Bazaar on Cambridge

Great Russian/Eastern European grocery store with an incredible bakery. I try a new flavor of cake every time I go and am never disappointed.
The store has a large selection, including a bunch of different priyaniki flavors, Georgian wines, various teas and Balkan cheeses. There's also a deli and some prepared foods like salads.

I wouldn't use this store for all my groceries, but they have some real good things that Baza in Needham doesn't. German feta cheese is delicious. Chicory tea. Fruits are real, which is why they get moldy in a day (this is in response to another comment). Bakery is real and good.

Great store! You could spend hours looking at all the interesting stuff here!
Parking notes: There is a larger parking lot in the back, which seems to be the "main" entrance although you can also enter from the front on Cambridge St. The back lot is connected to CVS's lot so you could enter there from Brighton, or go down the alley from Cambridge St. There are a couple of small spaces (literally 2-3) in front on Cambridge, and very limited (but free) street parking in that area.
As for the store itself: A variety of foods, primarily Russian, but some from other Eastern European/Baltic/Mediterranean cultures including Greek, Turkish, Jewish/Israeli, etc. The bakery section is a standout, with many interesting breads and delicious looking cakes/pastries. There are refrigerated and frozen sections, fresh produce, meats and cheeses, and a deli counter. And even a small alcohol section. It's a must-visit, whether you're looking for the tastes of home or an international food adventure.

Whenever we are in Boston and want some Russian food - this is a go to. This store has a big selection of products. Friendly staff. A decent size parking lot on the back (decent size for Boston). Produce is fresh and there is a good variety. Staff generally speaks both English and Russian.
Edit: they recently changed the store layout which made it easier to navigate the store.

This place is great. You will find things that you won't find in other stores. From eastern europe cuisine to middle eastern snacks. I specifically suggest the sesame and halva mix that comes in biscuit shape. Deliciois and healthy. Store is clean and tidy. Everything is fresh. You will enjoy it for sure! Btw there are two entrances. I added the phitobfor the other one that was not on Google map.

Good selection of hard to find food. Plenty of slicked fish, caviar, etc. Pretty good takeout food department. Nice and friendly staff. Definitely would recommend to go to this store.

The best bread ever — Borodinsky bread. Napoleon cake (zavarnoi) is a must try. Perfect prices for dry fruits and nuts.

This is a good store for eastern europian foods and spirits selection, however, you do not need to be Europian International food seeker to enjoy this store. It carries all the usual supermarket food items and produce, you can get prepared foods here and even lunch specials. My shopping list always includes the Russian staple Buckwheat, and some loose leaf tea from Sri Lanka.

Wonderful store for imported products and regular produce. Note about expiration dates: the date on the package is often the date of *production* not expiration. The package will say something like “good for a year since production date.” But of course that part is written in Russian. So if you only rely on the printed dates you’ll miss many perfectly good products.

Lots of Eastern European products. Fresh fruits and vegetables, charcuterie, freshly baked bread and canned products Very typical of a European supermarket. There are duck salami, caviar cream, sprats paté. Will definitely come back.
Pro tip: ask the attendants or cashier if you don't know the products. They are very helpful.

I love this place. For certain categories of fresh veg, for sausage, and for some very reasonably priced beer, wine and vodka. The bakery is really under-rated. Colorful staff. I love the new paint job outside too. Big improvements inside and out recently.

Very nice ethnic store. Russian products mostly, but other nationalities, such as Greek, and middle eastern might find appropriate foods. Their pastries look good, I just need to try them. Bakery, and deli inside.

The bakery is amazing. Ordered a cake for a huge party. Dealt with Sabina. She was very nice and professional. The cake itself was absolutely amazing. So delicious. I sent her a picture of what I would like it to look like and she absolutely nailed in! It was such a hit at the party there wasn’t any left at the end of the night! Would definitely recommend and plan on ordering again in the future.

Great place to buy international food. As someone from Europe I enjoy finding goodies from my childhood and the fresh food selection is also great. You can find milk, eggs, fresh bread, pastries and other basics there as well. Worth checking them out.

I love this store. Russian stores are the only places to get food Finnish food in Boston. Great deli & awesome grocery store if you're just looking for chicken or a favorite like beef heart. Great people too.

Love this store. If you are if Polish or Russian descent you will love it too. Has a great variety of ethnic foods, bakery, fish and deli foods, and old home dishes. I will be going again. Ample parking in back. In Allston, MA.

Just for the half-sour pickles and the good prices on cheese it earns 4 stars. Also a great place if you love really dark rye breads. I also enjoy browsing the vodka selection and the candy aisle for some unique finds.

Awesome place, it's nice to walk in to a store where everyone speaks your language once in a while. My boyfriend and I came in before Christmas and it was very lively. The food is great, happy to see fresh produce, the ladies serving salads were nice and helpful, and the cirki are my little childhood treat as remembered.

Excellent store. They renovated the area for baked goods, breads, and cakes. It's much easier to get around in the front of the store.
