I came across Jeanne's Hair & Makeup Studio when researching wedding hair and make-up vendors in the Asheville area—and I'm so glad that I worked with Jeanne! She is an experienced professional and has done hair and make-up for decades; she has a lot of wisdom and good intuition when it comes to finding a style that really works for her clients. Personally, I don't wear a lot of make-up or do my hair, so I went to Jeanne with a request to do a more natural approach to my hair and make-up. In addition to make-up for myself, I also requested additional services from Jeanne to do hair and make-up for seven bridesmaids, my sister, my mom, and my mother-in-law. Jeanne was always quick and prompt in her responses and easy to work with. I did a trial run of my wedding hair and make-up with Jeanne (which I highly recommend) and we figured out a great look for my wedding day. Jeanne is really efficient in her work! I was ready in no time at all with the trial run! On the wedding day, Jeanne and her team of stylists came to the venue and worked through my bridal party very efficiently. On top of that, they also worked with each member in my bridal party to create a style that made them feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful. I really appreciated their attention to detail. Jeanne and her team began at 8am and we were all finished with hair and make-up before noon, with plenty of time to relax before the wedding ceremony. Working with Jeanne was a smooth and easy process; plus, her services are very affordable given her experience, wisdom, and knowledge. Thank you, Jeanne!

Jeanne is awesome!! Very professional, kind, and was able to style my wedding hair and makeup perfectly. I couldn't be happier with her work, and I'm very picky when it comes to my hair and makeup! 10/10 recommend for any formal hair/makeup styling :)

Jeanne is a sweetheart! I felt so comfortable and relaxed while getting ready. I wanted a half up curled hairstyle & a sparkly smokey eye for my wedding day and that's exactly what I got! This was my first ever experience getting my hair and makeup done professionally, and it totally shows. I felt so pampered and taken care of. The makeup was applied with airbrushing and my lashes and lipstick were included to take home. Jeanne was also kind enough to gift me a champagne bag, a garter, and a small "something blue" hair clip. The salon is adorable surrounded by flowers and plants and if you're lucky -- some hummingbirds. A lovely stress-free experience all around, highly recommend!

I came today for my hair and makeup trial for my wedding. I brought my hair extensions and veil so we could see the final look. Jeanne was wonderful and even had a beautiful piece for my hair that matches my veil perfect!! She was open to make changes if I didn’t like something, but everything was perfect! Can’t wait for my wedding day!!

This may be an odd review because I was not able to have Jeanne do my hair and makeup due to change of wedding location ! But wanted to say how personable she was and how confident I felt in selecting her !

Jeanne was AMAZING. My hairstylist for my wedding day cancelled on me three days before the wedding. Jeanne was able to accommodate me and all three of my girls.

Not only did Jeanne save the day by squeezing us in, but she did an amazing job on our hair. She did exactly what I asked for and even added some babies breath to my hair.

I highly recommend going to Jeanne if you are looking for someone compassionate, dedicated, and accommodating.

I used Jeanne for my wedding and she was great! Her and her team did an amazing job with all of my bridesmaids hair and makeup and were very prepared and professional. They knew what they were doing and were able to have everyone ready without any stress or running out of time. Jeanne made me feel so pretty on my wedding day and really listened to what I wanted. I would recommend for a stress free wedding day!

Jeanne and her girls were absolutely fantastic! I booked them for my wedding completely sight unseen as I live 9+ hours away and would not be able to have do the trial for hair and makeup ahead of time. I left my trust completely in their hands and I was not disappointed. The little area beside her salon was so lovely and gave us privacy for the morning to get ready and bond. Both Christina and Erica did a fabulous job on mine and my bridal parties hair/makeup. They both took their time and made sure that everyone left feeling like a million bucks. Jeanne checked in several times while we were there to see if we needed anything and also gave me an embroidered handkerchief and blue hair jewel to wear. She made us feel like family even in that short amount of time that we were there. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing hair and makeup done!

Jeanne and her team did my daughter’s hair and makeup for prom. They did a fabulous job!!! We will be back!

I would highly recommend Jeanne's Hair & Makeup Studio. They bent over backward to find someone available to travel to my wedding site to do my hair and makeup last minute during a busy time of the year. They asked lots of questions and for photos of inspiration ahead of time to ensure they knew exactly what I envisioned. Both girls were super sweet and supportive. They did a fantastic job making my vision become a reality!

Jeanne did a fabulous job with my hair and make-up for my elopement. She was easy to communicate and plan with, and the entire process was very convenient for wedding planning. But more importantly, I loved my hair and make-up! I rarely do much with my hair or make-up, so Jeanne did an amazing job keeping everything natural-looking enough that I felt dressed up and beautiful, and yet still comfortably myself. I highly recommend Jeanne!

I was really looking for a hair and makeup stylist that would keep me looking natural for our wedding, and Jeanne did an amazing job! She was very responsive from the start and checked in with me leading up to the wedding to make sure that everything was good to go. On wedding day, she and her team were amazing and made us all look beautiful! The service and quality of style was perfect and we all finished on time. I even changed the way I wanted my hair to look after looking in the mirror and Jeanne was able to quickly adjust to make it look just like I envisioned. Would highly recommend her!

Jeanne was an absolute delight! I had my hair and make-up done for my wedding and she was so sweet and kind. The hummingbird garden was a relaxing way to spend the time while others were getting their stuff done. She helped ease the day for me. Her talents are shown through the hair and make-up. Jeanne did a wonderful job with my wedding hair and makeup, as well as my mom's and matron of honor's. Jeanne is friendly, fun to work with, responsive, and reliable. She worked with a hair piece I had purchased, and the result was gorgeous! She uses airbrush products, has a variety of false lash options (standard, baby, etc.). I was very comfortable communicating and working with Jeanne throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Jeanne and her team to any bride looking for a one-stop-shop hair and makeup artist!

Jeanne did an amazing job! I showed her a difficult hairstyle I loved for my wedding and she went above and beyond. Truly talented and so friendly. My make up was perfect as well! My hair and make up was SO good that it could not have gotten better. I was blown away.

Jeanne helped me last minute with my wedding that was canceled before due to covid. she was so kind and understanding and very responsive with all my chaos and people canceling and rescheduling... she even squeezed me in for a last minute hair and makeup trial. Jeanne did my hair and makeup for my wedding on 2/22/22. She also did my mothers and grandmothers hair and make up. She did a fantastic job! She was professional, kind, took her time, made us comfortable, and the results were perfect!

I am so grateful I found Jeanne’s for my elopement ceremony in Asheville! I had my hair and makeup done and I was beyond thrilled walking out of the salon. I was unable to book a trial due to event timing and my present location, but Jeanne listened to my requests and nailed my final look. I felt amazing! Communication was great, booking was easy, and prices are perfect for any budget.

Jeanne was very helpful during the whole process and stayed in touch during all the wedding planning and even gave us very useful recommendations for other services in the area. Victoria and Amanda did a fabulous job on the hair and makeup and were awesome to work with! We received sooo many compliments from everyone! Would definitely recommend, and will be using them again if the need ever arises!

We did a make up trial just recently and she was amazing. She was personable and kind. Took into account what I wanted and didn’t want. She was fabulous! I highly recommend her. She will be doing the makeup for my wedding in April. Her studio is adorable and she will be traveling to my venue for the date. Her airbrushing make up was on point and she gave me something blue to put in my hair. ! I will update further after the wedding.
