Dollar General

I have always loved this place. It is essentially a small, secluded park dedicated to growth of WNC and the railroad.
The grass has been higher than usual this summer, probably due to the weather. A nice place for a sunny day picnic with the family or just enjoy some peace and quiet. It is a special treat when the weather is really cold!

So, to be honest most DG's are staffed by people who obviously don't want to be there. I'm not judging them, but it's the case. This one, however, is staffed by friendly people who actively check to make sure you're finding what you need. It's kind of hidden,but worth looking for.

The store has been through some tough times, but the staff here are always super friendly, and willing to go out of their way to help you. Don't be fooled by first glances, this is my favorite Dollar General.

Best staff. It is surprising how much I can get there without spending a lot of time in a bigger store, walking a mile.

Helpful, clean. The storefront was a little hard to find. Google maps took us to the wrong side of the street.

My boyfriend an I shop here in the afternoon and everyone has a smile on their face with excellent service
