Interior Define

Brandon helped me with designing and purchasing my new sofa and chair. I recently moved into a new space and the room is long and narrow, so I wanted to find a sofa that fit the space but also included as much seating as possible- all while being comfortable, cute, and dog friendly.

Brandon listened to all my requests and narrowed down my options, making the process feel less overwhelming. I'm so happy for my furniture items and can't wait to see them in the space.

I'm a repeat customer of Interior Define, and this review is based on my recent purchase of their fantastic couch (my second from them!). Both this purchase and my first experience were outstanding.

While some online reviews mention delivery delays, I had no issues. During the buying process, Interior Define clearly communicates estimated delivery times. My recent couch was quoted at 8-10 weeks, and it arrived right on schedule in 8 weeks.

More importantly, I received exceptional service from Brandon, one of their designers. He provided exceptional support throughout my purchase, going above and beyond to ensure a smooth and positive experience. If you're considering Interior Define, consider yourself lucky if you get to work with Brandon!

I was referred to Interior Define from my friend who is also an amazing interior designer! I took a drive to San Francisco to check everything out in person and I'm so happy I did. I met with Brandon and he was an absolute dream to work with. He was so patient with me during the entire process. I have a hard time making big ticket decisions and he was there to help me every step of the way, all the while not pushing me to make a fast decision when I wasn't ready. He was so attentive by answering my emails on a timely basis, which there were a lot, and when I was ready to finally order, he was made it so easy! And the best part - we absolutely LOVE the couch. Love the color, love the style, the cushions - everything! I'm so happy with it all, I can't recommend Interior Define and Brandon enough!

We have been eyeing the Sloan Sofa for a bit now and decided to pop in yesterday to experience it in person. We were greeted by Andrea, who was great and personable. We were quick to decide that the Sloan Sofa was perfect for our home. Again thanks Andrea for helping us pick out finishes and finalizing our order. Looking forward to our surprise in August.

This review is for our in-store experience: We went into the showroom after making an appointment with Brandon. It was great to see a lot of options in person and be able to test out some of the furniture, since ordering a big purchase like this blindly online can be scary. Brandon was super helpful, taking his time and showing care for our project. We were able to test out different furniture, depths, cushion softness levels, and look at all the different fabric and leg options until we made a decision on what would work for us. He gave us a lot of individualized attention, great suggestions and feedback, and was able to create a custom sectional for us that had everything we wanted and needed. He helped us place our order as well. We don't have the sectional yet, but after seeing the showroom, Brandon's help, and getting reviews from friends, we felt confident enough to make the purchase.

Excellent experience with Brandon and the team at Interior Define. Everyone is so knowledgeable and is happy to bounce various design ideas out there. It’s pretty great when the most difficult part of buying a custom sofa was choosing a color because ALL of them are gorgeous! Can’t wait for my new sofa.

Brandon Bamgarner from Interior Define is a wonderful designer! He put together a few great pieces based on my taste and needs. He was very helpful, promptly responded to all my messages and questions about the furniture I had in mind. Delivery will take longer than the usual 3 to 4 weeks, it takes 10–12 weeks to Interior Define to build and deliver, but I believe it’s worth the wait. The pieces that Brandon designed are outstanding. I can’t wait to receive my order. Thanks Brandon!

The experience I had with Brandon was exceptional. He was very helpful answering all our questions and followed up without being intrusive or pushy. I hope the sofa we ordered will look good to keep up to the positive experience me and my wife had so far with Brandon.

Caveat of this post as this is not a review on their actual furniture but on my experience in store with ID’s team, specifically Brandon. Brandon was so kind and helpful in this very painful process of finding the right couch. I was pretty set on buying a different brand but I had already scheduled an initial consultation; I went in not expecting much. Boy am I glad I kept this appointment! Brandon was such a breath of fresh air, welcoming and not all pushy/pesky with making a sale. Brandon is very knowledgeable of ID products and material and it felt like Brandon was just sharing his 2 cents on furniture shopping. He suggested beautiful swatches to take home, offered suggestions, but not at all in a pushy way! Brandon was also very responsive to my many emails; which was so appreciated. In the end, I bought the James couch and Lawson swivel chair from ID. Thank you Brandon!

