Dimo's Deli & Donuts

Opens really early which is an advantage if you want early breakfast before work. The food is fresh. The service is quick. The owner welcomed everyone with his hearty humor. The place is spacious and clean. I liked the wooden tables. Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food.

Apple fritters, donuts, and sandwiches are the best in town! Better than Zingerman's Deli in my opinion. Sandwiches are monster sized and great selection to choose from...plus burgers and fries!

Hidden in the menu is a falafel sandwich or platter that's great on a summer day. Love the owner and his humor. Brings a smile and laugh to all who walk through his door. 😂

This place is amazing the owner makes it even better .the Italian sandwich is incredible we nicknamed meat candy so good!! The donuts and everything else is equally as amazing.

The first time I had this place lol I hung up on dimo because I thought he answered the phone rude !! But I had my coworker order from there and he explained that that’s how he is and he’s actually always in a good mood lol I finally ordered and stood in line and realized how funny this guy is ! Thanks dimo for the free donut ! The atmosphere is really positive even though he’s yelling aha I like him ! & the food is Amazing !!!!!!!!!!!

Great deli sandwiches...not a lot of places around like this anymore. The owner is always there working, and greeting the customers. If you want a awesome deli deli sandwich, you have found the place! A iconic deli to Ann Arbor.

Today is "Shrove Tuesday", 2024. i bought a box of 4 custard paczki yesterday at Kroger's. Threw those out right after one bite - absolutely disgusting! This morning I bought four Custard paczki at Dimo's. SUPERB!! The wife and I split one after dinner tonight and the other three are in the freezer (they freeze very well. LOL) Thanks so much, Dimo's. You know how to do paczkis!

This place has fantastic food. I love the Turkey club and also their donuts.
My only complaint is I wish they were open more days. They are closed on Sun, mon and Tuesday.

Waleed is the man and Dimo’s is the best. Working at a local sports facility when people ask where to eat there is only ONE place to recommend DIMO’S. By far the best meal value around and once you get past his stick he is a fun loving great man.

This is my weekend shop for breakfast. The 5b with bacon on a garlic roll is beautifully done. Would recommend. His doughnuts are so fresh and soft, melts in your mouth. I wouldn't go anywhere else

Huge value!! A $10 sandwich is easily 2 meals. Fresh baked bread daily, in house. Great atmosphere - the owner likes to pick on you, makes you feel like family.

Things you may not know or see from a casual visit. EVERY single time I have asked for a food donation for my high school students, the answer has been yes.

The same employees have been there for 6 years, there is a very low turn over - they treat their employees well.

Generational family estabishment.

They use local good when they can, like better made chips.

This place is a must for any visit to Ann Arbor. They have a very nice middle eastern menu for vegetarians too.

Dimo always has the best food! Great people in here. The donuts are amazing as well! I would recommend their food to anyone! Stop in and try it for yourself!

I almost don't want to review this place because it's so special and always packed.....but it's an A2 gem. Just go and get a Sammy and doughnut 🍩.....oh and make sure you know what you want to order when you get to the counter or you may "get some encouragement" by the owner 😜

This is the place to go for AMAZING breakfast, lunch and bakery goods in the entire REGION. This is one of our weekly selections for my business for company lunch. The owner is an amazing person and very enthusiastic and entertaining! Highly recommend!!

Ordered a sandwich fo the first time and WOW. So delicious, and HUGE. Highly recommend the Manhattan Reuben and side salad, it will easily feed 2 people. (Grab some donuts while you're there!)

Yes, it’s all that and more. Won’t go hungry here and the place is non-stop busy. Never mind him yelling at you, it’s nothing personal…. it’s just who he is. He has a soft side, you just need to find it.

I absolutely love this place! One the best breakfast and lunch spots in Washtenaw county! The donuts quite often sell out, so get there early. The sandwiches are great and the portions are large. The service is very efficient and fast!

The best maple frosted donuts I have ever had, The sandwiches are huge and taste great. Plus I love how Dimo greets everyone.
