GREAT wine shop. I don’t live very close by, but I regularly make it a point to come here because their wine selection is extensive. They’ve got wines from Europe, North America, South America, Australia. And they have a good deal of sake, shochu, and the like from Japan too. The people here are great—friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. The tasting events are really fun, too. Shout out to Francesca for her wonderful hospitality!

Amazing wine selection in downtown. Reasonably price especially for the location (convenience). Worker was very helpful and not pushy when it came to the trade offs in varietal and costs. Genuine folks.

This place is aweosme! Gave me a great wine recommendation and were super attentive. Very knowledgeable and super welcoming! I will be back for more great wine. They have a great selection of snacks that pairs great with your wine of choice. Some delicious bubblies that I will get when I come back sooner then later. Thank you. They also sell cork screws which I definitely needed.

Amazing selection of wines from around the world, staffed by people who are both knowledgeable and friendly. Great for tastings and learning about wine in their well received wine seminars. Strongly recommended of you are a wine aficionado.

I live out of the area and bought some Italian wines as an anniversary gift for my husband on their website. Paul e-mailed me asking if I wanted the wine shipped on ice or wait for it to be shipped when temps were cooler due to the heat wave. I asked for it to be shipped on ice as it was a time sensitive gift. The wine arrived the next day still cool and wonderfully packaged! Amazing customer service!

Hands down best wine shop in the city. Lee has the knowledge of a professor. Large and well curated selection of interesting bottles from the Bay Area and around the world (I particularly enjoyed the orange and amber wines). Beautiful store and unpretentious vibe where it’s easy to while away an hour. And the prices are competitive. What more can you want?

Great selection of all my favorite standby spirits and quite a few interesting and new small batches. I prefer gin and bourbon and I am quite happy here. I haven't taken advantage of their wine experts yet. They also have a beer cooler wall with quite a few microbrews. The prices are also very very fair. I'm not cringing when I get rung up but I also don't feel like i found a steal. Great place.

Good food, exemplary service, and a superb selection of wines in comparison to other places I've been to before. The place wasn't so bad both of their interior and exterior designs. The staff was very professional and knowledgeable of what they sell to. The ambiance is nice and has an affordable price. Five-stars to this wine shop.

This store is BART Convenient, great selection of Champagne including hard to find producers, largest Burgundy selecion in Northern California, and a griendly, helpful staff.

An excellent store for above-average-priced wines. Great selections, especially for off the beaten path bottles - like Gravners and and Qvevris. Madeiras and related wines worth checking out. Excellent choices for regional wines, like the ones from Etna.

Three times we asked for opinions and recommendations. All three times the responses were spot-on and exactly matched out experience with the purchases. And that expertise of theirs results in a very good, although not vast, choices for good value bottles.

Also recently used their internet shop to deliver to Financial District. Free next-day delivery with a 15-min courtesy call. Perfect execution - all as ordered, no surprises.

One of the best selections of international wines I have seen in the Bay Area. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I have gone with their recommendations a few times now for special occasions and have never been disappointed. Prices are reasonable.

I had a very specific list of Champagne that I wanted to buy, and Flatiron had 2 of the 3 in stock and for the best price on the internet. I called to ask about delivery and alternatives to the 3rd bottle that was out of stock, and Sara was absolutely amazing. She managed to find the elusive 3rd bottle that I required ( a larmandier bernier) and provided some great alternatives. It arrived very well packed. Highly highly recommend.

One of the best Italian wine selections (brunello, barbaresco, barolo, friulano, vermentino, etna rosso, I could go on...) I've found in any shop here in the States. Impressive. And always willing to spend time with me to talk about my purchase, the food pairings that might work well, and help me find great new wines to try. I'm very lucky they're close to my office in SF because it's super convenient to shop for a bottle or two for the weekend and hop right home on BART. But if it's not convenient for you, find a way to get here if you're looking for a fantastic selection of Italian fine wine (which is something I happen to love).

Great wine store with large selection. Only one of two places in California I found that had a specific Chablis I was wanting. Beau was very accommodating in ordering more for me when they were out of stock.

Free tastings almost every day! Came in for a wine tasting but was really impressed with their collection of bourbon and rye whiskeys. Lots of things I'd never heard of. Eager to come back and pick some up.
