Cambria Hotel Summerville - Charleston

Last Saturday we attended my nephews graduation from The Citadel. It was great!! What wasn’t great, was the owner of the air bnb that they reserved, got upset because there was going to be a reception at the house, and threw them out of the house three hours before graduation. Now we were faced with trying to find a venue that would allow us to have this reception on such short notice, and one that would allow for a catering company to bring in outside food. That’s where the Cambria Hotel came into play. We called and spoke with the front desk attendant, July, and told her our story. She was so caring and helpful. She went above and beyond her duties to get permission for us to use their meeting room. She set the tables and chairs up for us, and told us if we needed anything, to let her know. We had a wonderful evening celebrating this special day. We were so taken back by her generosity and willingness to help. Cambria, you have a true gem with July. God Bless You All!!!!

I can't imagine anyone giving this place less than a glowing review.
We will absolutely be back, when in town.
And for CLC folks - there's a truck parking lot to the side, and plenty of parking otherwise.
Incredibly nice place with excellent customer service.
If anyone saw a cockroach, then I assume they brought it with them, because this place is immaculate.

Book now! Very new hotel or well kept! Separate semi truck parking. spacious rooms. The best cambria hotel I've ever experienced!! Personalized breakfast, no buffet.

Beautiful Hotel in a high scale area. It's fairly new and was very clean, and I can't stress enough gow important that is to me . Freindly staff and Super comfy bed and pillows . No continental breakfast ,but not mad if that's the only low of the place. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again

Originally we were staying at another hotel and did not feel comfortable staying there. We were very lucky when we found Cambria Walking in felt like a breath of fresh air. From the new and very clean rooms to the incredible service from the staff. Cambria truly made our stay wonderful

amazing hotel, worth it for what i paid. breakfast is requested the night before so be aware of that. felt very high end and fancy which was nice. rooms were fantastic and bathrooms clean. small bar in the lobby was a nice touch. definitely worth staying at if you’re considering options in this area. outdoor pool is quite relaxing as well. no hot tub :/

We had a great experience at this location. Hotel is very clean and our room was clean, even though we still will do our own cleaning. Check in was great with Mikayla and fast which was a plus because we had just had a very long day of flying. The location is perfect for dining and shopping not far away. The hotel is beautiful and still smells of fresh paint when entering so that was a plus, we remember when it was being built 3 years ago.

Very nice hotel - allergy friendly. Just discovered this brand which does not allow dogs (outside of Ada requirements on the first floor of course). Lady at the front desk was very friendly and cheerful. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Nice showers. Only con which I think is probably brand wide based on the second one we stayed at is that the bathroom door is opaque which means light shines into the entire room at night when someone uses it. If you have kids there’s no bathtub but that’s pretty obvious up front - it’s possible some rooms have them but we didn’t see any. This area is very nice - while you’re staying here I would recommend skipping the hotel breakfast and going to Vicious Biscuit down the street instead.

This hotel was one of the best my husband and I have ever stayed at. The rooms were so nice, romantic and very clean. They were also very modern, the mirror in the bathroom had a Bluetooth speaker which was so cool!! I’m not sure why there are any bad reviews, everything about this place was so great. The workers there were all SOOOO kind!!! From the front desk ladies to the cleaners but especially the ladies at the front desk. I don’t remember her name but she was so so sweet!! One of the sweetest people we’ve met on our trip down south. She made check in so easy, smooth and so quick! We loved this place and would definitely recommend it and come back.

Excellent and clean rooms!!! Bed was amazing!! Only downsides for me are no daily housekeeping, not enough towels and noise from kids running up and down the halls. Also housekeeping is every 3 days and we stayed 4 and never got anyone to refresh our room. That’s the beauty of staying at a hotel!

Did not make a reservation but was able to get checked into a room within 10 minutes. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

I stayed 3 nights with a wedding party. The hotel grounds and rooms are very clean. Nice modern decor & TV. Comfortable bed, I was lucky and had a microwave in my room. A few wedding guests didn’t have microwaves, but there is one accessible 24 hours in the lobby. My one suggestion would be to ensure microwaves are in every room, especially with the bar not open until 5 pm. Staff is friendly. Hotel is close to stores/restaurants, I would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent experience overall. Special mention to Heather at the front desk as she was very friendly and accommodating along with having an excellent attitude and brilliant smile. The room was very welcoming and clean. The bathroom had an interesting perk as the mirror had a Bluetooth speaker built in it! The layout of the room is very functional and a good value for the stay. Definitely recommend for business trips.

Absolutely loved this hotel.
The customer service while checking in and out was amazing. Professional, friendly and we were given all of the information needed for our stay.
The hotel and all common areas were very clean. Including the pool which we enjoyed one morning of our stay.
Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The design is modern, and looks very fancy for the extremely reasonable price we paid.
The selection at the bar was not great, but that could have been due to the staff member who was working the bar. She did not seem as if she was an actual bartender and maybe just someone filling in. There was no menu or prices given. I was surprised by the $32 charged for 2 glasses of wine, but the experience did not lower the quality of the stay. Just brought in my own bottle of wine the next night.
10/10 would recommend, and will be returning here on future trips to Summerville.
