Andronico's Community Markets

My favorite place of groceries in the neighborhood. Wanted to share that you have an employee at this store that goes above and beyond the call of duty with excellent customer service skills. She works at the Deli Counter. Her name: Carlotta. Please pass this information to her manager: Dylan Atari.

This is a smaller store than the one on Irving St. that I've been visiting for years, but since it's right in my neighborhood, I find it serves my needs well, and there's also a CVS store right next door, which is convenient. As usual, they carry most specialty items you don't often find at Safeway, which actually operates the stores, so you can still earn points with the club card. It's a win-win for me!

Its the best supermarket in the Richmond district, I was born and raised here, I remember when it was Safeway. I love the community feel and the spirit of the store. Its nice to our local neighbors employed, everyone in the store is so helpful.

The woman with the dark hair at the information desk is so nice, and didn't judge me when I was looking for the tea leaf salad in the wrong salad section lol. Definitely check out their premium salads, they are delicious and sometimes you can buy too and get them half off. They are near the cheeses.

I find the quality in meat good too, similar to Bryant and Cal Mart.

Quick in and out today for bread and 3 dairy items. Usually there'll be a great selection, sometimes low on full-fat versions that are popular in this area. Artesian bread selection can thin out after noon and on Sunday.

Fancy Safeway. But you get what you pay for and it's great quality.

Butcher, Deli, and sandwiches are great! Great lunch options too.

A nice, upscale grocery. Very convenient location right off the #1 Line. Selection is not huge, but is nice. Good looking deli. I will have to get a sandwich sometime. Just two self checkout positions, and one cashier, but on subsequent visits they had more registers open. Meat and fish looked very good. I was looking for nicoise olives (very random) and they had them. Also some other condiments I may want. I'll definitely be back.

Great market in the neighborhood. Selections from budget friendly to gourmet. Smaller than a lot of other stores, but still has full service departments. Friendly staff!

After nearly a year in business, Andronico's seems to be settling into their groove. Shelves are stocked, staff is friendly, and the store still looks great!

I love this store! Their item selection, albeit a little pricey, is always quality and fresh! The workers at the front desk are always helpful and friendly. The bagger Nick is always nice and loves to carry a conversation! 5 stars!

Andronico's is very cool. A little pricey but they have a wide selection and the people that work there are very friendly.

It is a SUPER Market! I love their fresh ready to eat soups. I scoop some out into a little container, buy it, and walk to the park. Delicious!

First of all, I was SHOCKED to accidentally find Andronicos on Geary and 32nd Ave in San Francisco.. I used to love Andronicos in Berkeley, CA!!! Great prices, clean , spacious store.. Happy employees... Safeway owns it now, though? That's great, as Safeway is one of my favorite grocery stores💖

Surprises await!

We tried the fresh breakfast wraps only 5 dollars and sushi. Both were delicious. Staff is really nice too.

Great selection, high quality products, great customer service, neat and clean interior that feels like a whole foods, and Safeway club card benefits as well. Will never go back to Safeway!!

A great market with familiar brands as well as specialty, gourmet, organic & locally sourced products as well. Andronico’s also has a great selection of produce.

Clean & nice variety of goods. Staff is friendly! Prices can range from a bit high to moderate. They have meat counter, bakery, deli, hot foods section.

Nice new grocery store! There are self checkout stations and registers also. Lots of local goods and a wide array of items. They take Apple/Google pay also!

Good variety of fresh vegetables and fruits.

Do not buy ANY guacamole or salsa item sold in this store. Whoever is in charge is that has no taste buds. Buy those two items from any other location, even Gordo Tacos down the street.

An amazing "Safeway" store in San Francisco just blocks from Ft. Miley (VA San Francisco).

It is a shame that San Francisco has been over taken my crime. So, so sad.
