Don’t know where the bad reviews come from. The owner Eiko was super friendly and accommodating. I tried on a few things and she even gave some recommendations . Eventually decided on a Type 1 Century Denim Jacket. Would recommend to any Japanese Americana fans in the Bay Area! 11/10

Wonderful store, really great selection of clothes & jewelry. Custom pieces and curated items. Nice selection, lovely quality. I found the staff to be wonderful and were very helpful. Made a bracelet for me on the spot and took a lot of care to make it right. Will definitely be back!

The staff are engaged and knowledgeable, and stylish as anything.

Cute shop carry a tightly currated selection of Japanese designer clothes like Kapital, FITH, Porter, and various unique accessories. The shopkeeper is very friendly and eager to talk about back stories, San Francisco's retail scene, and just life. One of the most endearing parts of the store is their small selection of kids clothes. You can never get started too young on becoming a fashionista, and this is leaps and bounds above 99% of what is available. You'll pay a premium for it, but fashion has always required some effort. Overall, strongly recommend visiting this store.

Awesome shop in Hayes Valley that carry Kapital! The store is small and easy to shop.

Staff is friendly and ready to help without being annoying and pushy. I was encouraged to try on and luckily found something that fit to my liking and left with an indigo tee. Checkout their bananas, they're super rad and sell out quickly.

Will definitely return. I love walking my dog by the storefront in the early morning to see the cool merchandising they do on the front mannequins. Love the style and feel of everything

Been over a year and a half since my last visit. This is a family business which is what I like because I get to know the individual members. The store is always put together and clean. Japanese boutiques emphasis details and this is no exception. Overall visit was great and real the focus of individualize service was key. Store was clean, price point is higher but not much like Neimans Marcus and such.

Family-owned institution with folks knowledgeable and passionate about the products they bring to the US from Japan. If you are looking for something unique, this is the store to find it. If you are a denim-head, they assortment they have will wow you. My 3 year old daughter loves wearing the unique designs of the brands they carry. I personally love their jewelry. Worth checking out.

we love this store. it's never easy to find interesting and unique clothes for your stylish baby, but cotton sheep delivers - at a price. its a lot of expensive japanese stuff that is imported and made more expensive but the quality and design is amazing. from fun shocks to handmade coats, this place delivers! whether for your own child or a gift, you're guaranteed to find something awesome. in regards to the comments on service, we did not have a problem but they do try to run a strict store and don't allow talking on cellphones while paying (which i personally think is rude). my wife and i have also lived in japan for many years so may have a better connection to the owner. but either way, well worth a visit!

Very beautiful store. If you are looking for Kapital, this place has a great selection of Kapital pieces, ranging from current-past seasons. The staff is very engaging and helpful with information, seems very passionate about their curation of beautiful Japanese clothing. Would recommend stopping by.

A beautiful shop, very well curated, thoughtful customer service. The pieces at this shop are very unique- many of the Kapital pieces hand selected by the shop owner cannot be found anywhere else, even online; you can’t come to to shop expecting the same prices as you’d get for similar Kapital pieces online ! This place only makes sense to those with a certain eye. If you value unique one of a kind high quality pieces, an artful ambience, and customer service that strongly represents the shop’s unique character, you will find many great investment pieces!

Best shop in San Francisco! Eiko hand picks specialty items and has an amazing eye! The service is warm and lovely. The designers are unique and devoted to their craft, whether it is jewelry making or handmade scarves. I drive all the way from Palo Alto to get my fix! Thank you for creating such a unique, beautiful shop - a little piece of Japan! ;-)

I love this shop! They have a very tasteful selection of carefully curated Japanese and Italian menswear that I love. Excellent customer service provided by knowledgeable and friendly staff.

The best Japanese clothing outside of Japan. Lovely owner. It’s my favorite place to buy a unique gift or special piece of clothing.

Awesome shop, has some really cool authentic clothing. It seems like a good deal of their offerings have awesome stories and craftful people behind each offering.

Eiko was super nice and helped me pick out some awesome fits. 10/10 would come here to be convinced to spend a stupid amount of money again.

Some good Japanese stuff

素材やデザインに物凄くこだわりがあり、また幼児向けのかわいい靴下なども売りにしており、それがすごく人気でした。
皆さん全員親切で、とても価値のある時間を過ごさせて頂くことが出来ました。

またいつか、行きたいなぁと思います。
