Chinatown Him Mark Lai Library

I love my local library. It is single handedly helping me better transition into my early days as a stay at home mom. I like that the children's section is a separately floor, and the story time area is a separate room. That makes it less stressful if my little one starts crying, and as he gets older that will make me feel better about his safety. Some of the children's librarians are starting to recognize me, and they make me feel welcome. The summer reading program is a great excuse to get out of the house, and I appreciate that they encourage reading from birth.

I needed to leave San Francisco, but it wasn't because of anything that happened in the library. The patrons are well behaved, and it's easy to follow staff's rules. Recommended.

Perfect place to get some work done. Warm in winter and there's usually desks available. Great collection of DVDs, if you still have a player.

A haven for if you need to get work done - it's quiet and has a decent selection of books. Plus the staff are kind and accommodating!

Truly incredible that Chinatown has it's own Carnegie Library built in 1921. Historic, beautiful architecture. A jewel.

This is the nice and the beautiful place where the east meets west and it's the perspective of San francisco.

Climbed up from the all the way below to the top. You have to do it once in your lifetime when you get a chance
