Sunrise Pointe Cafe

I had my baby shower hosted at Sunrise Pointe Cafe in their event space and it was absolutely perfect! Tawny and Nicole were so accommodating and friendly, they really tailored everything so that it would be specific to our day. They let my hosts come early to decorate and helped them make the space look beautiful. I could not believe how good the food was, and the service they provided was spectacular!! There was also plenty of free parking for my guests which was great. I would recommend to anyone I know to host their event with Tawny and Nicole!!

Tawny and Nicole are amazing!!!!!! Had my daughter’s Harry Potter baby shower with them. They were so helpful and the venue was beautiful!!!! Everyone loved the food. Highly recommend.

I have been coming here since Tawny and Nicole opened the store back before the pandemic. They have a lovely local atmosphere, they know our names, we know theirs. They know what we order. Their breakfast food is so good and they have a wide variety of pastries. Their cold brew is my favorite drink to get.

Such a lovely little coffee shop! Great variety of anything you could want for both breakfast and lunch, even vegetarian friendly. And of course, their espresso and coffee is superb. Highly recommend!

Very happy that Sunshine Cafe was recommended while I had an hour to kill...what a gem! Finally some good Americano coffee along with a lot of goodies.....breakfast sandwiches made fresh with various muffins along with other items to eat. They have a great seating area outside with a few tables. The staff is exceptional too...so thrilled this place is near my hair salon (Cause Hair Salon recommended)....now I can have a great cup of coffee while getting my hair cut...highly recommend.

This is a quaint place, with friendly service and delicious food. I had a bacon, egg, & cheese croissant with hot chai tea. Yum! Today's luncheon special was egg salad with bacon on artesian bread. I just had to try that as well. I ordered it to go and paired the sandwich with their fresh brewed iced tea.

The place was bright and cheery. The restroom was spotless. In addition to a great eatery, they offer catering as well.

The Sunrise Pounte Cafe is a great find. I can't wait to return.

Recently held my daughter's baby shower at Sunrise Pointe Cafe, I can't say enough about Tawny and Nicole and all they did to make this special day a success. They accommodated every request and last minute change, the space is immaculate and food was top notch but honestly their hospitality was the icing on the cake. I received such positive feedback from all of our guests and am so happy we chose Sunrise Pointe Cafe. We definitely will go back. Thank you!!

I finally had a chance to visit this cafe today, and I will absolutely be back! I ordered two coffees- nothing over the top, but still very good. The baked goods are really amazing. The muffin I ordered was so moist on the inside and perfectly crispy and sugary on the outside. Best I’ve had in a very long time, and absolutely the best in Dover compared to the other coffee shops. The morning glory bread was also super yummy. My husband declared the bialy bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich the “best breakfast sandwich he’s ever had”. I can’t wait to be a regular!

I also want to add that as a new mom I really appreciated the ease of parking and plenty of space inside. I brought my baby in her carrier, and the women at the counter were so sweet. It wasn’t super busy, and they even helped me carry my food and coffees out to my car!

Both Tawny and Nicole know hospitality and great food! The cafe is so clean and inviting, the baked goods and grab and go are so spectacularly displayed, you'll want to try them all. My go to for a quick snack or a meeting with a friend or colleague.

We frequent this cafe almost weekly for their delicious breakfast and lunch options. The lattes are amazing too!! Of course when it came time to plan an event they were the first choice! The space, food and service were absolutely impeccable. The blank canvas in which Tawny and a Nicole gave us to work with in terms of menu and decorations made it such a joy to work with them.

I highly recommend you check this place out for a quick coffee and a snack or to plan your next event!! Excellent catering skills and they have a liquor license!!!!

This was our first visit and will be returning! The açaí bowls were outstanding. The pastries are all home made. The coffee and Chai tea was also great. The best part was the service! The owner introduced herself and her staff was great!

