Dr. Graham was ver thorough and professional. I went to the appointment expecting to be talked into bunion surgery and instead was given pros and cons in a balanced way. I would go back to Dr G if I have foot issues in the future.

Visit to orthopedics doctor was excellent. Everyone was very friendly. They let me know the doctor was running behind and the expected wait time. The doctor was prepared and did an exceptional job explaining the situation with my finger and the treatment plan. She did not rush and was very kind and thorough.

Dr. Odele was not only professional, thorough and kind but also took the time to explain my condition and treatment options. Dr. Odele and her staff made me feel welcome and cared for. I was very impressed with the meetings. I have confidence that I am in good hands under her care.

Was able to get an appointment with Orthopedics the same day I called following a referral from the emergency department from the day before. Only had to wait a few minutes in the waiting room. Doctor Dotterweich was friendly, clear, concise and discussed treatment options with me. His support staff were very helpful as well.

My experience with the KP Orthopedic department and Dr. McQueen has been an amazing positive experience. Very informative, helpful and concerned staff/team who work together to give you the best possible care. I feel very fortunate to have had Dr. McQueen perform my right hip replacement. The KP Orthopedic Department in San Rafael is a well run and organized Department.

Amazing staff, clean, quiet, clam and professional environment. I walked in Immidiately after work hours looking like a homeless person because of my dirty clothes yet they received me and attended me with genuine care and urgency. Medical Doctor, K.S. heard me out on all my concerns and made sure I was OK. I was taken well care while under their watch. God bless this beautiful ER and all the staff there as well 🙏 🙌 ❤

We met with Dr. Singh for a pulmonology consultation in March 2024 for our 17-year-old son. Dr. Singh was exceptionally empathetic and informative. He wasn't rushed and his recommendations were individualized (I've received copy/paste from other physicians in the past). When Dr. Singh asked questions, he let us know why he was asking questions. When he scheduled follow up studies, he let us know what he was looking for. He is an incredible physician.

Dr. Lafemina in the Pulmonary Dept is extremely engaged and considerate. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to thoroughly explain the function of the lungs, as well as to review any Imaging Scan and Lab Tests. He exudes confidence and, as a patient, you feel 'in good hands'.

Dr Hop Le explained everything. He made me feel relaxed and confident. He has a wonderful bedside maner. He knew my history which is so important to me. I did not feel like just another number. To top it off he made me smile and his work is beautiful.

Carolyn Bernstein is a wonderful, caring oncology nurse. She take care to ensure my concerns are addressed, and never rushes our appointments.

Dr. Air has helped me immeasurably with my back pain over several years. It's not overdoing it to say she changed my life. Now I'm in front of the pain instead of chasing it. She's great at explaining what's going on and how to treat my back problems.Chronic back pain can be all-consuming and Dr.Air showed me the path to effective self-care with a minimum use of medication. I had surgery at Kaiser Permanente in San Rafael. The staff was most courteous, kind, attentive and knowledgeable! The nurses in peri operative area, OR, and the PACU were outstanding.
The anesthesiologists were thorough, kind and explained the process clearly. The surgeon, Dr. San Mateo was the most amazing, kind, skilled, and compassionate!
I received the most impressive care and am very grayeful! Thank you Kaiser Permanente!

Overall, I have been disappointed that Kaiser hasn't been more proactive in determining a diagnosis for my chronic pain. That said, my recent experience with Dr. Saunders was exceptional. He took his time with me, spoke at a relaxed pace and encouraged me to take the time I needed to locate the sorest spots on my back and flank. He had a very calming and reassuring presence and I was anxious because I had never met him and have been in a lot of pain the last three weeks. So there was a lot of tension in my body. It has only been two days and so far I have not experienced relief from the injections, but it is on the early side and things may improve. I would request Dr. Saunders in the future because of his demeanor and professionalism. The injection were not painful...merely uncomfortable...and he was very skilled in his delivery of the medication.

I had the most expeditious care, the team at Kaiser San Rafael really moved things quickly in a scary situation. All at the same time providing compassionate care and emotional support. All the services were coordinated easily, I didn't have to do anything. The doctors were all talking and conferring behind the scenes to make sure I got everything I needed done quickly. Thank you!

Dr Saunders was a very pleasant and knowledgeable specialist. He explained my situation using the MRI and other techniques to make me aware of my diagnosis. He listened to what I wanted for my treatment as well, and we both came up with a plan. I feel lucky that Dr Saunders will be my spine specialist.

I appreciate having doctors willing to take the time to listen and use guided questions to elicit information from me both narrow diagnosis and then to train me, the patient, to understand how to responsibly manage my health. The integration of all patient records and all laboratory and imaging services under one roof speeds up and simplifies the patient experience.

Dr. Carlos San Mateo is a fantastic colorectal and cancer surgeon and is so professional and has the best bedside manner ever. His expertise and team are top in the bay area. Thank you so much for all you’ve done for me!

Dr. Barton impresses me, over several visits, with his commitment to me as a patient and his willingness to carefully explain options and procedures. The nurses at the registration window and assisting in the Derm Department are extremely friendly and helpful. I am very happy to be in their care overall.

Dr. Chow was great! Took time to explain my options, turned the monitor so I could see it which felt like transparency. He was kind and smiled even from behind his mask:)