So excited that I’ve just put in my order for custom living room furniture perfectly suited to my unique preferences for far less than I had budgeted based on the “off-the-rack” prices of comparable retailers. While I love to save money, the most important part to me is that I was able to order colors and configurations that are uniquely suited to my style preferences and somewhat challenging room layout - options that just were not available elsewhere. I’ll update this review once the furniture has been received, but am feeling really comfortable given the excellent design assistance and hand holding I received (thank you, Brandon!) and having invested a few hours driving time to see the amazing fabrics, confirm the quality construction, and test out the various cushion options in-person at the San Francisco store. My advice at this point … order those swatches!

Review for SF Showroom in-store experience: We walked in on a weekend afternoon and were greeted by Alise. We had been looking for a sectional and I had looked at the website. It was great to go in the store and see all of the options in person and look at larger fabric samples. Alise was really helpful in talking us through all of the customization options (legs, cushions, fabric, size). They were also able to customize the size more specifically for our space than we were able to do online. We took some fabric options home and Alise sent us a quote with all of the customizations we had discussed and helped us place the order the next day. Overall it was a great shopping experience and we can't wait for our new custom sectional to arrive!

Working with Alise was an amazing experience! She had such a bright and positive attitude the entire time. She more than willingly helped us find the perfect fabric for our new couch. We had such a great experience at the Interior Define showroom! I had been eyeing the Caitlin lounge chair for months, but was eager to try it in person (I live in Sacramento, so close enough but still a drive). We were in the area flying back into SFO, and Alise graciously made time for us to stop by for a special appointment shortly after end of business hours. She gave us great feedback when it came to selecting the right shade of green velvet to go with our pink dining room, as well as advice on the size of the coordinating ottoman. She gave us the confidence in our decision and sent us home with a quote to think it over, before pulling the trigger a few days later. The entire process was smooth and easy. It's so great to work with someone who is knowledgeable about design and just as excited as you are to turn your home into a great space. Highly recommend to anyone!

After reading conflicting reviews online and not being sure if this place was legit We drove from West Sacramento to the sf showroom to check it out in person. Let me tell you, we were blown away and pleasantly surprised by the store and the staff. We were attended to promptly and they kindly answered any questions or concerns that we had which made me feel super reassured. Brandon and Andrea were amazing and so helpful! Thank you!

Online shopping for sofas is hard - we were excited to visit the San Francisco showroom and try different types and styles in person. Once we got there, we were pretty overwhelmed by all the choices, but Hanniel was quick to help guide us through different finishes, layouts, etc.

I must have sketched out a dozen different living room layouts, and she was great following up over email with ideas and tips to help us finalize our choice. Production and shipping is tricky these days, but their after sale service was super helpful. Michelle T provided regular order updates and was very proactive keeping us in the loop as things progressed.

We also loved the leather armchairs too, and added some to our order after seeing them at the showroom. Months later, everything arrived and we're quite happy with how it all turned out!

We met with Brandon in the Hayes Valley studio and he was really helpful in helping us choose the right chair, chair legs and fabric. It great that everything is able to be customized. We placed the order easily and the chair will be delivered in 8-10 weeks.

Brandon and his team at Interior Define San Francisco are amazing! Brandon is so knowledgeable about design and of course, Interior Define products! He goes above and beyond to make sure that your design decisions are suitable and diligently well thought out. He loves what he does and it definitely comes across through his passion for perfection and his attention to detail! He gives 110% in assisting his clients! Andrea is a gem too!

Received a corner Dorian Banquette corner bench. It took awhile, but well within the time quoted. It was very much worth the wait - I absolutely love it. Looks great, comfortable, and is well made. Thank you!!!
