Great staff who explain everything (what’s necessary and what’s not depending on your dog) and care for my senior special needs dog beautifully. Love going here so even after we moved far away we return. Dr. Helmer is brilliant and kind, as are all the staff.

This place is the best. So caring for our (somewhat difficult) 3 year old cattle dog since she was 8 weeks old. I’ve sent tons of panic emails over the years of various health scares whether we’re in town or away and they always respond promptly and really care. Grateful for all the people at Presidio Way!!

Very nice staff and vet! Just like going to my people doctors or dentists, they kept us informed of all our options and the pros and cons of each. We're definitely going back for follow-up appts.

Presidio Way Vet and Dr Helmer were recommended as the best vet and clinic in the city and that has been our exact experience. Dr Helmer and team are so kind and show such care for their clients (both human and animal). Dr. Helmer and the entire staff at Presidio Way Vet Hospital are kind, caring and incredibly thorough. I don't think our cats could be in any better hands - my one cat, Benji, has been dealing with some health issues and Dr. Helmer makes sure to check in on Benji daily - even over the weekend. The quality of care is truly unmatched. I've had many pets over the years and this is the best vet office I've experienced. We are so grateful to everyone at Presidio Way!

Dr Link takes such good care of our dog Honey. She’s pretty high anxiety (the dog not the doctor) and is usually very nervous before going in but always comes out happy and feeling much more comfortable which is a testament to how well the staff treat her there. You can sense the genuine care and concern for their patients when speaking to them and I’m so glad we found them as a resource to keep Honey happy and healthy.

Dr. Helmer is amazing doctor. She truly cares about animals and wants to help. She is patient and always responds to the questions. Staff is always friendly and appointments are scheduled quickly.

Great folks. Had to come in for a heart worm test after moving back to SF and they’re an honest, straightforward veterinarian practice.

Hands down the best Vet Hospital I have been to. Dr. Chatoian, Cecilia, and Maria were absolutely wonderful. My cat Randy was having some serious health issues during Covid pandemic time, and while other places were “too busy” to take him in, Presidio Way took him and treated him and walked me through the whole process. Their prices are so fair too. TRUST ME, take your pets here!! I’ve been to a lot of vets in the different cities I’ve lived in and this place IS IT!

Have been here for years and have great experience. Everyone is very nice. Currently they have good protocol for COVID. You can drop off and pick up your pet at the front door. Doctor will be calling you for all the questions you have and telling you any problems.

I followed Dr. Kim here from our old vet. She's the best! Very caring and compassionate. The staff are all gentle and sweet towards all the animals that come in. I have no doubt my pet is in good hands when we go.

Dr. Helmer is fantastic. My current dog Finley and my previous dog Sam are and were happy customers!

My only interaction with them is after my baby girl passed away and I had to have her cremated. They were very kind when I dropped her off. When I went to pick up her ashes, there was a condolences card signed by the whole office and an ink of her paw print inside.

I highly recommend this office. They have great doctors, especially Dr. Helmer who you can tell cares deeply about animals and that comes in her demeanor and approach. Staff is friendly and thorough. I bring both my pets here and am very happy with the care they provide.

Everyone here is helpful, kind and patient. Whether it be the front desk, vet techs, or the doctors, I have always felt my dog has been cared for compassionately. Thank you for all you do.

Doctors and staff are always friendly and helpful! They reply to emails and phone calls quickly which is a huge help when non-urgent issues arise.
