talk. A lot of it is the system. Not the employees. Planet fitness offers me a chance to get healthy at a inexcusable price and reason. I was diagnosed with a medical condition and this gym gives me a chance to recover. I know a lot of people have gotten spoiled with all the fancy workout machines. Planet fitness offers everything anyone could ever need to get healthy. Yes it’s small, but who really cares about the square footage of the building when the number one thing people should be concerned with is their health?! Seems a bit shallow. Anyone who’s serious about their health will definitely see the opportunity this gym has to offer them. That’s the truth. Planet fitness is a great place to start. Thanks to the young men at the front counter who signed me up. I was up all night with my child and came in like a zombie. :)

Wonderful gym, clean, new equipment, reception with great attendants, impeccable structure. I left a good gym, and came for a better one. It took a while for the inauguration, but it was worth the wait. And I loved the grape candy.

Great location, service, clean, plenty of exercise options and just a good environment overall

This is a newly opened location. It has all brand new equipment. The staff is very welcoming. I'm sure like other folks we waited for so long for this place to open with very little updates on when that would be. City inspections were the cause of delay. It's now open and operating 24/7. I love the location and the atmosphere there.

Great gym! Love the machine selection, and when I went in the afternoon the management seemed to be very helpful the staff member named Ben was very attentive and polite whenever I had questions.

Remarkable staff, Elsa gave me a tour of this gym, and I appreciated her excellent service! Pristine and new gym with a wonderful area for black card members that I am grateful for. We’re so fortunate to get a PF in Redwood City! The other PF gyms are far away so this is the perfect location for me coming from Palo Alto and Menlo Park! New Equipment in excellent condition.

Great place lots of machines no homeless people threatening to beat you up.

EDIT: Club opened. I like the equipment so far. They have Arc Trainers instead of the other Planet Fitness companies who are dropping them and going with Matrix. I like Life Fitness. They are a more reputable company for equipment. Glad this location didn't go cheap and get Matrix equipment.

Ivory enjoyed planet fitness. I’ve been going to the one in Milpitas and I can’t complain. I’ve been losing a lot of weight and I feel good. But I’m hoping the open the wind Redwood City pretty soon.

Newest location in the peninsula in redwood city. It's a bit on the smaller side so it may appear full. Solid location though nextdoor to Sports basement. This location was clean when I went, staff seemed to be attentive.

What stands out to me here are the Instructors and trainers. Like Bray, Anthony, Lulu and Ben. Personal did a great job hiring.

Really great place to exercise great environment staff very helpful and respectful you will feel good over there.

Been visiting this branch for over 2 months now. The staff is very friendly and fellow gymers are generally considerate.
