Paisanos Restaurant & Bar

I had the Guatemalan platter to sample a little of everything, and it was so much food that it will be lunch and dinner tomorrow as well! Naturally I had to try their flan which was extraordinarily well done, perfectly smooth and creamy. All gluten-free. Service was friendly and natural. Definitely recommend!

Exactly what the doctor ordered looking for outdoor dining and a margarita on the first nice night of the season. We went with the quesadilla and wet burrito respectively and were not disappointed. Definitely ask for the bottle of house hot sauce to layer in as your palate allow, was very flavorful.

i stopped by here for a late lunch and got 2 of the chorizo tacos Mexicanos as well as a pork and cheese pupusa. prior to ordering i got complimentary chips and salsa. i really liked the flavor of the salsa although it could have been spicier. the tacos were delicious and i added some of their hot sauce as well as a squeeze of lime. next was the pupusa. it came with a salsa and some lightly pickled veg. this was also very good and i really liked the crunch of the veggies with the savory pupusa. i had lived in Waltham for 3 years but this was the first time i had been here and now that i have moved i will have to stop by next time i am in the area. great service and delicious food. i only wish i had tried a drink.

I have been going to Paisano since they opened. Every time I've gone somewhere else, I'm always disappointed that I didn't go to Paisano. The owners Hector and Emilio are really nice people and are always there. I've never had a bad meal there, and I get take-out at least once a week. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Love to see a family business thriving!!!

Truly one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants anywhere in greater Boston. Family run, this is maybe the most under the radar spots around. It should be acclaimed

I really love this place!! The drinks are deliciously, the food even better and the waitress is always happy will a good will!!

I have been coming here for years. It is one of the few restaurants that have kept their quality and portion size through the pandemic. The staff is super friendly. The food great. Indoor and outdoor seating. I recommend the hortchata. It is perfect.

Very friendly people, great food and service!

The service here is excellent we didn’t want to wait for an outside patio and sat inside in the back it took about a half an hour. Unfortunately that room was just too loud we could not hear each other talk. However they provide almost unlimited salsa and chips. The chips come hot and tasty. Plenty of salt. I ordered two tacos beef. Each had an ample filling of chunk size steak. Very good. My husband had a taco meal however the tacos did not come with lettuce tomatoes or sour cream. I will return and come on the early side to get an outside patio. The outside setting is spacious and the ambience is nice.

Paisanos is a little off the main stretch, but it is worth the detour from Moody Street. We had a great night in the outside seating here. The food was outstanding and filling with great portion sizes for very reasonable prices. We got some appetizers that were tasty and fun, and our entrees (chimichangas, burritos, and tacos) exceeded expectations. The house margaritas were really good, and the Paisanos Margarita was worth the extra cost. As good as the food, drink, and ambience were, it was the service that made tonight really special. We were seated immediately, our server was on the ball without being obtrusive, and everything moved smoothly. She herself was kind and friendly, warm and funny, and she made the meal super fun. We will be back.

Ach mann I should not be writing this review while hungry! Food was amazing - pupusas and wet burrito for me. Everyone else in our group loved their food as well. And cuss of a deal! Maybe I need to make an emergency lunch run now that I think of it...

You have to try their homemade hot sauce. They sell it in a giant stirofoam cup, too. it’s HOT! Their enchiladas verde (which is my go-to everywhere) was really good!

Gotten food here from multiple times and they never disappoint. Whether you’re doing fine in or take out, this is a must try place in Waltham.
