Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar

Our family of 5 heading to Charleston for the night looking for some fresh hot Seafood. Well we found just what we were looking for @ The Shack. Place was a little busy as expected for Friday night. So we walked the little shops ,perfect pass time. Once seated, we were immediately greeted, served waters and appetizers ordered. My family likes to ask many questions about the food they are interested in, our Server Kayla was patient, knowledgeable, made great recommendations and spent time with my family as if we were the only customers in the place. The food arrived hot, fresh, tasty!!!! I don't normally take the time to review places but this place deserves it. GO EAT HERE!!!

Absolutely delicious. We ordered a variety off of things of the menu to try. The crab was nicely seasoned and so was the shrimp. The fried pickles and crab dip are a must try if they have them! Staff was really friendly and fun

This was our choice before we came to Summerville, South Carolina for the weekend. Wish I remembered our server because she was beyond excellent and a bartender. Black women with curly black hair. She new the food! Excellent cod and fries! We had charred oysters that were delicious too!

I have eaten alot of seafood... ALOT.. this place trumps anywhere I've ever been. The surf n' turf shrimp and breaded chicken wings was by far the best thing I have ever eaten.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Service was great our server was Jess and she was amazing.

No wait really, no inside seating We sat outside the waitress put us in front of the fan which was awesome The only thing we had to fight off was a fly food was absolutely amazing We both got the lobster roll I got mine with hush puppies He got his with french fries and then we obviously did the jalapeno and parmesan oysters. With some crab bites definitely awesome I'll be back.

This place was awesome, even though it's a bar, it's still kid friendly. The food was amazing, you get what you paid for and the atmosphere was perfect for an oyster shack. The service was fast, and our food was ready in minutes.

Been here several times and have had Felicia as our waitress almost every time. She is the most attentive, amazing waitress we've EVER HAD!!! She makes you feel right at home. We absolutely love her! Food and drinks are always quick to the table. Felicia is always on point!! She always makes our night! Food and drinks are great too!!

In town for work, and we decided to stop by. I can't say enough good about this place! The service was the best I've had in a long time, anywhere in my travels. The atmosphere was fun, upbeat with plenty of TV screens to watch, and the food was absolutely phenomenal! Best steamed oysters I've ever had! Will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area again.

The atmosphere, food, and service here are all amazing! My parents and I shared a dozen oysters, which were some of the biggest and tastiest oysters we’ve had (and we’ve had a lot!)! I also got the lobster roll, my parents shared a salad (which was huge) along with steamed clams, which were the daily specials for only $0.49 each! Highly recommend and definitely planning some return trips!

Great food and atmosphere. Sat outside and enjoyed drinks and oysters plus sandwiches. Had fantastic service from all staff, especially our server, Felicia.

The Shuckin’ Shack has been one of our faves since moving to Summerville. I even hesitate to write this review because I don’t want people to know about this hidden gem of an establishment.

Just hop for free park in the garage and walk right over to the Shuckin’ Shack. Everything I’ve had there has been incredible, most notably, their spin on a dirty martini and fried pickles. Their seafood never disappoints, with fat, plump, west coast oysters and everything dusted with Old Bay - it’s the taste of the coast right in Summerville. The staff is always super cool, and chill.

Our party of 3 dined outdoors today. The crab dip with toasted bread was absolutely delicious! My husband enjoyed the crab sandwich. Our daughter really liked the shrimp boil. I devoured grilled shrimp tacos. Jessie was a great waitress! We will definitely be back soon!!

Some of THE BEST seafood I’ve had in a long time. Great taste, very fast service. Will definitely be back the next time we visit South Carolina. We got the calamari, lobster sandwich, crab legs and low country boil. We don’t have many opportunities to get fresh seafood where we live in TN, this was a must before we went home, and they did not disappoint. Fun atmosphere too for dining in.

Wonderful little seafood place. Had the crab dip, low country boil, and fish and chips. Everything was delicious. Waitress was so extremely nice and gave us good recommendations on food and other things to do near by.

Loving this local find just outside of Charleston in Summerville. The atmosphere is so welcoming, the locals are friendly and the seafood is so fresh and delicious. I so can’t to come back to this place!

Our server Blaine made it a 10 star evening! He was extremely friendly and helpful with the selections. The steam buckets were awesome! Tons of perfectly cooked large shrimp. Crab legs cracked/snapped which were also cooked to perfection. Can't say enough about the dinner. Highly recommend Shuckin' Shack!
Side note: We were told there was going to be whole lobster the following day. We were told "they're crawling around back". We came back. No lobster!! Disappointed. BOO!!!

We had oysters, crab, shrimps and clams. Everything was fresh and tasty! Our server Felcia was super nice. We went there at 04:30 p.m. on Tuesday but inside was already very busy. Can’t wait to go back again.

Awesome atmosphere and amazing food. Made us feel like we were back in Panama City beach again. Oysters were fresh and wonderful with all the accompaniments you would want. A larger draft selectuon wouldn't hurt, but we had a great meal here!