Found this amazing cafe last year when I needed a place to sit and work for a few hours. The lovely ladies that own this place made me feel right at home. The food is fantastic, the vanilla latte is great and the warm smiles and laughs are my favorite!
The blueberry scones, bialys, açaí bowls and burritos are just a few of my favorite things. I can’t ever decide on one item when I’m there, so I usually end up leaving with a bag full of treats!
Naturally, when it came time to host a party, Sunrise was the first place that came to mind to cater our party. I was thrilled when I discovered that they offered catering services. Tawny and Nicole worked with me to develop the perfect menu for the event based on my requests, their recommendations, our location and the amount of guests. The menu turned out great! Everything was prepared exactly as expected and on time. I picked the food up and brought it offsite to our event as I prearranged. The food was plentiful and delicious. We received so many compliments!

I wanted to bring your attention to an event my wife and I attended Friday night. Twice a month at Sunrise Pointe Cafe at Pointe Place off Dover Point Rd in Dover, NH they have an event called Happiest Hours. This was our first time attending, though we have frequented this Cafe regularly. I'm telling you, we had the best time!!! They have live music, appetizers and small entrées so people can make an evening of it.

We started by ordering drinks. My wife ordered a decaf latte and I ordered the Espresso Martini. We also ordered the hot Reuben Dip with crackers(pic 1). OMG!!! This was ssoooo good. It wasn't too heavy on the meat, but there was enough to add that great Reuben flavor. Just delicious. The other dish they were offering was a Vegetable Lasagna, which we also ordered (pic 2). This dish was also really good and hit the spot perfectly.

It was a great way to kick off the weekend. My wife was just off work and I had my sweatpants on. It's a casual, laid back atmosphere where you can catch up with friends or start your weekend on a positive note. The live music was enjoyable and people were chatting amongst themselves. They do have outdoor fire pits for anyone that wants outdoor seating. The team is super friendly and prices are more than reasonable. I know we'll be back and I hope to see you there.

Interior was bright, cheerful, well organized and interesting.
The food, that is hard to explain. Let's say you have to try it to believe it. Its a treat for your senses.
Ive been to bakeries, and cafés across the country and if i were to choose my favorite this is it.
If i were to open one, this would be the one to emulate.

Clean and friendly. Lots of free parking. Excellent service. A limited menu, but everything is made fresh. I just had the sausage egg bagel and part of a poppy seed muffin. Some had to travel. The portions are comfortably large.

What a cute little spot, has outdoor tables with umbrellas or indoor bar-like window seating. Great iced coffee, not too much ice, which I like. They would make it as you want it OR they have a spot with all the fixins if you would rather do it yourself. Perfect lunches-to-go, I had a tasty chicken caesar wrap which was the perfect size and a nice price of $4.50! My hubby ate the salad with greens, feta cheese, candied mangoes, cranberries, and pralines. YUM. Also a nice price. My kids had the cinnamon chip scones, which they gobbled right down (I tasted them, they were not too dry like many scones, nice and moist and big enough to be breakfast.) The staff was super cheery and helpful and answered all my questions about where the coffee was from, a local roaster in Kennebunkport. You can buy coffee by the pound, which is great, we need less pretentious local coffee sources in Dover! Perfect spot in the new plaza right behind Patty B's with lots of parking. Will be a regular customer!

Bright and cheery with delish food(cheesecake in particular). They make breakfast sandwiches that are AMAZINGLY tasty. Cappuccino to sip and an atmosphere that soothes. I could just go on and on but you actually need to go in to experience these local women who’ve created this cafe- go now!

Great place for coffee and according to my daughter, the best hot chocolate in Dover. The staff have always been friendly, and welcoming. They have a great location with plenty of parking and outside seating so you can enjoy some fresh air and some sun. Hands down one of the best coffee shops in Dover.

My iced white chocolate latte was amazing! And so was my poppyseed muffin. Will forever be coming back to this place!

Great espresso, scones and tiramisu. Nice variety of baked goods Light, bright and clean. I will be back when in the area.
