A plethora of comfort food options with breakfast served all day. Food was hot and very tasty. Staff is very pleasant and the wait was short. I would certainly come back. ~ Update - food and service still top notch. As for pricing, you have to consider a Double Quarter Pound meal @ McDonalds is over $10. I feel the extra is worth it to support local businesses.

Best breakfast in town.

Many small businesses have been struggling during this COVID 19 pandemic, so we decided to start supporting out local people. After years of living in Spruce Pine, we decided to give these folks a try. What a nice surprise! Our only regret is that we didn't discover them sooner. It is our opinion that they have the best hamburger around! The customer service is great too. We plan to go for breakfast as soon as everything opens back up.

Excellent food. They have liver mush and where I live now you can't hardly find it so we ordered it. It was delicious. The biscuits and gravy reminded me of what my grandma used to make.

Fantastic food and service. Got the lumberjack special, the grits were on point.

Sweeties watriss, food was excellent 👍💯,very clean, nice family restaurant, just a nice cozy place to have a cup coffee or slice of pie. Sit and talk with your friends. You should really try it

We were soaking wet from riding in the rain and the owner welcomed us to come in, dry off and have a home-cooked meal. My friends had burgers, but I had the homemade chicken and dumplings; they were awesome!! The fried okra and coconut cream pie were tasty too!!

I had an excellent Western omelette and wonderful service. The Cafe seems to be popular with locals and has a down home feel.

It is in the far right corner of the strip mall with McDonald's, near the Shoe Show.

The wife and I were traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway on our motorcycle and spent the night in Little Switzerland. We were looking for a small family owned restaurant and found this place using Google Maps. The service was amazing and food was the best. My wife ordered the salad with chicken and I the open face roast beef sandwich with pinto beans and mashed potatoes. Everything was seasoned perfectly and the roast beef was so tender and tasty. If you are in this area you have to go try this place, it is definitely well worth the price. It's small but the food is to die for.

Café was clean with friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. Best of all? That was the best dadgum southern breakfast I've ever had! I don't know what magic they put in those grit, but they were soooooo good! It was butter. 😍 10 out of 10 definitely recommend if you crave good home cooked southern food!

Food was incredible and service was done how even better!! The sweet tea was perfect and my glass was never empty. The blooming onion was huge, the chicken tenders seasoned and fried to perfection, and I Hope next time we somehow manage to save room for dessert!

Best service and food that my wife and I had on our trip throughout North Carolina and Tennessee. We arrived Friday at 6pm and recieved a warm greeting and smiling faces from the open kitchen.
HIGHLY recommend this local gem.

Great place to eat...very friendly staff...that stay on top of their jobs and they make sure you get what you want ...very experienced, and the cook makes great food....great place to visit for some down home cooking.....my favorite Country style. A must visit if your in spruce pine you gotta check them out!

Good southern style American food. Big portions at a fair price. A huge variety. Staff is very attentive. Daily specials. Something for everyone. Smaller restaurant, booths and tables, busy for lunch/dinner but kitchen keeps up. Breakfast options, I think all day. Clean and professional family business.
