Zamaan Cafe

Ordered delivery and everything was superb! I was especially impressed with how tasty their hummus was. I got the Ginger hummus and Fulful hummus (spicy) and both were outstanding. I enjoyed the falafel wrap and stuffed grape leaves as well. Will definitely have again!

What a pleasure to have had Zamaan cafe when they first started in Ann Arbor’s east side, and now again rediscover Zamaan after quite some time (on the North side)- they are even better than I remember! The Karnabeet is delicious, as is the rice eggplant wrap, chicken shawarma, fattoush absolutely delicious. My very particular (as in picky 😄) bf loved the fattoush salad’s homemade dressing. We cannot wait to be back and take our parents.

A note on the dining room- it is not upscale, very “mom and pop” family business. It is clean and not pretentious.

Absolutely delicious food! The salads flavoring was delicious, the shish combos lamb was so filling and good, it was the best meat I’ve ever had!

The service was amazing. The employee there was so friendly, and so fast with the food!

The atmosphere was also very good. They had very good Lebanese music, and decorations.

Overall, this restaurant was one of the best!

Super friendly guy working the front. Food looks beautiful. Good prices. Also the shawarma is HUGE (look at my hand). 10/10. They give you a cup of water cause I dine in.

I’d say to get takeout from here, since the dine in experience is a bit lacking but its fine.

The fattoush salad is realllly good. I got the kafta too, was alright. I would say its a little dry but I did not eat it immediately. I honestly do not judge for not having stellar lamb, its hard to find.

The service was quick and friendly. I’d definitely come back and their prices are extremely fair.

Wonderful place, just a little place but full of atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is great and very reasonably priced, service is fast, can’t ask for anything more. Personal attention assures satisfaction and portions are large.

I got the meat shawarma wrap and my hubs got the riz bi dajaj wrap combo style with rice. Oh ma gash! It was absolutely delicious! We both agreed the meat shawarma was good -but the riz di dajaj was HEAVEN! Think chicken shawarma plus garlic sauce plus rice plus a few pickles to cut the fat. I wish we lived closer! Staff was friendly and we’ll definitely return when we’re in the area again!

The perfect experience. Food was amazing, everyone was friendly, and the portions are priced and sized appropriately. Clean and atmospheric, I have no complaints, only compliments. I will for sure be back

Delicious Mujadara lentils and rice. Very generous portions. Clean restaurant with music and friendly people. Highly recommended

The food was very fresh and delicious. This was very near to double tree where we were staying. We skipped it first night, assuming that food would not be good, and drove five miles for another one (will not mention name), but their food quality was worse. Tried Zamaan next night and were amazed. Highly recommended.

Great experience for us to try these Lebanese food in a friendly cafe.

Batinjan Bi Banadoura is more like soup for me, but I think they grilled the veggies and it gives a nice taste and a certain smell. I love the texture of the grilled cauliflower!!!! I'm a Big fans of it.
I can't finish the veggies so I took it home and ate it later. And guess what..... It taste more delicious!

Shish kebab is a highly recommended food here. The beef is tender, and comes perfectly with the onions and pickled cucumbers.

For the specialty foods, we can choose the side dish: soup or salad.
We tried both of them and we like the refreshing salad and delicious lentil soup!

We ordered Tabbuleh as well, but we don't think it is suitable with other foods we got. So I think it's better to ask them some suggestions.

And for our bonus today is the chili sauce. I am a fan of spicy food. Suddenly I thought about chili sauce, and ask them. And I got it!!! I am so happy to try it.

Food is fresh and well prepared. Some of the tables need to be replaced. Overall not a bad experience

We love the food here, one of our favorite middle eastern eateries in Ann Arbor. Can't go wrong. The owner, Ali, is also very kind and friendly.

Amazing Lebanese food. We were a big group so went for the "Feast for 4-5" and added a couple of Shish Kufta. Very satisfying and tasty. Only regret is that I didn't take lots of photos of the food to share. Definitely recommend this place to foodies and casual eaters alike

Take out every week. Wonderful wraps. Correct orders. Timely.

The Shawarma, greek salad and tabouli salad were fantastic, very tasty.

Food is not to bad. Never disappointed with the food. Came here for the first time 2 weeks ago. Wonderful lady up front made me love this restaurant more than the food. If your a guy coming here will make your evening better. She won’t dissatisfied you when she lays her eyes on you. Tbh that’s the only reason I come now

Amazing meat shawarma pita wrap, I get it AT LEAST once a week. My partner also loves the chicken fattoush salad, she gets it every time we go here. Great staff, they're all super nice. I always recommend this place.

Incredible food, had a great time going here with friends! Some really unique options like rose water beverages. Great for vegans and no vegans. A hidden gem for sure.

The service is here is truly excellent. These are people that really care about what they are doing. They are providing a service to society. The food is absolutely delicious. You should eat here. I highly recommend it.
