Friends of The San Rafael Library is a great last stop for gently used or well-loved books. I know that donated books will be carefully handled. They also have a better chance of finding the next avid reader, because the books are systematically shelved. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

A nice well-organized bookstore with a wide selection. I happened to notice this the other day while walking to the record store, stopped in and found a book by Chris Hedges. The staff are helpful and welcoming.

Good selection of used but excellent quality books, friendly staff. Feel great not contributing to environmental waste buying new books and support our local library!
